To be clear, because a few people have commented, these are only introductions done by Sam for a character (excluding Tary's intro.) So introductions like Obby's in Liam's one shot aren't included, because it was done by Liam.
@@shadowstrider8295 sam had a character before named scanlan, he was killed but they resurrected, instead of sticking with the group he barates them for showing his daughter he broke the promise he gave her of not dying and left the group to be with his daughter, after leaving town they meet his new character, they were furious, even the filming crew threw things at him after the episode lol
@@shadowstrider8295 Well it's kind of a catch-22, the group arguably did some kinda fucked up things to Scanlan's dead body, basically parading his body in front of his daughter, proving he broke his promise of not dying, while traumatizing her, and like covered his body with whipped cream and some other shenanigans, and let it rot on him, because they had to wait to rez him after a while, so Sam's character, Scanlan was pretty pissed, told them all to fuck off, and ran off with his daughter. And the party, for some reason thought there actions weren't that bad, so they were mad at Scanlan for leaving. It's weird.
Tary really grew on me. His characterization after the timeskip was great. Also the imagery of Sam’s brief description of him clutching the necklace and weeping after Vex and Vax were killed in their first fight against Vecna.
@@ninboy01 exactly. Just like everyone I originally hated Tary. But post timeskip and then the Darington Brigade one off I liked him quite a bit. He was supposed to be unlikeable at first. Sam realized he wasn't going to get this new character into anyone's hearts immediately just due to it not being Scanlan.
@@13vatra Honestly I was with Travis in that we both immediately liked him haha. I was hype af during Tary's introduction, as much as I loved Scanlan. Maybe slightly disappointed to see the gnome go, but I never disliked Tary, he was hilarious.
I love that the cast is like “okay Matt’s describing someone, this seems important he’s going into detail, okay, fancy clothes alright- oH THATS HOW IT IS?” with Tary 😂 you can even see Travis glance over at him like “is that… no.”
The Sam/Trais chemistry is gold. Travis's face during Taryon arrival, he was so bumed up with Scanlan's depart earlier in the episode, not just as Grog. He seemed really down without Sam's Character. i love how he go from 0 hype and completely closed, to doubtfull, to a beautyfull genuin smile. He is happy, Sam fucked with everybody's heart and mind, but he is here so all is fine.
Small detail, mentioned maybe once? But I love that Nott used a piece of a porcelain doll’s face as a mask, such a rad idea. I don’t know why but I think it’s so cool

Yeah, I think a huge part of why I love C1 so much is Scanlan and Tary. They're both his best characters imo.
