Something that my Pastor said during our pre marital conseling I will never forget and have referred to many times in our 38 year marriage...Marriage isn't 50/50. Sometimes you can't give 50 and the other person needs to pick up on it and do more. So true.
"...and then 8:00 bedtime." I laughed so hard. That's my hubby all the way! I loved your comment on your whole life not being our business. Boundaries are right! You both are so wise even if you don't feel like you are. I'm 12 years older than you and I am learning stuff from you. Thanks so much for sharing with us. Have a Merry Christmas!
I became disabled march 23 2011. Thru my daughter going to vacation bible school a Mennonite church took us and helped. My daughter and I found Jesus got baptized together. With me going thru so many surgeries they all took my daughter and treated her like part of family. I was a single mom and father was absent but she had some male role models thru church. It’s been a long difficult road but what a blessing to learn about Jesus and be baptized with my daughter. Have a blessed holiday season.
I love Josh’s ideas about leading and opinions. The heart posture is so important when interacting with others about opinions and how to lead in a way that is pleasing to God!
This was so fun, Megan and Josh! Thanks for taking the time to chat…I felt like I knew a lot about Mennonites, but I learned something new. 😊 One thing I’ve always appreciated and noticed about your culture is the community and support you all have for each other, and it’s beautiful! ❤️
I just loved listening to Josh. He has deep thoughts and wants to please the Lord. I loved that he mentioned talking to his Dad about something. Love the Q and A's.
I love that Josh is asking an important question about leadership from the home to leadership of country. How to be leader without hubris or arrogance but with humility. That is a good question for the whole world. I love this video. Being a Mennonite from I’ve seen is such a unique culture and I would be arrogant to tell you what you are doing is wrong. I actually live in Pittsburgh so we are not far apart but I live near the city and I don’t go to church and don’t have a community like you do. So I appreciate that you give us insight into your life. Anyways, have a blessed day.
Its nice seeing mature married young adults together and getting a chance to see a little into their lives. I'll be 31 soon and I've never had a boyfriend. It's rare for me to see what I feel relationships should somewhat look like even when I see christian couples. It realy is a beautiful thing what you two have.
One thing my pastor always says is "be authentic with everyone, but establish thr boundaries that you'll be transparent with few." I think this goes along with your last topic, in my opinion it's healthy to not let everyone know everything! There's no need in it!
You two are beautiful because you are humble, honest, and loving to each other (and us) by sharing your life on this deep level. You encourage me and others to find the right one, have those kids, and raise them right by walking like Jesus. Thank you!
Thanks for having Q & A's. I love hearing from other perspectives. Please keep having these kinds of videos. As a 41 year Christian wife/mother I believe we are continually growing and learning our WHOLE lives. The wisdom I have now is greater than in the past, and I'm so grateful for God's continual growth in me.
Megan and Josh, this is the best Q&A you’ve ever done!!!! The audio was great and you appeared really comfortable while answering the questions 😊 I wish you many years of love and happiness oh and lots of 8pm bedtimes too 😂❣️
The audio is nice and crisp, through both my phone speakers and earphones - had no issues. And wow, people are incredibly nosey with some of these questions 😂 but I did enjoy listening to how you’ve responded to them. Thank you for addressing how to keep the marriage ‘spicy’ as even without kids, things can get really stale if we don’t actively work on prioritizing that often enough. I like both of your approaches to life and feel inspired. I love how organized and driven you are, Megan and how Josh is super thoughtful with his responses. You guys are a fun couple. Also, Happy birthday Megan! They do say 30s is the new 20s!
You guys are young enough to be my kids & you inspire me & have taught me so much! You are walking well in the will of God & have achieved much to be proud of! Just keep doing what you are doing, listening to Him & you will have continued success. Your children are blessed to be raised by such wise, hard-working, loving, Godly parents! And I super enjoyed this format. Would love to see this regularly! God bless y'all!!!
Josh is so pragmatic. I love seeing you together and love seeing him in videos! I also loved his nervous little laugh after the "new baby soon" question
I think you too have so much wisdom at a young age. I totally encourage my children to go on dates and weekend trips. I enjoy watching my grandchildren and I know it’s very healthy for young parents to have time for one another. The greatest thing you both have is Christ in your life. Thank you both sharing.
