When I watch Power BI tutorials for beginners, this is what i wanna see. Straight to the point, clear and with simple examples. Your channel has done wonders for my current job ! Thank you :)
Thank you for these videos! I had a vision I was going to work with power Bi and now I'm learning everything I can. I come from a programmer background.
Hi Kenji, that's a great video, I recently finished my training in Power BI. Your videos are great useful to me. I am expecting real time scenarios to gain experience. Thank you, Padmini venkata
Thank you so much, you are a blessing.. I can't tell you how much time I wasted watching other videos on Power BI and never got my question answered until now. Your video was straight and to the point, it answered my question and gave me the result I was looking for. Can't wait to watch more of your videos.
If I give you data, will you be able to tell/ make a tutorial on that? As I know sales, factory, and cookies data most people use and tell. But real workd data is always different
I think because the 'AND' operator will calculate the units where Sprite and Fanta were sold together. That's cells with 'Sprite $ Fanta' as the value. The 'OR' operator however, will take cells with Sprite values and also cells with Fanta values, into the the calculations. NB: I'm not too sure, I'm only using my knowledge of logical operators for this answer.
Hi Kenji Great work, Tried to do this but not able to apply IF function for a particular column which is having sigma notation before it. So please advice how to solve this ?
Hi there is an alternate way to add new columns with conditions, you can simply go to transform data then add column there in add column menu you'll see a conditional column there you can apply these small medium and large categories with ease.
Thanks for this video. I want to know if there is any way in power BI to archive the reports? Let's say data is getting loaded on a weekly basis, report will get populated with new data every week. so how to access the report that has older data?
if you use AND the formula will get the sales for places where both products has records, rather is you use OR get the sales from places that sales one or the other product.
Hi, please how do you calculate the values for females if you have a column where males and females are combined and another column with their respective values? can i generate a VAR here?
It says fundamentals. I know there are instances where a better formula should used such a switch statement instead of multiple ifs. But as the video says, only "fundamentals"

Really great video, DAX is super helpful for todays business and data analysts!!
Glad you think so!
For Sprite and fanta instead of using OR within curley braces we can specify right Data[bevarage brand]={"sprite", "Fanta"})
It's great to Learn Power BI and Excel from you sir, upload more on Power BI, Excell, Power Point love from Pakistan
This is the first time I challenged myself to study DAX. Thank you again,.... Sir...

great , would love to see more !
Hii Sir can u make complete DAX Function vedio please..
does this mean when you try categorizing row the only way to do is through calculated column and not measures?
If I give you data, will you be able to tell/ make a tutorial on that? As I know sales, factory, and cookies data most people use and tell. But real workd data is always different
Great video, very straightforward. Do you have video on the M language too?
Cheers! No I dont but will keep it in mind
@@KenjiExplains Thanks. Thank you for your great tutorials.
You used OR instead of AND in the last query, Why? Because it's both Sprite and Fanta Revenue or it's either of the one?
I am confused about this one as well

The 'OR' operator however, will take cells with Sprite values and also cells with Fanta values, into the the calculations.

Why OR function is used instead of AND to find revenue of Sprite & Fanta?
if you use AND the formula will get the sales for places where both products has records, rather is you use OR get the sales from places that sales one or the other product.

Is there a DAX formula cheat sheet ? I am new to power Bi. Anyone please share
I have a question ,when i create a new column #errors seen in all cells i don't know why if you answer i'll be happy
0:00 - 0:39
0:00 to 0:39
0:00 ; 0:39
So it should be called DAE then
0.39
can you make dashboard in Power BI video?
noted for a future video!
0:39
This was just the use of DAX functions. It's basic, but not fundamental.
Nooooo man....is it me only or there's something deepfake about his face?!!! I can't be the only one seeing this.
lol what? I’m a real person 😅
@@KenjiExplains Noooo, the way you're blinking and moving your head. It's AI. It can't be real🙂
U work for a regional bank? Haha
wait what? lol

Great job, thanks!
