I have one GTI, and i love it !!! It´s fast and fun and economic...
Me too pal 2017 plate and its amazing piece of machine! I love mine. Comfy, fast, nimble, practical.. This car has everything 👌 my insta adrian_demjan
whats the mpg like?
@@2595220 30-60mpg
I've got a 200bhp 307 on coilovers etc, but I would love a 308 GTi. Proper yearning for one.
I have a gt line 2018 . Still the best car ever for me. But im realy concerned with the mpg. Even on eco switched on im av around 35 mpg. What are you getting and any help to improve will be greatly appreciated
I wish they would sell this brand in the US/states, such an amazing car, love the looks of them.
Wish we got this in the States :(
I have no problem with Peugeot sponsoring Fifth Gear, but these "reviews" are never going to be negative, let's face it. Autocar flag their Paid Promotion as such.
2:28 right back wheel flies
I have one. It's ok. I think I prefer my previous car, the 208 GTi. I'd have bought another 208 if they still made GTi models at that time.
They don't make the 308 GTi now, either. The sporty 508 seems nice, but well out of my price bracket.
Oh by the way, "sport mode" doesn't really do anything, it puts some differnent numbers in the display that aren't useful, it tweaks the throttle response, but it gives you no more power. It does give you an embarrassingly bad fake engine noise through the speakers, though.
This isn't actually a review at all given that the video is sponsored by Peugeot...? Pointless much?
The infotainment systems is shocking in the Peugeot, no physical buttons, you have to go into a menu and change the temperature which is dangerous while driving. The touch screen is unresponsive.
Adam Chase fake news. Temperature settings are available from every menu
And now all new cars getting same system nearly.. Touch screen and no buttons 😂😂👌.. Peugeot brought it 1st remember 😉..
I don't find it a problem.......took me no time at all to get used to it.
RELEASE ALL PEUGEOT VIDS NOW SO THEY KNOW THEY SPONSOR US
Sport mode and the exhaust note changes... it's intake sound at least look up these things before reviewing
looks like llandow race circuit
Wow.. this channel really doesn't know how till schedule uploading😂
Daniel Andersson ....and you can't string a sentence together that resembles any sense.
@@dansanders8486 savage! 😂
@2:47 Peugeot 205 spotted.
The review doesn't seem that genuine when your subscription box is suddenly plagued with Peugeot videos
You do see the Peugeot logo alongside their's at the top, right?
@Srijan... Yes, that's what I'm saying, these videos are sponsored
Gotta finance the show somehow. Standard and revenue isn't what it used to be. And to be fair, I've seen real reviews praising this car even more than this. Not a fan of the downsized engine, though.
Damn, what is up with this 4 Peugeot videos, why all 4 suddenly? They're occupying my feed lol,I don't think i'll watch em...
1:43 rapid🤔 (skoda)?
Rapid means fast. He meant fast.
Skoda = bulgarian shitbox
Shame that (as with EVERY Peugeot) the electrics will fail.
Thumbobby prove it. Wasn’t it Renault with the faulty electrics anyway. I’ve had both. 2 Peugeot’s in fact with 1 Renault. I had a dodgy window in a Laguna, failed door speakers and the window control switch broke off...
2 Peugeot’s were a 207 HDI that I had remapped and was great till the torque ripped the clutch to pieces and so I swapped for the 207 GTI that I miss everyday. Only sold it because I became a dad and needed boot space.
So..
Again with my suggestion.. prove it.
Peugeot hater troll 😒🖕🤬. Have you actually owned one and speak from experience or are you pulling that statement out of your arse? As the man asked. PROVE IT...😳
le mans, dakar, pikes peak... does not mention wrc. lol

I respect Peugeot for trying to make sporty hatchbacks like in the 80’s and 90’s but it’s not as good as a i30N or Focus St. My opinion tho
The Civic R is even better, only problem is that it only comes with from wheel drive
Millen Rogers this thing is miles better than the Focus ST and on par with the i30N. Once you have a go in one of these, you’ll change your mind. This 308 is one of the best GTI’s they’ve ever made, it holds the road so well and the LSD in it pulls you out of corners better than anything I’ve ever been in.
Millen Rogers you must be joking those two cars feel like overweight heffas compared to the 308...
U re wrong...all the cars u mentioned are heavier car...sorry for the late reply lol
I wish French cars were sold in America, just so there would be an option for people that want a bad car, but don't want a Chrysler product ☹️
New French cars are far more reliable than anything America can produce. The old French cars had a bad rep yes, but a lot of manufacturers share similar parts these days and use the same plastics. The only real difference you'll notice is if you have a budget of 100k upwards. Then you will see a notable difference in quality.
you've got all the other domestic shite that you produce that no one else wants, for that.
Peugeot troll spotted 😒🖕🤬. Have you actually owned one and speak from experience or are you pulling that statement out of your arse?
Peugeot, Citron, and Renault aren't sold in the U.S. because their transmissions and engines kept breaking down. None of these cars have been sold in the U.S. since 1986.
theylied1776 why can't they bring em back,I mean they seem pretty reliable...
Renault is having the same transmission and engine problems in the U.S. with several of their Nissan models right now. I really don't think Renault, Peugeot, or Citron will be back in North America (U.S. Canada, or Mexico) any time soon.
theylied1776 k thanks
Peugeot are returning to the USA soon but starting with rentals for time being
Not until they send cars to the NHTSB for testing. Renault hasn't sent any models for testing.
What a garbage review
2:35 is the drivers seat bouncing around? That looks awful
No
The king of dirty the south bro it clearly is though. I hope your piece of shit Peugeot brings you joy.
@@BrummyTom I've driven one and it didn't have a bouncy seat. You melt
The king of dirty the south bro 😂 melt. Look at the clip it’s clearly bouncing around. You didn’t notice it because you weigh about 8 stone you drip.
@@BrummyTom you need to get out more.
And being Peugeot thp will be unreliable as hell just like my 208 thp gti
No customer is ever going to be free on problems no matter the brand. You just got unlucky.
If you’ve modded it. Then it’s very hard to put all blame on Peugeot.
Vag car is the worst car I’ve ever had and I’ve owned a fair punto and bravo with zero problems, yet everyone would say it’s terrible.
So far my 308 gti has no issues. It’s my first and 6 months owned. 3rd owner so we’ll see.
Shitting Peugeot !
So why are you watching it idiot 😂😂👌.. You're shit
Looks like a golf
Miles Law looks like a modern take on a 306 to me!
excelente video ❤️👍🏽👍🏽 si vas a comprar *308* sumate a Instagram *308_official* ahi posteamos nuestros carros¡¡¡!!! les mando abrazo Saludos
