Even though making money is a great thing to have, starting a RUclips channel should be about finding your *passion* and turning it into videos. That way, you'll be much more inclined to be consistent since you genuinely enjoy what you do! 👌🏻
I want to make Videos about something I'm passionate about as a way to meet others that are into it also and I want to start a business in this one particular space, but I am not Technical at all. And I don't enjoy the editing process at all its not coming easy to me but I'm seeing it as a necessary evil
For example he says to buy am external hard drive, I bought one but have no clue how to use it. And for me the hardest part has been just moving video around to where I need them to be
Finally someone explains an and b roll. I'm new to video editing. Like i've never made a video yet. I have a lot of a roll from a camping trip. I've downloaded some software (wish i would have seen this sooner so I could try fantasia), purchased a music source, and now i'm trying to learn the steps. I've seen several but this video is the best i've seen. I appreciate how you explain everything. Clear and concise. Many thanks. I have subscribed.
This was FLAWLESS I’ve watched many videos and homie you killed this very descriptive in a short period of time. You’ve earned another like an a new subscriber thanks my friend.
This is a great video for beginners (which I am). It is really organized and your pace is not too fast to follow like some of the starter videos I have watched. Moreover, the program you recommend starting with is pretty simple. Some people recommend programs that are so complex, it takes weeks to really get effective. Great energy in the video too! As a professional presenter, I know how important energy is and your energy is great!
The thing I love about being able to make content is that there’s endless ways to do something. Like being able to do funny/epic edits, shoot things that interests you or something your interested In and that you wanna share to the rest of the world. But the biggest challenge is being able to bring in the people to watch the video like back in the day

I have been wondering how to make simpler videos because my goal is to make simple edits since I sometimes tend to edit in a more complex style. Watching this video has helped me to understand to use cuts properly as wel as texts, so thank you for your simple editing and your tip of being organised.
Wow, thanks for recommending the external hard drive! My laptop is running out of space, slowly but surely, so I've been on the hunt for one. Thanks for the tips! :) Edit: congrats on hitting 2M subs!!!
Man, I like that "get 1% better after with every video you edit" quote cause if you think about, after 100 videos you'll be 100% better!! Can't argue with that 😅

Ive found that when you pursue something for fun instead of focusing on the end result, you tend to have a lot more success. Caring too much about the destination instead of the journey can cause ppl to inadvertantly sabotage themselves. So Im just gonna practice 1 hour a day for fun. Awesome video. I’m trying to learn editing because it seems cool and I’d like to eventually make a side hustle out of it. You explained everything so well.
THANK YOU! I'm playing GMOD and I use my channel for it really tough not adding in edits if I pause a video that probably helps for that part but along with edits is amazing Just making something into your video and your editing creation appears is amazing! Loved this and great for beginners like me
thank you - that was a very useful 10 minute primer. I got a whole load of holiday footage and was daunted about how to make a start on turning it into a short holiday film
Hi Omar @Think Media. I do love your tech reviews and insights related to podcasting and RUclips. Unfortunately, I have a pet peeve that's born out of my frustration at the lack of content related to studio headset and BTE hearing aid. What am I talking about? It's not just you, Omar. I have a severe hearing loss in both ears and monitoring the audio is a tricky. Thankfully, I am wearing a powerful behind the ear hearing aid. Plus, I'm using a 14 watt speaker to help. Here's the problem. I do understand that a studio headset can help with monitoring the audio portion of your video or podcast. Unfortunately, these over the ear headset interfere with my hearing aid and cause and loud & annoying feedback in my right ear. I'm using a Samson SR850 studio headset. Great set. Since RUclips is supposed to be a great search engine, I thought, "I can't be the only RUclipsr or podcaster with this problem! Surely, someone must have done a video on this problem." Not really. I was able to piece together what caused the problem. I needed a headset that sits on the ear NOT over the ear. Do you think people may be interested in that; especially with the growing # of RUclipsrs and podcasters that may wear a hearing aid.
I get that effect from inserting the talking head as a Picture-in-Picture (sometimes called PIP), and then cropping it to a circle using the 'mask' feature. This is in InShot, but there should be a way to do it in most programs
What apps that are free should I use to edit videos? I want to record video game and reactions so how would I record myself and the screen? Great video and I enjoyed watching!
