We were in university when we fell in love. (I met him since we both 5 years old). This is one of the song that I remember when we start dating 1978-1979. We married 1980. We were together for 40 years until he died in 2020. A real love story made since childhood. He was my friend, my husband, my everything. As a Christian I know that I will see him again.

I remember how big music was back in the day. Dances kids actually danced, we watched solid gold for the weekly count down American bandstand, MTV was actually music.
I remember I went to one of his concerts, and all the audience . me and my partner included, started dancing as he sang this song. Lou transformed the theater into a dancing room!

There is very little rap music that I like because most of it is crude and belittling women. The 70s was a beautiful era for music and people seemed better looking than now, everyone seems to be going with these blown up lips and eyebrows like 10 caterpillars stuck together, and don’t get me started on these big butts and breasts, and that’s just the men. 😂