Loved to hear you both and your opinions on the matters you spoke on. I hope you both will consider talking together more often. I love to hear all about your morals and your life following the Lord. I admire that. I wish more people had your values and love for others. I pray you both, and your precious little ones, have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! ❤️
I know money can make many uncomfortable, but I think it’s great to see a young couple who are making responsible decisions and being smart with your money. It can be motivating to others.
I’m nearly 10 years older than you, but I honestly look up to you. You are so down to earth, relatable, wholesome and you’re one of 3 channels I come to for motivation and homemaking ideas. I know you’re anxious about turning 30, but my 30s have been so much more fun than my 20s were. Enjoy them and know you’re exactly where you need to be. Merry Christmas! ❤
I enjoy all of your videos but I needed this chit chatty one tonight. It felt like I was having a chat with friends. It’s nice when Josh is in the video because I feel like we get to hear the “other side” of marriage and parenting. My husband isn’t a passionate talker. He says enough to answer but there’s not a lot of mystery in the day to day. 😅
Josh is definitely a keeper. Wow! He was definitely raised right. I wish he could mentor my husband who is double his age (62)! Thank you both for your insight and candor.
This was great!! It’s wonderful to see you two laughing together. Keep on keeping on. You are doing a great job. 24 years of marriage is better than ever. And, Josh, the mics are great!! 👍🏻👍🏻
You made me smile, thank you. You are really a team. Josh, I like your thinking about leadership and don't think there is a real answer, cause as different as we humans are, so are the managing styles. But being a thoughtful and fair leader should be something to aspire to.
Love all your advice. You are great examples of how to be considerate and listen to each other. I’ve been married for 48 years and love to see how you’re both working together on your life’s journey. I’ve been happily married but there are always challenges along the way. It’s how you deal with them is the important thing. I’m sure Your Q and A’s are definitely helping others. Love Josh’s calmness. 🙂
Just wanted to say you guys are doing a great job! You inspire me to give more to the Lord, a bigger focus in my life and home and to bring more kindness and love to my husband family and home. You are a wonderful beautiful couple so thank you and Merry Christmas.
I am 69 years old (almost 70) and tell people all the time (especially my 4 grown kids) that my 30's were the best and that I felt like I could move the world. It was like the Lord shored up my strength during that time because three major things happened to me in my 40's which were totally out of my control (my health, one of my children, and my marriage) and my relationship with the Lord as well as that stored up strength with which He blessed me got me through it--just like the Psalm says. He doesn't take those hard times away, but He walks with you through them. You just have to hang on to that truth and live what you believe even in the midst! I love watching your videos and the loving and respectful relationship you have with each other and your children. You two live the values you want your children to learn and that is so important! May God continue to bless you and keep you and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
I'm 72 and totally agree. If I could be any age forever, I would want to be 35. You're finally over the "exaggerated audience"of teens and twenties when you feel everyone is judging you and come into your own. You realize being you......is enough. I'd also been a mother and wife long enough to not put so much pressure on myself.
Aww you guys are such a wonderful example of a married couple ❤ I didn’t get to see that much with my parents, so I love having a godly couple to look up to! I’ve been married for a year and a half, and have a 7 month old daughter so your content is just the best for me right now! You guys answered my question!! 🥰🥰🥰 thanks so much for sharing your wisdom! 🙏🏻 also wanted to let you know that I ordered from you guys and when a mistake was made about the item I ordered being out of stock, you guys handled it so well and so thoughtfully. Can’t wait to order again soon! 💕
You two do a phenomenal job on videos. Great Q&A. With age comes wisdom. It's truly a beautiful life when you're walking with the Lord. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you Josh and Megan for being so open in sharing tonight.Josh, you are like a river that runs deep. You ponder things in your mind and heart which shows leadership. Totally agree weekends away without children is a marriage builder. Also, it would be wonderful for couples to sit down and have a discussion be on some of these questions and truly hear each other. For example Josh saying " On a bad day, I just need you to be near me and words of affirmation. Megan said " I need a hug (closeness) Agreed a bubble bath helps too So often we give from what we need rather than from what the other person needs. Keep up the great ministry of sharing on this vlog.
