Great video! Thank you not sure about using impact driver to tighten these type of screws due to possible over torquing and possibly breaking bolt 😮

Also taking the brake fluid cap off before ping the pistons helps with bleeding the brake lines

Great video a bit of advice you can use a c clamp to help push the pistons back by placing a old pad on them both just so you don't have to do them one by one then use the clamp to push that brake fluid back up in the lines

This is a good idea. I just believe I didn't have a good c clamp available during this time. I'll try to show this next time!

I put brake caliper grease on the channels the pads slide in, caloper bolts, and the fronts of the brake pistons. Then once assembled before the wheel goes back i hit the rotor up with some Bake cleaner.

God video. One piece of advice: an impact is good for breaking and loosening bolts, but you can over-torque when tightening. Always best to hand-tighten, just to the point they’re nice and snug.

That is true. It can certainly lead to issues in the future, but just my quick and easy way since I'm accustomed to my impact. I'll make sure to point that out in future videos. Thank you!

You should also grease where the pads slide against the pad. so the pads slide and do not hang up. You can also add a little silicone on the piston rubber to help keep it pliable. great and helpful video.

Ah, I will keep those in mind, they sound like good ideas! I'm glad you found it helpful!

It's easier when you have a Disc Brake Piston Compressor vs trying to compress the piston with your hand on the brake pad.

You need sil Glyde on that hardware so the pads slide easier and rubber boots my guy ... no impact gun tightening bolts ... open brake fluid cap ... c clamp to push in piston.. brake cleaner ...

I wasn't thinking about putting the grease on the slide hardware when I did it elsewhere, but that would have been a good call. Where are you recommending rubber boots?
Impact was me cutting corners, with low settings, but I also recognize that this can cause issues in some cases.
I unfortunately had my C clamps at another location, but opening the brake fluid cap would have been a good move to make it easier and put less stress on the system (although I doubt I nearly met the operating pressure these are routinely under).
I do appreciate the input and it definitely gave me some stuff to keep in mind going forward. Thank you for taking the time to give me some input on how I can improve on future endeavors!

How to replace center console lights

Should bleed them and tip... c clamp on old pad works mo betta to retract calipers j/s..

C clamps would have certainly made compressing the calipers easier. But I didn't have my clamps pulled out at the time, and the calipers didn't put up too much of a fight 😂
And I could have bled them to make it a little easier, but the fluid in the system was relatively new, so I didn't want to needlessly replace and make it messier.
