33:05 I also know people who realize the massive flaw of a smart gun giving owners less time to react to a situation due to the mere fact that you would have to let the gun ID you first before it would let you fire. Normal firearms don't have that problem.
The gun would be able to ID them almost instantaneously (at least, from our perspective). I don't think you comprehend just how quickly computers work; it's not exactly starting up windows and rendering a video, it's just two packets being sent - such a small amount of time that you can't even perceive it. Even if they screwed that up and made it take a noticeable amount of time, it'd still only happen when you held the grip. It's pretty unlikely that you'd be reaching to hold the grip and pulling the trigger at the exact same time; normally you, you know, actually go to hold the gun *before* you fire it.
You know, as much flawed MGS 4 was, I think it was the best conclusion we could have gotten. Sure everyone can say they would have written something better in their fanfictions but this felt like it ended the franchise instead of leaving gap for sequels (not counting Revengence). The music and ending were extremely touching.
the shocker0045 yeah i know... snake didn’t killed himself, he tried but couldn’t do it and after his talk with Big Boss he decided to live the rest of his life in peace
14:35 - "I'm beginning to sense a trend of Otacon taking credit for other people's work." - It runs in his family. Huey based Peace Walker and Metal Gear ZEKE and Sahalanthropus off of Granin's original Metal Gear design. Emma's not even biologically related to Otacon and her computer worm is a digital rip-off of the Fox-Die virus and her role in the story is a rip-off of Otacon. But there can be only one Otacon so she had to red-shirt her way out of MGS2.
He's not going to something that requires a separate console (PSP) he doesn't have. Heck, he even went out of his way to use Playstation Plus to play this since he doesn't have a PS3, but that free trial is up now.
The scene where Naomi is on the Nomad, Otacon, has a camera that watches the terminal where she's working, on his laptop, which conveniently doesn't show her face and is zoomed in on her chest
One misdirect that could have been done with this psycho mantis could have been it telling you to lay your controller flat, but then the battle starts immediately with her hitting you.
I tottally agree. I actually made a video highlighting some great parts of the game as well as making a few dumb jokes along the way if you want to check it out! ruclips.net/video/5sGor7sSjVw/видео.html
I actually liked the live action TV sequences. I only wish that since they're randomized, they could also be seen on in-game TVs so that players won't have to restart the game over and over to see them all. And you can't tell me Ocelot shooting down choppers with goofy hand motions isn't deserving of subtracting a few sins just for that glorious cheese.
Also, Campbell's voice actor is grandpa max from Ben 10, which was an awesome thing to figure out when the show first came out m surprised no one ever points that out
Had to stop the video for a minute after laughing myself into an asthma attack in relation to the Raging Raven “attack helicopter” line. Best joke all year, 11/10, would suffocate again.
20:45 - Not only did Kojima get hornier, the actresses they scanned for the B&B Unit's Beauty forms are actually porn stars from what I remember or at least some sort of glamour model. +1 sin for fan service but -1 sin for... reasons.
Kojima is kind of a dick to his own actors if you look at his history with famous people. The biggest example is David Hayter being ghosted. I'll bet $10 he ditches Norman after his next game, successful or not.
I know right? There's actually a lot of great moments in 4 that I highlighted in my video if you want to check it out! ruclips.net/video/5sGor7sSjVw/видео.html
10:40 - When Meryl introduce her sniper to Snake, he was holding an XM8 which appears in different types of it's own, that being the classic assault rifle, pdw compact rifle, lmg rifle and a sniper rifle, so technically he should be fine when he holds the XM8 when being the sniper of the team, since he can just hold the sniper variant
@@DarrenSmith-j8m bipod is not a necessary requirement and sure the barrel may not look like a long barrel, but the normal AR version and Sniper/Sharpshooter version pretty much have the same length, so does the Lmg version, the other version (Carbine and Compact) have shorter barrel