Never dye your gray hair, you have worked so hard to earn those, and are blessed to have lived to be old enough to have them! Same with stretch marks, they are beautiful! And you have the gifts to prove it! God bless y’all! Much love from East Tennessee!
I felt the same growing up. Until I went 50% gray by 28 years old. I feel like the age for graying starts for most people around 40. I do feel that gray means wisdom and hard work.
@@jeffslavick9417 Absolutely! You have earned everyone of those gray hairs, and blessed to have lived long enough to have them! Now let’s get ready for the white hair, we know we have made it, to a long, awesome life! I’m sure some would love to have gray, or white hair, as long as they are healthy and well, it’s a blessing for sure!
I think Josh' considerations are the considerations of a leader that takes his responsibility serious. Personally I have learned that most people don't mind getting smarter or getting educated on the subject, but if you want them to listen to your opinion you have to listen to their arguments and reasoning first. Then they will be open to seeing things in a different way. It is amazing how easy it can be to convince people to change a standpoint if you take the time to listen to their reasoning first. Really take the time. Often they have valid points but if they are wrong it is often due to a minor misunderstanding or something they didn't consider. Also don't expect people to tell you when they have changed their viewpoint. Most people won't :-)
I love these Q&A's with Josh. I'm praying about being more of a good steward with my finances this upcoming year. Love how your faith is so important to you both. As the world spirals more into the dark side of things,it's encouraging to see you living out your faith in your marriage and family...😊💖
You two are so lovely, sweet, and it’s easy to see that you love each other so much! You are both concerned for each other and that’s wonderful! You both work really hard and take good care of your family! Some day you will both have a lot more time for each other, so look forward to that. In the meantime you have beautiful children to love and you both love them so much! That’s wonderful! You keep your lovely family going and you keep God in charge of what you do, which is absolutely special and very necessary! Love you both!
I love these videos... and fun to see your points of views on things. I got married at 18, and now 39 yrs later.... we are still learning about each other, as we are both constantly changing thru different stages of life. We revolve, grow, etc. You just do your best, and always have respect! Greetings from Northern Minnesota.
My daughter just got me a Fanny pack . It fits over one shoulder to the other side at waist. I can now listen to my Megan videos hands free. It actually sounds like it’s on speaker in the leather casting. Hands free all day yes!!! Yea talk to your parents as much as you can they can give good advise. Like my parents you’ll miss when they pass away. But memories last for ever.
Our church supports one another. They literally carried us financially when my hubby couldn't work for several months, a family of 7. We are an independent Bible Church. Love that the Mennonites help each other as well. ❤️
I really enjoyed your discussion tonight. We have been married forty nine years with tons of ups and downs.... but I always remind ourselves how far we have come in our lives... how proud we are of our children, grandchildren, and our new great grandchild. It's the little things that add up to a great marriage... You are a beautiful couple with gorgeous children. Enjoy every moment!!
Great discussion, thanks guys. Josh I particularly liked what you said about leaders and being humble. It really resonated with a situation for me at the moment. Thank you 🙏
The sound quality is excellent and great topics. You had excellent responses. I'm 76 and we all wing it and wonder how we get to where we get in life! Life happens and we respond according to our best belief systems at hand. I always go with my Christianity and take the route I believe God would take or have me take considering my beliefs in His words. You two do very well together. You are both spunky and attractive with beautiful children and are genuinely yourselves. I have watched since you started and I have seen both of you grow and broaden your ideas and styles of handling things. I think God has blessed you greatly and you indeed were both meant to be parents as we can see it in your children. Absolutely the best blessings in the world.........and they are lucky to have to amazing parents who figure it out and balance each other out! Have a Blessed Holy Day of Christmas and Happy New Year!
Your words used with each other the first few minutes in the door in the evening, are also good applied to our children when they come home from school or work. I tried to keep that in mind with both my husband and son.
I listened to this video while working today, thanks for the uplifting conversation! Fun to hear your perspectives as a couple and think about how it applies to my own marriage and family.
