To reset the trip, get the trip display up (left click on the joystick), then hold the joystick left for a few seconds and it resets. Saw this on another RUclips video (I think it was That Biker Simon). Nice review and great colour choice.
Might see you at the ABR Festival at the weekend.

I've put a deposit down on one. Same colour as yours. I do intend to take it off road. I will also be using it as my primary training bike for CBT and DAS.

The saddle bags should taper to the back. You have them mounted on the wrong sides. That gives it more clearance by the wheel. I did similar years ago

Unfortunately there were no fitting instructions, all academic now as I have the hard panniers and top box fitted. Life is a test at times 😻

I’m 63, been nursing old KLRs and a 94 tenere, and thinking of getting something that isn’t worn out already. The new RE 450 seems to replicate the old thumpers power, but with modern suspension.
    Tempted.

I would suggest you find your local RE dealer and book a test rest ride, of course that might be fatal and you will end up with a brand new bike 🏍️

Enjoyed your views on your new bike. I think you got the right colour choice by far. The battery use by the Enfield app is crazy. Not everyone’s choice but I went with the Beeline Moto 2. It uses far far less battery on the phone, planning a route with waypoints is a breeze and it uses less data as well. For some inexplicable reason you cannot get them via Beeline but infinity had stacks of them. I hope you give some opinions on the 6000 mile service when you get to it, especially because it involves the checking of the valves.

Glad you are happy with your 450. I have tied a length of webbing from the pillion peg to the rear rack for the bags to lean against for my own bike. Stops the bags from swinging towards the wheel. Happy travels to you.

The original chains on the 411 were Rubbish. I threw mine at a little over 5000 Kms. Got fed up adjusting every 2nd ride. Fitted RK . Hardly ever touch it.

Sold a bike last week and now on the long journey of looking for my last bike
Dealers look in trouble if I'm honest
Far to many bikes and no room to look around and not much selling
      Having had 2 x 411 himmys I took a look at the new 450
Sales guy wasn't the best and claims you can not get boxes for the 450
Are the boxes/ frames your getting royal field and what money are they, please
      Enjoy

Great review and best colour although I am waiting for my tubeless Hanle and still have no delivery time for this model. Cannot get any idea of accessory prices for Royal Enfield, are your items RE original pieces? I have ordered kit, now delivered from Zana India, for pannier rails and rear rack plate, also radiator guard and headlight protector in powder coated black. Very well made kit but not willing to risk any other crash bar/engine protection except factory but again no prices for the RE rally sump protector combination engine guard. Hopefully your kit will be back at the dealership on your return but for me it has been a long long delay for delivery.

I'm also waiting for delivery for my tubeless model.I bought engine guards from eBay .genuine Re part.very cheap.I bought pannier rails from cooberg .I see now Ali express are doing these parts for around £67 each.I ordered top box plate from Ali express today .£32 all in.

The price list has been updated and all the parts are factory items being fitted on 26 June ready for the ABR Festival

@@Bob-oo7sm I got lucky in January - 7 items, headlight & Radiator guard, Satnav mount, rear brake and fluid protection, topbox adaptor plate, saddlestay/pannier mount with fuel holder totalled £131 with free post - these items are now £229 and I doubt the Zana free post to uk because my second order for £70 I declined an extra £30 postage and cancelled it in march. The RE Rally guard looks available on Ebay £180 - £200 - will hope the uk price isn't too high as it is 9.999 rupees (£95) on the India home market - any guess on the uk mark-up?
