After experiencing that I spent DAYS planning a new build based on the same concept and after spending MILLIONS on buying gear and testing builds, I found out that stacking HP, Endurance, %damage reduction and other defensives allows me to focus my build fully around damage while also being HELLA TANKY and I also found out this works on most builds in Last Epoch, not just on Rogue. After playing for hours and hours a day, I finally got past the 2,500 corruption mark and after realizing I'm not even getting remotely close to the builds limit, I stopped there because I didn't have any more nerves, patience or will to keep pushing corruption past that, the gameplay just felt repetitive and monotone after endlessly plowing through god knows how many monos a day, spending like
@@nogerboher5266 If you watched any of Amarathy's other videos like the 5 tips for new players, he already covered the HP, res, endurance etc stacking, now moving onto this sort of stuff. Appreciate the detail but yeah your general point has been covered in other videos.
Don't forget throne of ambition that's a huge bonus for ignite & frostbite, plus the fact that the affix that gives freeze rate also gives cold resist = ward retention. Not a ton but you're just that much tankier
Wait does attributes increase DoT dmg? So if I'm using Frost Claw (int ability) and I scale int, the int increases the dmg of the frostbite applied by Frost Claw?
Yo your Wild Magic Runemaster build was the most fun build I've tried so far on my lvl100 but swapped off it for the meta Frost Claw spam build because it's current. I know you haven't been playing Mage since 1.0 release but would you change anything to that Runebolt + Invocation build with new 1.0 items/updates to make it more meta?
Wild Magic is just that super cool build that just feel like it's in a real 'ethical' balanced spot. There was no real changes in 1.0 but pretty understandable if you want to blast with the claw to farm that sweet loot!
One correcting info regarding void not having infinitely stacking ailment, it does. Future Strike. I wish it had more support in void knight affixes and passives/skilltrees.
Void does have an unlimited stacking aliment Future strike but but you can only get 130% chance to apply assuming you are void knight and brought 10 points of the passive node and are using the future strike relic.
Thanks for this. I this similar to the Maxroll build for a dive bomber falconer has me wearing Morningfrost boots? None of my attacks are normally cold based.
Mourningfrost adds +1 Cold damage to every single attack per point of Dex you have. The damage type doesn't matter. If you have 80 Dex, you get +80 flat damage. Dive Bomb has like 800% damage effectiveness, so that 80 flat damage adds 80 * 8 = 640 flat damage for each hit, which then also gets multiplied further by everything else. That's the whole "damage buckets" thing he's talking about in the video. I personally also absolutely skipped over that line on Mourningfrost the first few times.
As a spark Lighting blast / aegis RM I found on yt thar schock has integrated in it self a lighting damage reduction/penetration that give more that standard damage reduction on the same tier. Now i know why all going for Frostbite but I rlly like lighting blast :P
Hi @AmarathyGaming, thanks for the video. Your frostbite swarmblade was my main during the beta and really enjoyed it. Are you cooking a new version of it with the new skills, items... ?
I currently have a Necro frost build and it's sick. It doesn't deal the raw damage that the fire version does, but constantly freezing the enemies is a.grest payoff.
just want to say - read gray text on unique boots. they say "freeze from skill trees wont count". so, i guess druid swarm skill wont do anything, right?
Swarmblade is the exception because that node gives you stats, while most other nodes just affect the skill. You can verify this by checking your char sheet freeze rate
So technically, if i were to be a Runemaster with Frostclaw and the 42% Ele-Nova perk, which lets me specc Frost-Nova for 0 Mana/Nova plus Freezing Cascade etc. combined with a heart of Ukheiros for Ward, using the Blessing that leeches Health on spell damage AND using Invoke whenever I have 3 Ice Runes, which increases Frostbite Application in an Area while costing very little Mana... I could do well in both AoE as well as Boss-clears while still being pretty good on damage? Nice.
the claw+nova interaction is awesome, I was loving that back in 9.2 before it got buffed and now it just feels like it's cracked OP. I think frostbite will end up being the best winner of that because of the CC you get
For dex builds, Mourningfroost boots is too OP if you can manage to take care of the reduced cold and phys resist. The damage it gives is just too much especially if you stack Dex.

Snowdrift specifies "Does not include Freeze Rate Multiplier granted by individual skills' trees or Freeze Rate Multiplier for specific ability types" does swarmblade still work... it is a skill
Yep it does in this case because it's giving you a global stat, similar to teleport in mage. If the skill is like "this skill has more freeze rate" like a local mosifier, then it doesn't work
So that won't work because the chaos bolt modifier is local to the skill, while snowdrifts only care about your global multi. Still a lot of synergy there though with shackles!
@@amityqt can you explain what tome of the elements unique does? it says it increases "ignite, shock, frostbite duration" but it says nowhere what base duration is.
For your last point, it says right on the boots "Does not include Freeze Rate Multiplier granted by individual skills Tree's or Freeze Rate multiplier from specific ability types. So I don't think that last example would apply. But good video overall!
