The flaws of this scene, is that Kurt was with the astronaut helmet but without protective gloves, as well as Jean Grey, but in this case, she was without the helmet and without the gloves, once the ship was all broken. And even when the ship explodes, and kurt goes to get her, he is still without the gloves, certainly he would freeze under his clothes... Jean woudn't freeze because of the phoenix, it was protecting her I supose... Butttt, this is all what caused me a little bug... The rest I loved
The freezing part is wrong. Even though being in space without a suit (gloves) will probably be catastrophic because of the difference in pressure. Freezing will not be an issue. As there's no air (molecules) to make the heat transfer. And loosing heat via thermal radiation, will take allot of time (hours/days), and most likely not an issue while you're still alive.

Did yall not see that her clothes were burnt and damaged and her hair is kind of what the force resides in. In the movie whenever she uses her powers her hair flows and ripples in the air slowly
I think the Phoenix was drawn to Jeans deep potential. That deep potential is what defeated Apocalypse. She was already extremely powerful. The phoenix just amplified her powers.
Okay so Jean's power in Xmen apocalypse takes the form of a phoenix but it isn't the phoenix force But in this movie, she redirects and absorbs a cosmic force that enchances her abilities That's just the bare bones of it, but what I don't understand is how some think that this is the PF At the end yes it takes the form of one but it only does after jean becomes one with it, and remember her powers already take the form OF a phoenix Now that i think about it, there hasn't been a jean in the movies yet to outright HAVE the phoenix force This movie comes close, but like apocalypse and last stand, it was all just jean
I think the problem comes from they never define what's she's absorbing. To me, Phoenix is more what protects her and helps to keep control over the force she absorbed. And as the movie goes, she's less and less "Jean" as the power is eventually disrupting her body. I might push the interpretation a bit far but the solar flare doesn't look fiery, its more grey and purple. When she absorbs it, on one or 2 frames you can see the fire around her taking the shape of a bright burining bird. At the end of the movie, she's a very fiery bird too with no grey/purple. And imo thats why cracks on her skin are orange/yellow, its not the "flare force" trying to get out, its the "pheonix" trying to hold her body together cause a human body can't handle such cosmic energy. But in order to do that, the Phoenix needs to grow much more. What messes up is what the alien tell her about that "Force", that it could create life. But its unknown if its a lie, if the alien do know what Jean could do or if they assume that if Jean can hold it up, she must be powerful as a God. Its really not clear as when the aliens discuss between them, it seems they want to take the power out of Jean, no matter what she decides and the rest is just deception. I guess it would have helped to see the bird form clearer in some scenes, especially the intro. But iirc, in the comics she has both telekinetic power and Phoenix power at some point. So the movie doesn't split them either but tbh its a problem if you read the comics about the Phoenix Force. For someone who just watch the movies, it aint that much a big deal.
I do hope Sophie Turner gets second greenlight as Jean Grey by KEVIN FEIGE for the UPCOMING MCU PROJECT involving JEAN GREY character because she's the NEW GENERATION perfect fit since FAMKE JANSSEN is aging due to her age because I really wanna see that EPIC FIGHT BETWEEN JEAN GREY & SCARLET WITCH IN ANY FUTURE PROJECT because DARK PHOENIX isn't really horrible though it's JUST SUFFER FROM BAD WRITING & TOO RUSH FOR A CHARACTER ORIGIN MOVIE BUT WHO KNEW RIGHT THERE MIGHT BE ANOTHER X-MEN MOVIE IN THE WORKS RIGHT?I MEAN FEIGE DOES LOVE TO SURPRISE US 😌😌😌😏😏😏😆😆
Only if they did it in a TV series. It's too much story and character development for a single movie. No amount of action can realistically balance it out.

@@Ethan-hk8se We can infer that she used her original power (without the Phoenix force) to conjure a shield or protection against the radiation in space.
