To carry such a powerful Daimon, truly takes a strong vessel. Everytime Jean let the Phoenix take over, it must of felt really good. Holding it back must of took an enormous amount of mental strength. No wonder she's such dualistic character between her light and dark sides. Constantly at odds with her two selves. Ultimately love is what prevails. Inspiring character. She's not given enough credit for the inner turmoil she has to endure. Her challenge, I believe is the reason she's so strong psychically. Having the powers of God (to create and destroy life, not to mention it just feels good to unleash that energy), not understanding them or being able to control them and still trying to do the right thing. Incredibly strong hearted character Jean Grey is.
The thing most people don’t know about Jean grey is two things-firstly even without the Phoenix jean grey has limitless telepathic and telekinetic abilities so even without the Phoenix she has no limits secondly she has fused with the Phoenix it’s literally apart of all of her and the cosmic entity death has stated those powers belong to her and she is the rightful owner.

@@MakeupbyRashee Scarlet Witch’s telepathy was always very basic (much like Dr. Strange or Thanos. They all have a little bit of telepathy). The best of Jean everytime she come back, she more fearless, dangerous and powerful than others. The more she got kill the more power she got. That is Phoenix Rising
The Phoenix is a god level being capable of destroying a star and wiping out entire star faring empires. It's immortal and essentially omnipotent. Many orders of magnitude more powerful than any of the film depictions.

@@duncanlush2613 There are plenty of beings that could potentially fight the phoenix. Even more so Jean while hosting only a small part of it. Although on earth perhaps only Dr.Strange/The Ancient one; could hoped to have stopped her; and a comics phoenix host is a totally different type of beast.. Excluding similar entities to it like Galactus... I'd imagine Odin in his prime may have been able to fend of a phoenix host. Thanos probably could too with a few gems in the gauntlet. The Celestials almost certainly could defend themselves from a host. Molecule Man would laugh at the cute birdy; then give his new pet lots of head pats. Sophie's acting and Hans Zimmer's score made the character very powerful and moving.
So, Famkes Phoenix Force and Sophie’s Phoenix force are technically the exact same entity as the Phoenix force is the same entity in all realities of the omniverse, both past, present, and future.

I wish someday we will get the white phoenix story line; rather than always making her out to be unable to control the force, i'd also like them to look into bringing in emma frost and having her around and someday "saving jean" from the force like she did in the comics by taking it in.
The Phoenix Force is one of the oldest known cosmic entities, representing life that has not yet been born, as well as the forces of creation and destruction. The Phoenix Force is said to predate darkness and is stated to be the fire from which all things were born. The Phoenix Force is an immortal, indestructible, and mutable manifestation of the prime universal force of life. Born of the void between states of being, the Phoenix Force is a child of the universe. It is the nexus of all psionic energy which does, has, and ever will exist in all realities of the Omniverse, the Guardian of Creation, and a de-facto guardian of the M'kraan Crystal. The Phoenix is among the most feared beings in the entire universe - having the power to cut and regrow any part of the universe, as well as destroy it entirely, which is part of the Phoenix's purpose: "The Judgement of the Phoenix": to burn away what doesn't work. Recent interventions of the Phoenix suggest that "what doesn't work" is what has become stagnant instead of naturally evolving. I believe this being is real, and we call it God.
Or, hear me out....its a comic book character made as a deus ex machina to cover plotholes that explicitly pop up without explanation, and this is the catchall
I still remember there is a deleted scene in X Men The Last Stand when Jean turned a cup to a nuclear blast in the forest. Did she use some kind of reality warping to do that thing?
Nope, we call it "matter manipulation" control any matter or energy on a subatomic level. She can change anything to anything, Rock to Gold, Water to energy, energy to nothingness..... rewrite the law of physics itself.