You two are a lovely, authentic couple! The audio sounds great 👍 I thoroughly enjoyed your sense of humors and the way you respectfully communicate with each other. Blessings to you both and your beautiful children! ❤
I don't comment very often, however I just had to say that I really loved this chat with the two of you today. I felt I learnt alot more about your culture, which I find fascinating, as we don't have such diversity in out religious in Scotland. Love you two ❤
My son is 31 and also a Josh so I love your Josh’ s inputs. Leadership really comes from a sacrificial heart- that’s how men lead their families well. So with leadership in churches and governing structures it should also be about what is best for our body of believers or our community or country and what are the leaders willing to sacrifice for the sake of others- unfortunately corruption is in the heart of men without God so there is a brokenness only God can fix. The way we deal with conflict is to reason together. Hash things out without contempt, learn to listen and then if we still disagree- go to the Word and find wisdom from the scriptures. If leaders value their people, they will value their input. We are all learning, all the time. Long ramble just to say you two are so sweet and definitely better together🌺
I think that you 2 just sitting and talking is the answer to getting through marriage. Always remember it started with you 2 and after the kids are grown you have to have communication between you through the years to make it work and last. I believe your doing great. Keep those dates together on the calendar. Blessings.
As a retired accountant, I would never ask about someone’s finances. That is your business. My first impression is that you manage your finances well. As Christians you manage your life well and that includes finances.
unfortunately, IMO, it is social media -- some people feel the need to share everything (too much, IMO) and because they do -- subscribers think everyone should and that , once you have a channel, you lose all your privacy... Agreed -- it is rude to ask this question.
Great “ponder” by Josh. It’s an important thing to consider. Maybe say, “I hear you, and I respect you. I disagree.” I always tell my team, never say “but.” This makes people feel heard and understood and will prompt to at least listen to a different side.
I loved this video! Josh you might be right about asking your dad about some of this stuff, each generation has dealt with similar leadership issues. Unfortunately with all the "progress" in the world they won't go away. I'd say you show signs of being a good leader.
You guys are so cute❤️You all seem to care a lot about each other and have a great marriage. I wish I had videos like this when I was younger in my marriage. Been married 45yrs and we are probably the happiest we’ve ever been as a married couple.
I am not Christian but I like to watch your videos and learn more, I am curious about how different people live their lives and how they perceive the world. I just have to say that a prejudice I may have picked up from people that are atheist is that Christians, especially those more extreme Christians (we have the Swedish church here in Sweden that are very open, so in comparison to that you are more extreme) is that they always think that they are right and trying to stuff that down all others throats. So I was so glad and impressed with Josh's thought about leadership and that he several times speaks about how to have loveling meet others with other options and still see them even if you think that they are wrong. Exactly that I do believe in that we need more in the world. So thank you for smashing some prejudices, that is always so refreshing! And I would love to heare more of that thoughts. Merry Christmas!
Hi Megan, my life could not be more different than yours - I'm not Christian, I'm single, in my forties and have no kids but I just love your channel! I've been watching for a few years now and your positive approach to life always makes my day feel better. I really enjoyed hearing you and Josh chat about your life together. Thanks for another great video!
Prioritize those date trips! They are totally worth the money spent. Consider it an investment in your marriage! We've been married 19 years and have 5 children. We love to do overnight trips with no children and on returning from our last trip our daughter said " Wow! You guys look so relaxed!" So it really pays off! You really do come home feeling like a new person! God bless you all!
I will never forget something I heard in a podcast years ago called affair proofing your marriage and he was talking about this idea of spending money on your marriage like the getaways you were talking about. He said people that are having affairs spend money on each other. Gifts, fancy dinners, hotel stays, etc. We should be willing to spend that on our marriage and I am amazed at how many couples never get away together. It does get hard for people that don't have family around or for us, mom never felt like she could handle things when we had 8 kids. But we found a friend at church who was single and loved our kids like they were her own nieces and nephews and she watched them many times for us. Such a blessing.
The mics sounded really great! Nice work, Josh. Thanks for a great little podcast / chat. Would love to hear sometime about your kids bedtime routines or morning routines with three Littles. Have a very Merry Christmas! Megan, you do such an amazing job with your channel and raising your family. An inspiration and witness to others for sure. Keep it up. Praying for you and your family.
