I remember this fantastic hit in 1976. I was in my second year of nurse training in North Wales UK when I heard Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel. Oh my word such beautiful voices and when I saw them, I thought I had died and gone to heaven ! all of them absolutely drop dead gorgeous looking guys but more than that their voices were HEAVENLY. I listened to their music all through my training and I still do to this day. These guys will never know that their music got me through the gruelling 40 hr week of shifts and all the studying after a long shift, and the , the three monthly practical and written exams I had to pass, then after three years training had to pass a written 'hospital' set exam' followed by a written State Exam' to become a State Registered Nurse. I did qualify and practised for 44 years becoming a Nurse Consultant and Independent \Non Medical Prescriber and University Lecturer for Post Graduate Nurses i.e. teaching qualified nurses going on to do advanced studies and Tavares will never know their music got me through it all. If only I could get to meet them to say THANKYOU.