Here’s the reason why the Jean Grey/Dark Phoenix movies suck so hard. The Dark Phoenix is supposed to have a fuckton of lore behind it and every at Fox kept on fucking rushing the information and just throwing it together into one movie. She’s an avatar for a cosmic force that is both destruction and creation and we’re just gonna say “Oh Jean got hit with the Phoenix Force and now she’s bad. Oh wait now she’s good. Oh wait now she’s torn inside”…all in one movie. The Infinity Saga spanned 18 movies and we learned about so much. But we’re gonna put a cosmic force and try to explain it in one movie?
Before MCU it was completely normal to have 1 movie for a complicated story, you don’t need anything else to get the gist. The Last Stand and this works fine in context - Last Stand did not have cosmic, just her shattered mental state; and this explained it fine. The background lore doesn’t add much. It would be nice to have 1 more movie, like a 2 parter, but it’s all right. In a way, for Jean’s character it was a 2 parter. Both times Fox followed a similar trajectory - previous movie shows her latent potential (X2 & Apocalypse), and next one is the resolution (X3 & DP). Imo both movies are actually bad because of other factors like botched witting, etc, Jean’s character herself is mostly fine in both. And from a certain point of view, if you count the whole series, her character story is 5 movie long. In the Fox series she’s just 1 character out of the many anyway. And those 18 MCU movies weren’t some “epic saga” as much as it pretends to be. It was mostly just fillers and random stuff. Try to watch ALL movies from Iron Man to Endgame and you’ll see practically nothing matters. The “Marvel formula” was just a marketing gimmick by Disney, but a whole generation of audience mistook it as the only way to do these kind of stories.
It isn’t it’s the phoenix force. Or so we can think because it has all the abilities and is described the same way as the phoenix force although they called it an unknown pure and unimaginable powerful cosmic force that was the spark that gave life to the universe
I don't know if I want to absorb like jane grey or explode like lucy in 2014 movie but they both look like big O climaxes to me. Hope I never have to choose on these ends of the spectrum of evolving human beings. 😂
its not a sun flare, its the phoenix force. they made this film another origin story instead of carrying on from apocalpse so this is how she got the phoenix force. not sure why everyone thinks a sun flare would randomly be floating above earth with the sun nowhere in sight....pmsl.
This is carrying on from apocalypse though. The x men timeline for Apocalypse was set in 1983 (or smth like that) and dark Phoenix is 1992. In apocalypse that wasn’t even the phoenix force that was jeans telepathy at omega level releasing psionic energy which attracted the phoenix force to her from across the Galaxy which is seen in this scene. And it couldn’t be a origin story because at the end of this movie Jean evolved into the phoenix force.

Absolutely not. While the effects were great. The story was rushed and the inconsistencies of her "attaining" the PF. First, she unleashed its power during Apocalypse but she seemingly sealed the deal here? It doesn't explain anything and the progression of the movie was too fast. Where was the Phoenix and the story of Jean being mentally and physically manipulated to turn her into the Dark Phoenix and its eventual redemption? If Fox truly wanted to do something more interesting, they would have done something akin to the Avengers and let it truly be an epic saga of several movies.
@@WorldofIntenseArtie The story lacked some pace and character development on the part of the VUK, the aliens depicted from the comics in this film but seeing magteno actually take up a leading role was nice to see. was sick of them using his pain to motivate his actions.
@@WorldofIntenseArtieOk. I think op means it might not be great for its potential, but it’s not as bad people make it out to be for a single film on its own. I don’t find anything epic in Avengers, so this is all right for me.
Vaya absorción de entidad cosmica ❤❤❤❤❤
I wish there were more scenes with Jean and Scott
To all who is confused how Jean Grey is alive in Apocalypse and dead in Dark Phoenix is that When Wolverine came back from the past and changes the future it affect the storyline of Jean Grey.
