I have been dreaming of this day, I HATE to set up loot filters I always feel like I am going to mess up and miss out on items I need. I cannot thank you enough sir, this is why I'm subscribed.
I always spend time on very large drops to check every item to see if anything there is not properly filtered as i progress through the game to fine tune
@@Noksivs The nice thing in LE is, that you can tinker with the filter ingame. In PoE you have to leave the game and tinker with the filter in the browser. Just annoying. And the whole interface for filters in LE is just god-tier :D
Also anyone who uses and likes this filter, like Raxx said he and the community worked for 6 hours to make this filter. A one month subscription to him is well worth it.

I apologize if I offended some people for trying to throw the guy who spent 6 hours helping the community rather than playing the game. Yes I know Raxx plays for "work" but for those of us who only have an hour maybe two to play anymore the creators help us a lot by allowing us to use their guides that show us some of the best ways to gear up and let us play the game rather than theory craft of in this case figure out the best way to make a filter. That is why I do subscribe on the "other" platform; the thank Raxx for his work.
The amount of time I've watched, rewatched, and then gone back and fine tooth combed through all of your guides.. Thank you for all your work for the communities.

A tip with the Shattering rules (not really about the rules, but about shattering in general). When you shatter, you get a random amount of shards (you may not even get any at all for some affixes), but if you use a rune of removal, you always get a number of shards for the affix you removed equal to the tier. It's especially handy for rare affixes like all res/hybrid health and class specific affixes. The only downside is you could get pretty unlucky on blue/yellow items and run out of forging potential before you hit the affix you actually wanted shards for. You also chew through way more rune of removals than shatterings, especially since shatterings can be bought from vendors.
Yea its a good balancing tradeoff I guess. If rune of shattering gives max number of shards or if rune of removal doesnt consume potential, it would just make the other option pointless. Its just personal preference, but I would only use rune of removal for rarer affixes.
Feedback/Question: Shouldn't the green rule for Rune of Ascension be below T7 and T6 affixes we want to keep? Otherwise it marks stuff as "ascend me" that should actually be kept because it has good T7 or T6 affixes?

Help. I most certainly know my way around computers and how to copy stuff with ctrl+C etc however Last epoch keeps saying I have no valid lootfilter on my clipboard to import...? Any idea? Okay its wonky when you play with Geforce now apparently. But I found a solution.
Tried it for a few days now. Made some small alterations, but it's working very well as a filter for "generically good" loot, which I can then sell on MG. Did find something to fix: the class specific affix rule won't highlight exalts with class specific affixes, so by default a t3 class affix blue item is shown, but a t6 class affix exalt is hidden. It would also be nice if the red item rules at the top didn't have any stats in them by default.
Thank you!!! I’ve been messing with my own filter a lot but as a dad with limited game time I don’t have the chops to make it as good as it probably should, and it does leave you with a bit of a bad feeling that you’re maybe leaving really good stuff behind. I really really appreciate this!
What about rules for rare gear? T20 rare gear on the right base seems way better than random trash exalts. Also, your t7 armor rules in red do not ask to specify base type and are rules aimed at getting items just for slamming. Implicits are extremely strong in LE.
when youre farming for glyph of insights, before you shatter or toss the experimental item, use a rune of discovery and youll get a chance of getting hybrid health which at that point you can shatter the item. easy way to occasionally get extra HH shards

This filter is awesome! I think it could use one more thing similar to T7 red filters you talked about at the end. I think it could be very useful to have another set similar with a different color which is specific exalted item bases which you might wear. It seems the red filter you created is a little more geared to any item base which you might want to slam into a legendary. This loot filter is an insane starting point though. Good stuff Raxx
what a god, thanks. I already had a great custom filter, but this is pure gold. As of personal taste, you might want to recolor items for shatter to be grey, as orange is the color of rare items

