Love the part at 3:59 when Banks turns over the flag to Charlie knowing his leadership and sacrifice is what really sealed their victory such great comradery
Love the way this theme blends a sense of speed, power, emotion (trepidation, hope, love, concern, commardirie) and even a touch of bombastic brass together into something that never loses its place in your heart
its got some great ties in its composition back to "Fanfare for the Common Man" written in 1942, which is ALSO a major inspiration for both the original Superman theme and Captain America's MCU theme

He did say in D2 how he thought he was a better coach than player, so it would make sense. They could also have Bombay in sort of a Hans like role. It'll probably never happen, but it would be cool if it did. I know I'd go see it.

Fact - The Varsity team in D3 has the same actors that played the rival team The Hawks in the first movie. That's ironic given that Banks joins them in D3 where as he was taken from the Hawks in the first one Also note the Varsity team's goalie Scooter is played by the same actor who portrays Gunner Stahl in D2 so you might say the interactions between him a Julie the cat are also ironic

I may be a Sharks fan, but I still respect the Ducks as a very respectable adversary/rival, simply because these movies got me into ice hockey. The Ducks have a very underrated history in terms of how they were formed, and I will always support them as a childhood favorite.

I swear its amazing how a hockey movie about a bunch of fictional pre-teen kids could affect me so much more than a hockey movie about a bunch of real life college Olympic Champions (Miracle) who beat the Russians in 1980. But it did. And I think its cuz Miracle didn't have this score bumping it in the background.
Listening to this wonderful theme on the 30th anniversary of D2, 3/25/1994. I saw it in theaters on that day when I was 9 and a half years old. Good memories.
