Cool Idea. What do you think about Fire Build with Maehlin's Hubris? It basically converts all bleed chance to ignite chance and Forge Guard got some Fire damage passives. :)
Yeah hubris is great for the FG but doesn't really fit in this build as the forged weapons wouldn't benefit from it. I'd look at flame driver rive to follow that line out for huge physical pen!

Amarathy, if u add ward/hp experimental on gloves, even lvl 1, cuz of HH, u will get insane amounts of ward too cuz of divine barrier point
I'm well aware of the bug and actively choose not to exploit it, especially in this build.
how will the weapons go vs high corruption? will they still get 1 shotted easily? i am really tempted to test this build @@amityqt
So here is an idea maybe you can incorporate. Same concept with almost the same skills but on ignite stacking instead of bleed with smelters wrath for a big screen clear finisher utilizing 2 set Bonus sunforged chest as well. Greetings aka FancyRookie
I was mucking around with this off screen, the inclusion of the chest is pretty good but trying to get both smelters and forged weapons out is pretty mana intensive. I think a smelters with manifest armour would be good though!

I have been playing something similar to this (bleed forge weapon) and have been looking at Taste of Blood (1h axe) + Flayer's Pride (shield), seems like the accelerated bleed might help the dps but its kind of hard to tell, plus you lose some of the 2h weapon synergy from Smelters Might. Any thoughts on this idea?

why bleed for this FG instead of ignite?
The main source of damage is the minions which inherit from your weapon. A bardiche is really strong for this as it it's high physical damage and bleed chance. You also get 40 flat damage from the tree, so you can get physical pen for this as well that is going to double dip.
the health regen + threshold is cool and seems strong but the skill point choices are a mess
have u tried the Vessel of Strife relic with this build could be cool
@@1brianyaffa What do you mean the skill point choices are a mess? and I will try Vessel later on but it's hard to pass up on the armour dot mitigation at this point.
@@amityqt Haven't looked too much into your tree, but three obvious ones are the blocking nodes when you're running with a two-handed weapon.
3 points for 7% flat block seems pretty good to me

No use for the Ribbon unique ring in this build i take it?
Also, do your swords apply the same bleed stack damage as you? Cuz i cant tell since the bleed counter just ticks up without anything to distinguish the difference (if any). Cuz physical damage or damage over time rolls or even the unique bleed modifiers on head and chest that arent on your weapon only apply to you afaik. Pls correct me if im wrong
Yep you would definitely want a high LP ribbons in the build. There is a crit version of this that uses and odachi that would really benefit from that as well.
And the forged weapons are quite literally just a copy of your weapon alone. They will inherit from minion stats but not your actual stats like you can do with manifest armour
Someone help. Why do we use throwing damage ring with this build? Which ability benefits from the throwing damage and a throwing damage mana reduction?
His gear is not optimized here. You do not want throwing damage.
Yep, the planner states that this is my in game gear, not my optimal gear as I find it gives a more realistic link between what you're seeing and what you would be able to quickly gear up to

I am trying a shieldthrow bleed build but i am stacking bleed over 300% which i thought is ramping up bleeds way quicker. In addition i am going damage over time, phys pen, and phys dmg to have higher bleed ticks. Now i see you only have one bleed source. Am i doin it it wrong?
No you're not doing it wrong. My build makes copy of my weapons and thats the main source of my damage, so I don't really need other sources as they wont be transferred to my forged weapons
