  • Thank you for joining us on a new adventure.
When you’re planning a trip into Europe, you probably plan to fly. And most times, we’d agree. But we wanted to try something different. On this adventure, we’re taking a plane to a bus, then getting on a train, which will take us into the Schengen EU.
Plus, we arrive in a popular city and get to explore it before anyone is even awake to see it. Here are our first impressions of Brugge, Belgium.

You should have gone upstairs in Victoria train station. Sainsbury's is the place to go!

That sounds like a bit of an ordeal.
Yould be better off flying direct from Dublin to Brussels and then getting a local train (30 mins or so) to Bruges.
Yould be there in two hours and a bit, from Dublin.

True, but then we'd miss the tunnel.

I am watching the start of this when you are in Dublin Airport, being that you are already in an EU member country I don't understand why you are flying to London instead of just going from Dublin to another European destination, I just find it odd that you are making such a complex travel arrangement to leave an EU country just to re-enter the EU again.

Exactly! There are new ferries lines to France and Belgium one can use too.

The point was to show the tunnel, but since we aren't driving, taking a midnight bus was the best way for us.
