So, many of the special sound effects you hear at the start of many Tool songs are done by Danny, he just has an incredible amount of special effects to go with. He's really amazing!

This song won another Grammy for Tool, deservedly so. I you don't want to go back to the beginning, then consider my two faves: "Invincible" off Fear Inoculum and the studio version of "Pushit" off of Aenema. I believe Tool is its own genre, and stands alone in the hierarchy of bands for me.

I just found your channel. I really appreciate that you don't get all crazy and freak out during the best part of a song. It feels more like we're all listening together and enjoying, and occasionally you point out the awesome! Great reaction, I'll keep watching.

If you haven't done Push It, please checkout the studio album version 1st and then the live version off the album Salival. Amazing song they made some tweaks to and created something special.

Danny is incredible on this track, but I am almost spoiled to the point where I expect this level of playing from him, and he always seems to deliver. For me, the real star of this song is Adam. His guitar tones on this song are just brutal (your use of "filthy" is spot on), and the way he uses feedback is exquisite. No Vai or Henson style pyrotechnics here, just solid, atmospheric playing that is absolutely perfect for the piece. None of that is meant to imply that Adam doesn't always bring it, because he definitely does, but the just shines a little bit brighter here.

    I Subscribed!TOOLARMY 🤘🤘🤘💯🔥
Time for harder, brutal Tool-intolerance, crawl away, bottom, undertow. Anything off the Undertow album. Puscifer is amazing as well. Maynard shines in APC, Tool or Puscifer. Just gotta pick if you want that respective tone and genre.

Pushit is one of my favorites. Mainly for the live “Salival” version. I’d love a reaction to that but I think you should listen to the album version first to get a listen to the original and see how they expanded on it. Still loving the reactions.

I agree, album first and then Salival version for comparison.
And same for Opiate and Opiate2. :)

    You're right, it's not cymbals, it's bells. They're smaller cymbal-esque instruments.

Adam's Opus. This song can not be topped musically, IMO.
