I always learn from you. Can you tell us how to prepare a burndown chart in Power BI? We usually use it in projects to show the remaining of the tasks to do at the regular intervals. Plan, Forecat, and actual.
Hi Maven Analytics, Thanks for the video, I follow your videos for my learning. I've a question - how do you get Data, Visualization, Format, Bookmarks as buttons on the right side of the screen?
@@user-vc6wo7cq8v Thank you! Glad you’re enjoying the courses, and I hope you land in a role where you can really start to leverage some of these skills!

Is it possible to use PowerBi to enable our customers/users to create their own reports/visuals? Rather than using existing reports created in PowerBI desktop?
We have a solid data prep and QA section in our Thinking Like an Analyst course, and cover those concepts in a few other places (Excel Formulas, Power Query, Tableau Prep, etc.). Will likely launch a more in-depth Power Query/M course early next year as well.
I still feel power bi is basically mainly for big data related avtivities and will go through major change with copilot and AI, current bi is very technical. business intelligence should come easy anyone should be anle to work out trend easily as its mainly used in business decisions For generally long lists of data and finding trends still using excels slicers, PT, charts etc is the easiest option and also now copilot is available
Excel is still a great option for exploratory analysis or self-service BI, and in fact it uses many of the exact same "engines" under the hood as Power BI (Power Query, M, DAX). That said, once you learn Power BI I think you'll find that it's quite intuitive as a self-service tool, for both large datasets and quick ad hoc analysis.
I bought a Power BI training for you on Udemy and Unfortunately, you use the old version of PowerBi which is very different, I trusted you and I'm very dispointed 😞 ... I'm really struggling to make the match with the new version ... why don't you say it from the begining ? why don't you update the training to the new version?... You just took my money 😞
Which version of Power BI are you using? We recently rebuilt the entire course, so the experience should very closely match the current version. Minor differences are unavoidable, but if there are major issues following along, please post to the course Q&A forum so that we can help you there.
My goodness - you totally smashed this bro. I feel like I will be a Pro in not time as soon as I work on any project soon.

I'm doing your course on Udemy but this is an excellent quick add to my portfolio!! Thx for sharing!!
Nice! Figured this would be a good way to quickly introduce the core functionality, and build a pretty cool dashboard at the same time 💪

Great content!! subscribed immediately. Please keep doing great work. Thank you!!
If only the datasets I work with were so clean
They can be once you clean them 😅
So true!
I know right? I wanted to keep the focus on the fundamentals for this one, but we’ll definitely do some demos with a heavier focus on data prep & QA
@@ChristopherBruehl 😭
True. But to give people a first glimpse of what you can do with PowerBI you need to to it with clean data.

Awesome video. I wish my company used advanced tools. I am stuck in the disconnected Stone Age with excel 2016 and no reliable connection access

I need alot of work to enhance my skills but why you don't make course for how to clean data as it's the most thing done by Analysts

Great!
is someone knows how to switch from the original dashboard to the more visual one ?
It's just a lot of tweaking the settings in the formatting pane - simple adjustments but can be a bit tedious to go through it all.
Hello Maven
How could you help me to create an advanced dashbord with PBI
Oss!!!!
One Advice : Don't buy the PowerBi Training You will strugle to find how to do it because, it's the very old version!
We completely rebuilt the course less than a year ago, where are you specifically having trouble following along?