The last Xman was the closes they came to show their true powers, They still came up short. The Xmen are the greatest team in Marvel especially since Jean can do a telepathy lock between team members so they can coordinate doing combat. I hope they release the Xmen in the next movie. We should do a petition for that.
How could you leave out the phoenix in the water at alkali lake when she sacrificed herself?!? That was the most pivotal moment in Jean's story through the movies. Isn’t this girl literally the most powerful character in the entire marvel Comics? I feel like the live action movies have only shown 10% of her powers
It was blatant sexism from the writers. The original actress Famke Jansen was very vocal about her distaste for how they treated the female characters. Halle Berry threatened not to return for X-Men The Last Stand unless they gave her a lead role. Literally she had to threaten recasting just to get some significance in the third film as Storm. It’s so sad. 😢

Famke was...ferocious with her expressions and you could very easily tell what her Jean was trying to do with her mind in every given scene which is excellent acting on her part. I truly wished they would recast her for the Dark Phoenix stuff.
15:46 definitely my favourite part of dark phoenix 🤣. Jean was like "you want it? You got it!"
The most powerful queen ❤️😌💕
Period.
If she was in Star Wars, she would be the most powerful Force user in the galaxy.
Unlimited poweeeeerrrrrrrrr
The thing most people don’t know about Jean grey is two things-firstly even without the Phoenix jean grey has limitless telepathic and telekinetic abilities so even without the Phoenix she has no limits secondly she has fused with the Phoenix it’s literally apart of all of her and the cosmic entity death has stated those powers belong to her and she is the rightful owner.
Can you please Post this on every single video about Jean, X-Men, Comics, Phoenix, etc...
So that ppl finally understand!?!!!
I know I know, I'm kidding. But you understand what I mean (I think)
And yes, you're definitely right. 😉
People seems to forget that Jean is an omega telepath much more stronger than Xavier. Even without the Phoenix she would have shitted on everyone if she gets serious
scarlett witch also has these powers before mind stone
@@MakeupbyRashee Sorry but that's just not true.
@@MakeupbyRashee Scarlet Witch’s telepathy was always very basic (much like Dr. Strange or Thanos. They all have a little bit of telepathy). They’re nowhere near the levels of Psylocke, Emma, Xavier, Rachel, or Jean. Of course telepaths get nerfed all the time so there can be interesting stories (“they have psy shields on!”) but in terms of consistent feats those are the top five heroes.
Both versions of Jean Grey are so beautiful
Original cartoon Jean was more powerful than Thanos, all the Eternals, Wanda and the Phoenix Force put together. She just needed a bit more sleep and a coffee.
What cartoon???
Do you mean the show, if so then Definitely not.. there’s a whole compilation of Jean being useless in the show on RUclips, even when she HAD the phoenix force
I’m guessing you’re referring to the comics but even then
Without the phoenix force she doesn’t really stand a chance against wanda
(And this is all coming from a Jean Stan)
Poor Jean, she was always too powerful. Always so troubled trying to control her power. No wonder it took over in the end 😢 Underneath it all, she was good/kind. So sensitive to everything around her. ❤
Jean Grey is the most powerful character in MCU, stronger than all of them put together
When she's using most of it yes.
But, that's also when she's got the least control. It's a big risk when that happens. Either when she's trying to hold back, or when she's embracing it.

The Phoenix is a god level being capable of destroying a star and wiping out entire star faring empires. It's immortal and essentially omnipotent. Many orders of magnitude more powerful than any of the film depictions.
its above god level lol, as I see marvel universe, there is nothing stronger than Phoenix, at least as I know it has a potential to become the strongest being
It's way more than that, the phoenix in it's full realm transcend all of creating and even the beyond realm which in turn transcends all Creation
@@duncanlush2613 There are plenty of beings that could potentially fight the phoenix. Even more so Jean while hosting only a small part of it. The actual phoenix force is a cosmic entity representing Life & Rebirth throughout the marvel multiverse. There's absolutely no chance for Jean to contain that power in completeness; nor could Xavier even hope to seal it away.
Dr. Doom could theoretically have a shot at a phoenix host; if he's actually aware of it's existence before hand.
@@laughingman2082 True, when Cyclops became Phoenix during Battle of the Atom (maybe? So many events lol) God Doom broke his neck in an instant. I love Jean/Phoenix but there are so many people that just don't know the (admittedly ever-changing) lore and just make stuff up.

