    I finally had a chance to board one operated by Japan Airlines for its domestic flight Yamagata to Haneda.. very impressed with its stability and power. Well done Scoot for opening your option for this plane.

    Love flying on Embraer planes! Too bad scope clauses here in the USA limit their use.

    Sibu Airport has a 2,750m runway and there are daily A320 and B737 flights. What do you mean too small? 1:07

    interesting for using embraer
    why not using airbus a220-100 same capacity and fewer logistic headache since already with airbus product is SIA?
    maybe airbus a220-100 more expensive?

      A220 hundreds of backlog order.
      E190-E2, don’t need wait.

      A220 has a long order, E2 will arrive quicker and it’s more efficient

    • @keisuke5468
      @keisuke5468 3 месяца назад +6

      A220 is originally a Bombardier plane. Airbus just bought the product from them. It is a completely different product from Airbus products with no similarities. Getting an E2 is just as costly as getting an A220.
      Plus, a220-100 is still larger than 190 E2. a220-100 is same as 195 E2. Scoot doesn’t needs that much capacity.

      E2 is 2x more efficient and economical than the a220

    So will the air ticket price for the E2 route being cut to a fair price for consumer as the plane is getting smaller & carry less passenger

    is weird when saying those airport are too small for larger plan when MAS and other carrier to those airport use 737 or a320

    • @pinrenng8162

      Aircraft type is not only the one factor that determines the type of aircraft used. Its also down to capacity as sometimes it could be hard for airlines to fill up A320s or 737s on low density routes while an E190 would be more easier to fill up

    Maybe scoot should focus on improving customer service first instead of expanding their route. Whenever i flew with them, 7 out of 10 times scoot flights will turn to an absolute shitshow. From check-in to luggage collection.

    Also because a lot of Asia’s birth rate is now either plateauing or dropping, like Singapore, Japan and China. Coupled with poor economic conditions. Accounting for these factors, there will be lesser demand on many routes in the future, which mean that flying a wide body for these will be less profitable in general. This is why most of Europe short haul is made up of the A320 and B737. Singapore will soon follow suit

      SG - Sibu route quite busy, previously AirAsia run it too but now no more. The aiprort in sibu not equipped to take your typical large aircraft

    the internet information on this model is hardpoint and pylon and size of 737-200
    the comac-c919 and this can change pylon to (APU for taxi), 2x brahmos per pylon. 1x for turbo-jet and 1x for ram-jet. totally scoot-off scram

    Oh god… scoot… the worst low cost carrier in the world… even worse than Ryanair. Choosing a terrible aircraft to operate. A220 is far superior, the E jets are terribly uncomfortable.
    Unless they change their policies and actually provide a decent product (look at Jetstar) I will still consider them worse than Ryanair.

    • @marcellofms
      @marcellofms 3 месяца назад +1

      What aspects were you based on to say that the Embraer model is a terrible aircraft to operate and inferior to the A220?
      Regarding the level of comfort, this is determined by the airline, which selects the type of seats, as well as the capacity they wish to have on the aircraft.

    • @HS-PGX
      @HS-PGX 3 месяца назад

      @@marcellofms nope, the Embraer is inferior in terms of design and quality compared to the A220. Every time I’ve flown it I’ve hated it. I fly ATRs on a weekly basis and those are still superior to the E Jets that I have flown.
      Just look at the fact that airlines are lining up to buy the A220 but nobody really wants the E2.

      @@HS-PGXMajority of E jets orders came from the US where the scope clause blocks the e175 e2.
