I had chronic pain on both sides intermittently. I started doing this exercise exactly as demonstrated by you for last 3-4 days and my pain has miraculously reduced !

Hello mam , you have demonstrated very well. I m also facing a problem in my right hips while walking or running . Pain or uneasiness increases when I run. I gone through MRI dr. says little bit problem in KE L5 . He suggested physio. Physio suggested me same exercises thrice a day . I tried but not much improvement . What should I do .Plzzzz help

Hellow Mam, My wife is suffering from same problem since last three months, she is not able to stand up straight. Doctor has advised same exersices as you performed in this video but she is not able to do requisit exersices as getting pain during streching. Kindly advise suitably. Regards 🙏

Thank you for the video, the pain on my left buttock has subsided after doing the exercises mentioned. This week I used folded blanked on my left side while working and didn't feel any pain. Can I continue to do that or use it only when I feel the pain? Kindly answer. Thank you.
There is no harm in doing the stretches even after the pain has subsided..but would suggest to do at least strengthening of hip muscles for some days so that pain does not reoccur

Good to hear that ...the streching you can do 3-4 times daily ...other steps once or twice daily is fine

Dr. Gohrani/KD Physio - Few quick clarifications.
1. The video consistently refers to the hip as the place of pain/discomfort. Can you please clarify whether you are actually referring to the Gluteus (buttock) area?
2. I have been having a dull pain for more than 2 years in the left gluteus area which gets triggered more, whenever I sit for long periods of time, like computer work, driving etc. Also when running, am unable to run my fastest, because every time I attempt to lift the left leg off the ground, the dull pain kicks in preventing me from achieving maximum speed.
Are the above clear symptoms of Piriformis syndrome and would your suggested exercises and tips help? Thank you in advance.

Hai ma'am. Iam a soldier who was suffered from LBA with no mobility. Now fully recovered but having tingling sensation in left butt region only. SLRT is 80 degree. Power B/L L/L is normal. Good video very well explained..just can't agree with last tip given in end...using a soft pillow or towel per se may be good for piriformis perspective but it will deallign our spine ..suppose i have to sit in office for half hour or longer
By keeping a soft pillow or towel ,there will be no affect on your posture ...only it will reduce the pressure on your affected hip ..also follow this only till you get recovered ,not every time