At 10:40 Well he is using the "Marksman" variant of the XM8. Though the term "sniper" is inappropriate here, as he is a designated marksman, it's not because of the rifle in use. Often times DMs are called snipers either by mistake or just 'cause simpler (though DM is pretty simple to say).
God damn, nearly an hour That's a sin right there. 3:36 - Revealed in the bad ending of MGS1 actually and again in MGS2 Substance's Snake Tales: Confidential Legacy 15:45 - Perhaps the worse sin here is that Campbell has absolutely no qualms moving in on vulnerable women.
To specify meryl being campbells daughter. At the end of mgs1 if meryl dies, Campbell reveals the truth that he's meryls father. However in mgs2 snake tales snake had taken the route of saving meryl and Campbell still told meryl about being her father.
It would've been funny if Snake showed up in MGRR as a cyborg. Since he couldn't reproduce in the first place, and his body was dying from accelerated aging, he could've easily gone cyborg like Raiden; maybe he could've even ordered a jacked-up cyborg body so that he and Raiden can play ''toss the Metal Gear'' on weekends. That would've been hilarious.
Oh come on Dartigan!!! Making a voting poll at the end is pointless after this video. Just give us "Everything Wrong With Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" and let's get this over with...*bing*
so about ocelot speaking with liquids voice when liquid takes over in mgs2: there are many many hints in the game that tell us we see things from raiden's perspecitve (you know apart from raiden being the main main character in the game) and it's pretty clear that raiden does not see things clearly and is heavily influenced by the patriots using raiden's nanomachines. this point is hammered home even more with the way snake talks about interacting with raiden in mgs2 and by how the arsenal gear ship looks like. if you can ignore the video game boss fight arena you fight the metal gear rays in suddenly disappearing after the fight and raiden just standing on top of arseanl gear then i really got to wonder. also both time liquid takes over ocelots body and talks to snake using his liquid voice it takes snake quite some time to catch on that it's "liquid" who is talking... this at last should rope you in to the fact that ocelot is not actually talking in liquids voice just like 95% of the characters in mgs3 are not actually speaking english. in mgs2 you can chose to weather cam clakrs voice is used for raiden or us or both it's certainly not how it went down in the physical reality of the mgs2 lore
@@GeneFOX70 did you not read my comment? if ocelot was really talking with liquids voice then snake would not have had such a hard time recognizing that it's liquids personality talking to him and not ocelot and again there is plenty of evidence that what we see when playing the tanker chapter is what the VR mission raiden was referring to looked like. the hints for this is snake telling raiden that the vr mission doesn't accuratly reflect what really happend and the fact that when snake talks about it we get flashbacks of things that we didn't see during the tanker chapter, there's also the fact that it definitely looks like snake died during the tanker chapter. you see ocelots little charade of being taken over by liquid was so good that it indeed did fool the patriots AI and thus they gave him liquids voice for the VR mission...
03:40 didn't Campbell confess to cheating with his brothers wife in the MGS 1 bad ending? And saying that she was his from the previous act? And isn't globalism better represented in the tyranny of the E.U?
When it comes to the combat rifle or the XM8 Rifle the guy was holding, it was the sharpshooter conversion and was expected to be adopted by the military when the game came out but was scrapped 1 or 2 years after.
@@glitchxedfix134 it wouldn't make sense, since solid snake had no connection at all towards The Boss other than the fact that she was Big Boss's mentor, and it can't be Gray Fox because of the presence of the flashback which would mean that this is connected to Big Boss somehow (unless kojima wanted the scene to be a "see that? "This game series has no balls when it comes to geography. I don't get involved with a plot that can't offer specifics." THANK YOU. This is becoming a cancerous trait in video games. Making up country names, making up biomes that don't exist or at least not where they're supposedly set, fictional archipelagos where there's only open ocean... Man, call of duty and Crysis did this too but MGS took it to ABSURD new heights. Geography, culture, language, climate and environment DEFINE a battle space even more than the weapons do. Neglecting to define them leaves a war story extremely drab, made worse by the exclusively dull colour palette. I have 48 hours into MGS IV and can't remember a SINGLE gun fight I had in it. If you're gonna make up or fail to specify such important facets of a stories setting and bank drop, you may as well stick to fictional universes like Game of Thrones and Ace Combat.
Ocelot spoke with his voice because he had actually removed Liquid from his consciousness. He had psycho therapy treatment so he'd act like him, but he was still Ocelot. That sort of explains why he doesn't have Liquid voice. Also Ocelot's voice actor is married to the voice director, so maybe there was some nepotism going on. Not sure who voice Liquid Ocelot in the Japanese version.

33:05 I also know people who realize the massive flaw of a smart gun giving owners less time to react to a situation due to the mere fact that you would have to let the gun ID you first before it would let you fire. Normal firearms don't have that problem.
The gun would id them befofe they go out in the field.
The music and ending were extremely touching.

so about ocelot speaking with liquids voice when liquid takes over in mgs2: there are many many hints in the game that tell us we see things from raiden's perspecitve (you know apart from raiden being the main main character in the game) and it's pretty clear that raiden does not see things clearly and is heavily influenced by the patriots using raiden's nanomachines. this point is hammered home even more with the way snake talks about interacting with raiden in mgs2 and by how the arsenal gear ship looks like.
if you can ignore the video game boss fight arena you fight the metal gear rays in suddenly disappearing after the fight and raiden just standing on top of arseanl gear then i really got to wonder. also both time liquid takes over ocelots body and talks to snake using his liquid voice it takes snake quite some time to catch on that it's "liquid" who is talking... this at last should rope you in to the fact that ocelot is not actually talking in liquids voice just like 95% of the characters in mgs3 are not actually speaking english. in mgs2 you can chose to weather cam clakrs voice is used for raiden or us or both it's certainly not how it went down in the physical reality of the mgs2 lore
But what about the Tanker Chapter? Ocelot talked with Liquid's voice.

"This game series has no balls when it comes to geography. I don't get involved with a plot that can't offer specifics."
THANK YOU.
