This song deserved a grammy. Lots of their songs do imho, but this one is epic and it's growing on me for sure. This one, invincible, and descending probably could have as well.

I’ve always said every song on this album someone shows off their abilities and this one is Adam’s show off song.
The very last squeal from Adam that goes Into that mean drum roll is the slickest shit I ever heard lol
It makes the hair on my arms stand up, every time. I don't even understand how he conceived of that exact sound. (Nor do I need to. And, yes, I use artificial and pinch harmonics all the time, in my playing.)
Adam live is like a mannequin.. just killing these huge riffs, but never emotes... It's so unexpectedly awesome...

You hear it…that’s awesome man. On your first listen it’s hard to take in, but you’re picking it up.
This song is a great example of the fact that Tool is the modern Pink Floyd. Not that Pink Floyd isn’t eternal… well, you get the idea :)

agreed. People count Adam Jones out because he doesn't do all the wild tuning changes and his riffs and melodies are more textural than technical for the most part but there is a lot of subtle flashiness to what he does as a guitarist... Stuff that would only make sense in a band like Tool
Oh yes. In Fear Inoculum Tool takes a minute to lay it all out in a sound landscape. Like a bath for your ears. “Right in Two” brings you back to base Tool. Or “Eulogy.” Enjoying the reactions. Let the beat find you!

Should definitely check out Culling Voices from Fear Inoculum, starts off with some of Maynard’s softest haunting vocals and half way into the song Adam goes into this big riff and goes on from there it’s a real work of art you should check it out soon 👍👍👍
