- Surprise! Morgan Wallen is a dad. The country singer announced the arrival of his first child, a son, on Monday night (July 13), via Instagram.
Indigo "Indie" Wilder was born on Friday (July 10), his father shares; according to an Instagram post from his mom, Katie Smith, he was born weighing 6 lbs., 13 oz.

"Little Wilder, I’m a changed man. Since you came into the world Friday, I see mine differently now. It’s not just me anymore, and I’m glad it’s not," Wallen writes in sharing the news with fans. I follow both Morgan and Katie on Instagram and I just think this title and video is a little offensive and definitely doesn’t give her enough credit! Morgan is involved, but Indie is with Katie every single day. She’s a single mom and “birth mother” makes it sound like she gave birth to Indie and gave him to someone else. As a mom, I definitely would not have liked it, and she’s expressed that it is hard getting comments referring to her as “baby momma.”

They were engaged then they split a while back. I heard she found out she was pregnant after they split. I also heard they were going to breakup, things were getting rocky, then she found out she was pregnant so they decided to split up but keep the baby. Idk which of those or if either of those are true however.

Wow, he is so proud? You young kids think just having a baby instantly makes you a dad. Being a dad takes years of being there for your kids, that starts by giving your children your last name. I'm a father of 6 grandfather of 6 I was married at18 father at 20.
morgan wallen apparently has only seen his child a few times in the entirety of his sons short life and isn’t on talking terms with his son’s mother according to her social media. gives me flashbacks to my own upbringing with my dad popping in every now and again claiming he was my father and I should love him just because I was unlucky enough to be his daughter.
He does a lot of talking but I will be a lot more impressed when he learns to be a grown up!

A good parent wakes up from their self centered life and says what Morgan Did. I partied hard from 14 to my 30s. Then my kids came. Some parents step up to the plate some fall or run.... Lots of good times but it's hard as hell.... When they hit 3-5 and you realize what you do they imulate and when they go somewhere with someone else, school, friends, grand parents house, how they act represents how good of a parent you've been so far.... Keep that in mind. And if you had shitty parents break the cycle and be everything to them yours never were to you....
