Their latest drivers are from 2017. Gigabyte is notorious for having useless Realtek drivers. No GUI, no options to separate audio sources, etc like I had with previous motherboards.

I have high quality sound, but DxDiag tells me there is not sound card installed. When I follow these instructions, the Realtek drivers come up with a warning that the drivers are deemed incompatible with this device and may stop the sound and or system from working. Not in the slightest bit helpful is it?
what be the differance between these RealTek Drivers 3:58 and Drivers from UR motherboard manufacture ? the motherboard Manufacture Also installed Realtek Drivers is there a difference?

In the Sound, video and game controllers tab in control pannel, I have an option for Realtek(R) Audio. It doesn't say High Definition Audio though. I've updated it and everything but I still don't have the enhancements tab when you go into properties (I'm trying to get bass boosted audio.) I also have another option that isn't realtek(R), but it is NVIDIA High Definition Audio. I searched for drivers on my pc but when I click install, it says my pc could stop working completely. What do i do??
@yesiamkoby I honestly don’t know which do or don’t work, it seems a bit of a mystery. From my experience there isn’t really a pattern or certain headsets that work or don’t

Installing the driver manually doesn't work for me, I don't get any install screen when I restart my computer, and it just stops my audio from working at all. Interestingly, this "updated" install gives me a non-functional 2017 driver, which is just a downgrade from the 2020 driver my computer keeps automatically installing. Realtek audio console doesn't work on either version. Edit: Okay, I managed to get the install screen by telling it not to restart my computer, and then by manually restarting. Sadly, the manually installed driver doesn't work, all I hear is this buzzing/crackling noise, Realtek Audio Console still doesn't work, and once again I get a 2017 driver.
Are PremiumBlackSkinImages64.dll, PremiumBlack2SkinImages64.dll BlackSkinImages64.dll, DarkSkinImages64.dll and GrayJadeSkinImages64.dll supposed to be in my realtek audio folder? They were created 9/17/2020, but modified in July of 2020 and accessed today. They just sound like really bizarre extension names for an audio application

Great vid.! I tried to upgrade my drivers for reasons to fix the muffled sound in all the Microsoft games (Gear 5,Forza H. etc.) but nothing helped.

Roll back any driver updates to fix them first and also the enhancements tab isn’t possible on every device unfortunately.