I like the way Josh thinks. I have a new respect for him. He's a stand up guy.
I agree!

I really admire Josh. Strong masculine and smart America needs courageous thoughtful masculine men like your husband 👍❤️🙏
I really feel like Josh showed more of himself in this video. It was really nice to get to see that!
Josh is so humble and that is a sign of a great leader
Something that my Pastor said during our pre marital conseling I will never forget and have referred to many times in our 38 year marriage...Marriage isn't 50/50. Sometimes you can't give 50 and the other person needs to pick up on it and do more. So true.

One of the loveliest things on your channel is the glimpses I see of your your marriage relationship. Thank you for including that.
Josh is a strong leader . Y’all are blessed
I had a good laugh at Josh saying, "Life is still spicy sometimes." I think this is my new favorite saying 🤠
I love Josh’s ideas about leading and opinions. The heart posture is so important when interacting with others about opinions and how to lead in a way that is pleasing to God!

This was great! Thank you for sharing. Did laugh out loud when Josh said "...and 8 o'clock bedtimes." HAHA Have a great day everyone!
Megan said " I need a hug (closeness) Agreed a bubble bath helps too
So often we give from what we need rather than from what the other person needs.
Josh is great ❤ I appreciate his perspective and the simple ways he shows how his faith is the primary leader in his life.
I enjoyed this one with Josh. He seemed way more comfortable and y’all’s chemistry was really sweet.❤
8 o’clock bed times fix every single one of my husbands problems 😂😂😂 him taking time to chat and connect and dream, fix mine 🥰
haha! Why are guys so basic and simple!? Gotta love it!
Loved this episode! Thanks for the glimpse into your lives, beliefs, and experiences 😊
I love these videos... and fun to see your points of views on things. I got married at 18, and now 39 yrs later.... we are still learning about each other, as we are both constantly changing thru different stages of life. We revolve, grow, etc. You just do your best, and always have respect! Greetings from Northern Minnesota.
Love this! I like hearing these real conversations and learning new perspectives that I may want to adopt.
I think Josh is a great leader. I totally agree about teamwork and humility. You guys are a great team.
That's smart!!
What a beautiful couple. I love seeing your great chemistry. I loved this Q and A
I loved this one! ❤️ I think the two of you make a great team!
Our church supports one another. They literally carried us financially when my hubby couldn't work for several months, a family of 7. We are an independent Bible Church. Love that the Mennonites help each other as well. ❤️
That's what churches and people should do help one another if you can.
Our church doesnt
@@patriciajoyner9871 What denomination? I'm sorry to hear that. If it's a small church with not much money, then I can understand that.
Really sounds like you two are growing closer together each year. Happy for you!
Love you all so much! You are doing amazing! You are wise in your young age. Love how you guys keep close to your family and support from your church.
One of my favorite videos you two are wonderful together an inspiration for young married couples!!
You two are the cutest. I love watching your videos. Do you ever get angry or upset?
Otter box has a clear glitter case!!! It’s soooooo cuuuuuuuuute!!!!
Thanks Megan & Josh! The respect you guys have for one another is awesome. Love your honesty and humor 😅
Soooo much fun!!! Merry Christmas 🎄 x Really enjoyed having Josh involved
Jennifer, come to Jesus. You won’t regret it! He is a wonderful companion and Savior. You will never be alone!
What a wonderful treat!!!!! I love you guys! Can’t wait to watch while my toddler naps -i need some encouragement today!💖🙏
8 o’clock bedtime… 😂 That might have to be our new code word when the kids are around. Great video.
Loved Loved this Q & A you two are such great examples. God Bless you and your family.
This was great! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing with us!
You two should work on this kind of videos once a month. It was so good! Thank you Josh and Megan!
I love seeing the dynamic you both have together. Such a lovely couple!!
I adore you guys. We have different backgrounds but I feel so empowered listening to you guys talk about your beliefs and morals. Happy holidays ❤
Love when you two chat together, Josh makes me laugh so much.
I could listen to you guys all night! Love this! - Katie
I LOVE HOW CONFIDENT AND FUN YOU GUYS ARE!
