getting choppy playback on the screen recording and not knowing how to solve that problem when doing reaction videos... also, i have a question for you, i have in total 4GB of memory and 200Gb of storage on my macbook pro and camtasia requires basically ALL of that space in order to work (if i'm understanding their requirements correctly as posted on their site) are they serious about that or am i misunderstanding? do they need all that space for their product to work or are they saying that the computer should have that amount of GBs just because they would assume that it is up to code to handle the product? the reason i want to make sure is because they say "of available space" which sounds like what i dread but i am not tech savvy so i'm asking.

We use Camtasia at work. We have a lot of computer illiterate people that make small videos. They like it alot. I have used it and like it for screen recording.
I have been working with Camtasia since version 8 and I love it. I teach videoediting in Camtasia and other programs - but all my own editing (my own and my customers) is done in Camtasia 👍😃
Thank you bro for making this video! I've been sending my videos to my phone to use capcut and then sending it back to my computer to finish it🤦🏿. Now I became a advil🤤 attic, from all the headaches🤕 I got from editing😳😳😳.
Camtasia is ranked number one choice for screen capture software with video editing ability and unique edit options (that are more feature rich for editing screens, than screen capture options in Vegas Pro that I also use). If you are doing software tutorials with on screen capture, and also great for any video editing, this is the one to get!
It's surprisingly pretty good, at least if you use it (as I do) to record and edit videos that are basically PowerPoints or similar "text+some images" type content. It does a couple of audio tricks -- not many, not great, but I export the audio and enhance it in another program, then import it back in Camtasia, fixed, sync it back to the video and that's fine. It's weak or limited with anything like video enhancement, color correction, etc. With practice, it can be pretty powerful within those limits. Worth considering, especially if you do screen capture. Pretty good at compression when you export or upload the video, also.
Great video. What camera did you use to make this video? It is very clear and professional. I'm looking to buy a camera and like the quality of yours. In your link to the "equipment used to make this video" I see a bunch of equipment and don't think all is needed?
I do agree the most difficult part of creating videos is the editing your videos part. I think editing is the most difficult part because you have to find the effects, transitions, and music to add to your videos so you can publish that video onto RUclips. You have to make your Thumbnails for the video that you took and edited. Editing your videos can take some time like maybe 2 to 4 hours even up to 8 hours. But hey it is all in the process of learning and editing in order to become a RUclipsr. Yeah it is going to take some time to learn but hey once you get the hang of it, it is going to be easy for you in the future
As a leading screen recorder, Camtasia NEED to allow recording in 24fps, only 25p and 30p right now. Omar, if you use Camtasia currently, what frame rate do you use, and how do you mid frame rates on your timeline with a-roll and camtasia tutorial?
Good stuff, however, CAMTASIA's Music gets flagged 80% of the time on RUclips, I've used the software for years..the Music Licensing issue is a problem.
I use Camtasia all the time I love it. But I no longer use the music. Every time I use Camtasia music I get a strike. From the same people claiming it is there's. So I always have to contact the same people to get them to release the music so I can get rid of the claim. I also have had to put a dispute with RUclips so as to let them know I own the rights to the content. It happens so often that I ended up giving up on Camtasia music and settled for the RUclips music library.
@@EverydayEnglishTipswithAmit What do you mean by "what's the configuration of the laptop you edit Camtasia?" I don't understand what you are trying to ask me? I put the music at 5%. Ok Omar, since you e done a video on a video editing software for desktop/laptop, you need to do one for cell phones or all varieties. I just spent to purchase a Galaxy S21 Ultra so that I wouldn't have to purchase an upgraded phone AND a good quality camera all at once. So anything I'm editing, I don't want to have to transfer it to any computer first to edit it. Right now, I'm using 2 different apps to edit with, because the editing tools of VN are easier for me to figure out how to use, but it won't upload to YT in an acceptable format. So I'll upload the fully edited version to my Kinemaster app be cause that one WILL upload it into an acceptable format for YT. And THEN RUclips has to upload the video to get it up on my Studio. So what ONE SIMPLE TOOLS app for beginners can I use that does EVERYTHING I need to do?

I use Kinemaster because it is just easy for beginners like myself that do not have a phd in everything. I do not have the patience to sit and learn a ton of stuff. I learn hands on and bump into stuff as I go along. People think you have to have a ton of really expensive programs and fancy tech stuff to make good videos. . . Just curious as someone who does training videos with Camtasia every day, who records audio first then video record to your audio, or do you do it the reverse, or do you free ball it and screen capture and record audio simultaneously? Just curious on people's workflow.
I always record everything at the same time. I don't have the patience to go back and add audio later, or do it the other way, where the audio is first. That sounds like too much work. I usually do quite well on the first take. Most of my tutorials are about Camtasia, recorded with Camtasia (an older version), at the same time. Works out pretty well.
I had a lot of issues with their audio and claims, so be careful and document the video and what audio of their assets you used in case you have to appeal. I posted a video about this on my channel.
Hi Omar, I have a ZV1. What special connection do I need to connect my Sony to my computer? Also, what about a stand along mic like the Rode Pro or the Shure SM7B?
I purchased Camtasia some time ago hoping it would help me make content faster. I regretted it though. Yes, it makes recording screencasts simpler, and I like that I can adjust mouse clicks and keystrokes independently of the recording (i.e. they aren't baked into the video unlike what I'd get if I recorded with OBS and some keystroke/mouse highlight tools). But it feels like boomer software. It just feels... off... for modern editing, I don't know. Can't come up with a better description for it. The animations, the effects library etc are so 00-ish it hurts. Can't do end to end editing here; for me this is just an overpriced screen capture tool.
No, you would need a screen recorder. TechSmith also makes Snagit for screen recording if you stick with Final cut for video editing. Here is mac discussion I saw with the same question. www.justanswer.com/mac-computers/5hq5u-record-computer-screen-final-cut-pro.html
I use iMovie for all my videos which you can watch on my RUclips channel! But only challenging factor of iMovie is its pathetic limitations on Titles and Transitions

Awesome! ধন্যবাদ।
What’s better camtasia or streamyard ?
Hi Omar, I have a ZV1. What special connection do I need to connect my Sony to my computer? Also, what about a stand along mic like the Rode Pro or the Shure SM7B?
You need a CAM LINK it cost around 100$ and it’s the only way to be able to use your camera as a web came really …
Lumafusion for the win - but this looks cool
Hey, what software are you using to shoot this video?
*I am from India* 🇮🇳 *and I don't have window or pc is any best app for video editing which I can use in phone* 📱*only* . *Then please tell me?*
Drink every time u hear 'super'. 🤘
Super bro
Can I use Final cut pro to record screen like camtasia?
No, you would need a screen recorder. TechSmith also makes Snagit for screen recording if you stick with Final cut for video editing. Here is mac discussion I saw with the same question. www.justanswer.com/mac-computers/5hq5u-record-computer-screen-final-cut-pro.html
Woohhooo you uploaded
Thank you very much ❤️
Is this video using Camtasia to capture and edited?
Hey @Think Media What about iMovie for a beginner video editing software? Or should I just jump head first into Final Cut Pro?
I am a beginner and using IMovie. Its surper easy and intuitive. When you get comfortable with this , you can always subscribe to final cut pro.
@@rahultrivedi6339 Did that too, first Imovie, then was frustrated I cannot put two pic's at the same time so moved to FCPX
I use iMovie for all my videos which you can watch on my RUclips channel! But only challenging factor of iMovie is its pathetic limitations on Titles and Transitions
Very good
So with a screen recorder -- it's a alternative option to Green Screening