Ps sorry for the Wrong grammar. English is not my language:)
O eso o la fuerza fenix la revivio
Recordar que por lo menos en los comics puede revivir a muertos
1:17 Ladies and gentlemen, we found the person who is on par with the Scarlet Witch.
Bro this movie came out earlier than Wandavision. So we actually found the person who is on par with Jean Grey
Jean is GOD! Wanda is only witch
This Jean, with the Dark Phoenix, is far beyond Wanda.
Indeed.and not to mention the comic book version - WPOTC is like 2nd only to the Marvel creator entity - The One above All
wanda even with darkhold can lay a finger on phoenix jean
The flaws of this scene, is that Kurt was with the astronaut helmet but without protective gloves, as well as Jean Grey, but in this case, she was without the helmet and without the gloves, once the ship was all broken. And even when the ship explodes, and kurt goes to get her, he is still without the gloves, certainly he would freeze under his clothes... Jean woudn't freeze because of the phoenix, it was protecting her I supose... Butttt, this is all what caused me a little bug... The rest I loved
it’s a film-
@@joetownsend7594 like it or not, this scene should make sense, because it’s the fucking spaceee.. the details makes all the difference!!
@@victorfantinato2266 Or lets talk about how we can hear her scream in space.
@@nandatou thats a good one too.. LMAO
Im obsessed this movie
ASÍ COMO JEAN OBTUVO SU PODER MÁS FUERTE NIVEL ALFA ❤❤❤❤❤😊
Ahh yes, Jean Gray, a human being, casually floating in outerspace without a helmet or a space suit and somehow not dying.
She had a telekinetic shield to protect but after she absorbed the cosmic force she really didn’t need it anymore
U sound kinda dumb ngl
@@vfxcreations4199 You make up any dumb explaination you want, this wasn't explained and the movie still sucks.
@@loloverlord1664 doesn’t need to be explained💀also the movie didn’t even suck
@@vfxcreations4199 Sure, the movie "doesn't even suck", that's why it was a huge success, the critics loved it and it didn't kill the franchise, I guess?
Is there a name for this soundtrack in the background???
"Gap" composed by Hans Zimmer
Also at this point: 1:35 there's "Dark", also by Hans Zimmer.
Ah yes, Charles leaves a mind block on a literal PRIMORDIAL AVATAR!
He had no idea what he was dealing with but still, what an utter embarrassment.
Ill admit, when I first heard that scream start around 1:14, I was like what? But then 1:18 came along and yikes I can imagine someone screaming like that if they are in the middle of burning (if we could hear a voice)...
I love how movie Jean's powers are portrayed more accurately rather than comics that made her dirty
Her hair didnt burn.
What about her clothes 😅😅
Did yall not see that her clothes were burnt and damaged and her hair is kind of what the force resides in. In the movie whenever she uses her powers her hair flows and ripples in the air slowly
I think the Phoenix was drawn to Jeans deep potential. That deep potential is what defeated Apocalypse. She was already extremely powerful. The phoenix just amplified her powers.
See what I wrote in reply to Phoenix flame... You're on the right track for sure.
That is not a sun or solar flare honey, its a cosmetic force travels the void and planets making them destroyed or made
0:49 to 2:04 thats how i feel when the delta 8 hits in 😎
Why is Mystique still there?
I assume just because its portrayed by Jennifer Lawrence... It doesn't make sense
Jennifer Lawrence sucked as Mystique
Okay so
Jean's power in Xmen apocalypse takes the form of a phoenix but it isn't the phoenix force
But in this movie, she redirects and absorbs a cosmic force that enchances her abilities
That's just the bare bones of it, but what I don't understand is how some think that this is the PF
At the end yes it takes the form of one but it only does after jean becomes one with it, and remember her powers already take the form OF a phoenix
Now that i think about it, there hasn't been a jean in the movies yet to outright HAVE the phoenix force
This movie comes close, but like apocalypse and last stand, it was all just jean
I wanna have her power. So powerful. 😅
you cant control it. its too much for you. you will be corrupted by it.
