...A direct result of the original Wizard of Oz film writers combining the book's two "good" witches into just one. That creates the problem of Glinda knowing the power of the ruby shoes all along...and yet choosing NOT to inform Dorothy up front. In the books, Glinda of the South doesn't appear until the very end, so the information isn't available for plot manipulation in the same manner.
I think she starts that way but develops overtime and realizes her actions have consequences and she doesn’t realize she hurts the people she cares about
It's kind of hard *not* to see Wizard of Oz Glinda as a villain. She forces Dorothy onto a dangerous and completely unnecessary mercenary mission, all in the name of teaching her a "valuable life lesson." Then finally shows her how to get home, after Dorothy did the dirty work of killing or banishing all of Glinda's political rivals.
I have a friend who is exactly like Glinda from the film through and through and through so in a way I understand where her character is coming from even through its not the best of intentions. There is a phycological reason behind every action and choice made
Ok, Morrible did have magic she did mention that weather magic was her speciality. Regarding Glinda or Galinda as the movie started with. Well telling the story I think she did carry the guilt so to speak, a villager after all did ask the question "Where you friends with the Wicked Witch?" The obvious answer is yes. Not at first though. Regarding whether Glinda or Galinda would face the wizard, don't know, perhaps people who attended the theatre play can answer that. But movies being movies creators and directors can take this to a new level, we'll never know until the part 2 of Wicked Movie comes out.
There’s been theories about Glinda being the bad one way before wicked was a thing

Glinda is the real wicked witch hiding in her beautiful face

My favorite moment would have to be Agatha and the coven singing the ballad of the witches road

Morrible possesses weather magic and its a tornado that ultimately brings the wicked witch's death. A bit convenient
The wizard created Elpbaba on purpose?!
there's still hope for Glinda
my question is if madame morible is a mix of human and ozians due to her magic
Quite a few spoilers.
