god the clip where percy tells vex "i'm so tired of hurting people" gets me every time. you only see him confessing that kind of stuff to her. the only other time i remember him being that vulnerable is right after his resurrection, when he said something along the lines of "I miss a lot of people" in reference to his parents and sibllings

@@Nova-tr4fd I don’t get why they had so much trouble with them in s1. They gave us enough Vax and Kiki to get they like each other, and Scanlan’s thing for Pike is obvious. But Percy and Vex were snubbed of anything meaningful.
@@nicholashurrell3257 i think it’s because at this point in the campaign, their only meaningful moment was the “darling take the mask off” scene. everything else was surface level flirting. both taliesin and laura have said that the feelings between the two got more serious after the mask off moment, and that it was more just attraction before that. perc’ahlia was always a much slower build up than vaxleth and pikelan

I feel like Percy and Vex's relationship only became a thing AFTER Vax decided he wants to be in a relationship with Keyleth. Think of it as Lauren's way of getting back at Liam in a cute jealous twin kind of way. It gets even better and funnier when Lauren has Vex get pissed off from Liam making Vax be a pest lmfao I love these guys so much
this is actually kinda true - laura didn’t realize that you could actually DO romance in d&d until vax’s confession!! that’s what got her to start actually leaning into the flirting between her and percy
yes and no, I mean Vax and Keyleth's relationship happened first, or rather Vax awkwardly asking Keyleth out and starting the most annoying 'will they won't they' ever happened first, and let everyone else feel ok with doing things like that in a DnD game, but honestly, Vex and Percy had something happening long before that confession happened lol.
@@mayaenglish5424 oh they definitely did, but it was more kinda flirting without a definite purpose - when the confession happened, laura realized you could actually have romantic relationships played out in d&d. she said so in one of the talks machina episodes, i’m pretty sure
@@Nova-tr4fd Yeah I remember that, I'm just saying, whether it was intentional or not Laura and Taliesin have CHEMISTRY. It's kind of like Matt and Liam, it just happens. Though Matt and Liam is just inevitable in what seems like every character combination tried so far lol.