good luck handling the omniverse
A good inspiration for my 2 heroes to become villains
X-Men Dark Phoenix ♥️😊
I do hope Sophie Turner gets second greenlight as Jean Grey by KEVIN FEIGE for the UPCOMING MCU PROJECT involving JEAN GREY character because she's the NEW GENERATION perfect fit since FAMKE JANSSEN is aging due to her age because I really wanna see that EPIC FIGHT BETWEEN JEAN GREY & SCARLET WITCH IN ANY FUTURE PROJECT because DARK PHOENIX isn't really horrible though it's JUST SUFFER FROM BAD WRITING & TOO RUSH FOR A CHARACTER ORIGIN MOVIE BUT WHO KNEW RIGHT THERE MIGHT BE ANOTHER X-MEN MOVIE IN THE WORKS RIGHT?I MEAN FEIGE DOES LOVE TO SURPRISE US 😌😌😌😏😏😏😆😆
Marvel really needs to take over xmen because I know they would do a better job with the story line and not getting people confused
Only if they did it in a TV series. It's too much story and character development for a single movie. No amount of action can realistically balance it out.
El fénix como ikky de los caballeros del zodiaco carga sus energías en el fuego
If Jean grey ( aka Phoenix ) was able to absorb a flare from the sun what would happen if she was alive in the suns corona?
In the comics dark phoenix jean devoured a sun like ours. And the phoenix is the called the mother of stars. So suns ain’t anything to her lol
Phoenix is able to adapt to any atmosphere, so it will survive near the sun, in the core of a star, in space, anywhere.
Later in the movie Vuk explained that it wasn’t a solar flare but it was a unimaginable powerful cosmic force
That wasn't Phoenix, that wasn't absorbing, and that wasn't a sun flare. That was Jean Grey being imbued by the Phoenix force.
Phoenix is a nickname for Jean in this universe.
0:51 is that the same energy/force that gave the fantastic 4 powers?
No it’s the Phoenix Force
similar but it's not, the phoenix force is a cosmic entity that only comes to Earth attracted by Jean Gray (probably after her manifestation in X-Men Apocalypse) whereas the Fantastic Four just get caught in a spacial accident.
wait was this the same flare who created the fantastic 4 ? 👀
Too much drama in movies makes OP entities like Phoenix look weak.

With the Phoenix force
@@christianxavier5710 no, I meant before the Phoenix Force. When she’s repairing the shuttle she can breathe in space.
@@Ethan-hk8se We can infer that she used her original power (without the Phoenix force) to conjure a shield or protection against the radiation in space.

She used her abilities to make a telekinetic bubble around herself, maintaining normal AUs and oxygen
The Solar Flare...or Phoenix would be Christ energy in our world
So amazing.
That doesnt looked like a sun flare
It isn’t it’s the phoenix force. Or so we can think because it has all the abilities and is described the same way as the phoenix force although they called it an unknown pure and unimaginable powerful cosmic force that was the spark that gave life to the universe
It had no name in the movie but it’s exactly like the phoenix force besides the coloration of it in this movie so it probably is
I don't know if I want to absorb like jane grey or explode like lucy in 2014 movie but they both look like big O climaxes to me. Hope I never have to choose on these ends of the spectrum of evolving human beings. 😂
Here is Jean became the jinchuriki of phoenix
its not a sun flare, its the phoenix force. they made this film another origin story instead of carrying on from apocalpse so this is how she got the phoenix force. not sure why everyone thinks a sun flare would randomly be floating above earth with the sun nowhere in sight....pmsl.
Jean-Luc Grey
sun flare is completely made out of electric magma
It’s not a sun flare it was explained later in the movie that is was a pure and unimaginably powerful cosmic force (the Phoenix force)
This is not how Jean Gray becomes the dark Phoenix. The 90s animated series did a better job than this movie
