We have always had early bedtimes for our kids since they were little, so my husband and I can have a bit of time to ourselves to catch up and decompress before going to bed. One of the best parenting decisions we ever made! 👍🏻

My family came from Ohio 5 weeks ago and we stayed at this same cabin! We’d outgrown the other one we used to go to. We loved it even though it rained almost all day Saturday and Sunday. At least we had lots of space to spread out in!

I'm 49 seconds in and this is my dream life/home! Oh my gosh so serene. Glad you guys got to relax and eat, celebrate, fellowship. What a beautiful place.
Time with the hubby...so hard! Our daughter needs care just about 24/7 so there is little to NO alone time. We keep communications open by texting and private messaging on facebook. There are times that we go out to the garage to have 10 minutes (usually less) of conversation, especially if we need to make important parenting or medical decisions on her behalf. We are blessed to have a friend who will have her overnight from time to time and that is when we spend quality time together. And truth be told, sometimes we just nap on the couch...we are tired! Ha ha. You figure it out. The key is communication!
If you could add a whole month at a glance that spanned over two pages for each month, I would buy your planner in a heartbeat! Great layout otherwise. Always love your reset videos! God bless!

A mile in a bit over 8 minutes is a good pace! Congrats! I would recommend running longer runs and building strength before trying to cut down time to reduce risk of injury.

When my children were little, the only way my husband and I could spend time together as 2 adults was to put it in the schedule. We had a Friday night sitter at 5:30, and it was off to dinner. Occasionally we went to a movie, but usually went for a walk in a nature area, or a drive, or wander through a bookstore, or whatever. It kept us sane, and I loved the break from cooking. The kids are grown and gone, so we have all the adult time we want, but we still go out to dinner on Friday :)

I so appreciated that your planner is REASONABLY PRICED! I cant tell you how many planners that I have looked at in the past couple of weeks that have been between $30 and $50+!!! One of the was $100! It's crazy and I refuse to pay that! I love your simple format. The only thing I would add would be 12 blank month pages at the beginning of the planner so we could have that. I dont mean that as a dig though. It is a wonderful planner! Thank you!
This is what I need, I try and try and try. And never stick wit it , I need to get on a good planner and something that is easy and not so complicated
I find your channel inspirational and I love the outdoor videos of Pennsylvania! I miss visiting Pennsylvania especially Lancaster, The Hershey Farm restaurant and Sight and Sound theater. Every summer my father would take us to visit PA where he grew up. He was Pennsylvania Dutch and had brothers and their families still living there. We are leaving NY so it's a toss up between Pennsylvania or New Hampshire. I try to make Shoo fly pies twice a year and Amish recipes. So many family members buried in PA. My father's ancestors came over on the Neptune in 1752. Settled in Cumberland valley. Love your channel ❤️

OK I'm just starting the video & I'm praying Megan is going to take our advice & not interrupt Josh LOL. So far so go good Megan.
I don't really rest on vacations. 🤣 I always take food to cook or warm up to cut spending and complaining or that " what are we eating?🤷♀️". Basically, its just regular life in a different location for me.
That being said.... I have set up a course of action that allows me to truly rest and relax when it return home.
1. i prep at least 2 meals to use on the first 2 days home.
2. i wash all the laundry while on vacation. Never return home with dirty laundry. Furthermore, i catch up the laundry before we leave. which means i can squeak by with 2 days of no laundry once home.
3. I deep clean the whole house and often the car/van before we leave. I make it a point to NOT do house work for at least a day.
I know it seems backwards, but it actually works well.
living on calendar pages . . . that place is amazing • just love (extended) family vacations

I disagree, you are inspirational. You do so many things. You are so busy and your a wife. A mom of 3, a dog mom. You do alot. I have no kids and I look to you, not as anything but inspiration. You make me think of how much you get accomplished in a day and I'm over here with a boyfriend and a dog. That's it. Give yourself more credit because you are doing it girl, I know it's not as easy as it looks but you definitely give off a homey, not easy but comfortable vibe. That's why we all watch.