Sophie Turner put on an acting clinic as Jean Grey the Dark Phoenix. That's one reason that Dark Phoenix, along with Frozen II and Multiverse of Madness, are the favorite films I've seen in the cinema since I moved to Eugene. Sophie's acting and Hans Zimmer's score made the character very powerful and moving.
So, Famkes Phoenix Force and Sophie’s Phoenix force are technically the exact same entity as the Phoenix force is the same entity in all realities of the omniverse, both past, present, and future.
En teoría sí.
Nope they aren't, White Phoenix of the crown is the one has control over the totality of the force, each universe has its own fraction of Phoenix so the storyline maybe similar but the reality is vary from one and another.

「私の唯一の願いは、女神が勝つことです」とミルナー・ベネディクト III は言います。
This is the best description of the Phoenix I've ever read, and its so true!
Wouldn't God be The One Above All?

I still remember there is a deleted scene in X Men The Last Stand when Jean turned a cup to a nuclear blast in the forest. Did she use some kind of reality warping to do that thing?
No she used Molecular Reconstruction
Nope, we call it "matter manipulation" control any matter or energy on a subatomic level. She can change anything to anything, Rock to Gold, Water to energy, energy to nothingness..... rewrite the law of physics itself.

The last Xman was the closes they came to show their true powers, They still came up short. The Xmen are the greatest team in Marvel especially since Jean can do a telepathy lock between team members so they can coordinate doing combat. I hope they release the Xmen in the next movie. We should do a petition for that.
I just love the "Get out of my head scene"
How could you leave out the phoenix in the water at alkali lake when she sacrificed herself?!? That was the most pivotal moment in Jean's story through the movies. We didn't know she would survive and raise again from from the ashes as the phoenix. It was the first time you know she was more than everyone else.
she is born it the connection of the phoenix, phoenix can make her a host in near-death experience

It'd be cool and hilarious if Phoenix returns in Deadpool 3, just so they can establish a duel between the two would end in a stalemate
Famke will always be my Jean. She showed the vulnerable side, the dangerous side and the normal, composed side of Jean so well. Sophie tried hard but I just couldn't see Jean in her. Famke was...ferocious with her expressions and you could very easily tell what her Jean was trying to do with her mind in every given scene which is excellent acting on her part. I truly wished they would recast her for the Dark Phoenix stuff. All we got to see was the Last Stand which, even though was an objectively bad and stupid movie plotwise, had some good scenes showing the Phoenix power, especially her face off with the professor who is the most powerful telepathic in the world.
Man, I had SUCH a crush on Jean Grey (Famke Janssen) as a teen. What a time to be alive!
I get so excited to this kind of scenes, that I cry. I'm so emotional 🤩🥲🥲
i like how in apocalypse and dark pheonix, jeans powers have an auditory queue associated with them, that high pitched whistle, lets you know that shes using her powers
The scene where she shreds the trees, none of those people would be alive, those trees were essentially hit with the force of a thermalbaric wave which is the shockwave created from nuclear blasts, albeit not a really big one. Definitely a cool display of power
russian military uses thermobaric weapons..its not necessarily supposed to be nuclear cause... "TOS-1A" for example... missile does 2 explosions... 1st one spreads the cloud of gas...2nd one ignites it.. this creates an area of vacuum... impossible to hide from that stuff... soldiers lungs get turned out ...eyes pop... ears ... no jokes...

Famke made you feel the power even if the last movie plot was butchered. Bring her back!!! Also, with they had done the Dark Phoenix storyline the same justice Wanda / Scarlet Witch got.