Hi Rax. I watch a lot of your videos, but rarely ever comment. I just wanted to thank you and your team for putting in so much effort to help gamers like me out. I mean it truly. Thank you for all of your hard work and for being able to teach and explain it so it isn't super confusing and complicated.
It's in a similar style to how the LastEpochTools website does their automated loot filter: They split items into helm/boots/gloves/weapon/etc. But they have like 65 rules and can be daunting to change as they also have all those item rules (helm/gloves/etc.) repeated about 2 times for midgame and early endgame. I do like your approach, but I am thinking I'm going to be considering lowering the T7 to T6 exalts with the stats I want as Godly in the early endgame that I'm at as some could prove as good upgrades. Haven't tested, but I want to make sure it's early-endgame friendly. Also, another tip could be: Recolour in Green all exalted rings, amulets and maybe belts if you want some cash money (hence the green) as they occupy little space in inv and sell for decent amount.

Hey Rax, I recommend you add an additional rule which is the drop for the Fractured Crown Recipe, is a very rare drop, you need an exalted Runed Visage (Mage only helmet) That either has Mana or Damage dealt to lilfe before mana, it needs to be exalted because you need both mods on the items (Both Prefixes) as well as 21 total affixes which requires to have at least one t6 affix on them, it would be useful for people who doesn't know that this recipe exists at all and might want to play around with this games version of MoM.

Rax, why not pump T7 Dodge? Is not investing heavily in dodge good? Currently lvling up my "marksman-trapper-detonating-arrow" and sitting at 56% dodge. It feels "good" but is it? I aim to get 75%ish and higher... this will co-exist with as much endurance I can muster, since I am fed up with all those ward builds :)
If you don't wanna take time making your own loot filter, it's a great idea to just download this one. But, I would encourage people to try to make your own if it's something that interest you. A pretty basic way to do it from the start without putting 10 hours in it is too: 2nd to last = Show all normal magic rare (all item type depending on what you want to play) Last line = Hide all normal magic rare (all item type) From there, you can slowly add line over these 2 and remove the item type you been more specific to the **show all** Ex: 3nd to last = Show 2H w/ (all affix you want) 2nd to last = Show all normal magic rare (all item type depending on what you want to play + REMOVE 2H from it) Last line = Hide all normal magic rare (all item type) After some time you will have: Show Armor w/ affix Show accessories w/ affix Show 2H w/ affix .... Last line = Hide all normal magic rare (all item type). The more you level you can add line or modify line to see only affix T3-4-5 etc. This way, you can play normaly and have a dynamic loot filter for only the build you want to play. It's super fun and rewarding to do. It also helps you to understand the game way faster.

I keep asking myself "why keep all tier 7 exalted" ? Is there a reason i am missing ? Let's say I play a "fire damage" build, whats the use of picking up a exalted T7 cold damage affix ? Also great video raxx I've really enjoyed every thing you did. D3,poe,le it's all solid content🎉
The only small change I would make the base filter is "RECOLOR Items to Ascend" to only work with non-exalted rarity items. That way it will not take priority over T7/T6 exalted item for your build that is lower on the list. Other than that it looks really good, will be using it on my next build. Thanks!

Hey Raxx, I’m trying to build this filter for my character but I’m not playing a set build (at least not one that I’ve found) it’s a Warlock with some Necro skills (summon skeleton and golem) I use ghost flame, chthonic fissure and blood rip as well. What I’ve been doing is hunting minion damage/health as well as flame/necrotic damage affixes. I also try to not sacrifice mana/health if I can. Would you have any insights on how to further my build or should I just keep going as is?

Just hit lvl 8 on COF so I NEEDED to make my loot filter more efficient for exalts because I could barely keep up with gold and buying stash tabs already. This loot filter makes me want to create at least two more alts after hitting two lvl 95s and lvl 84 respectively. Thank you good sir and bless you.

This filter is exactly what I was looking for, though I think I found a minor bug - The "shatter class affixes" & "shatter useful affixes" rules specify magic & rare so if you drop an exalted item with a t6/7 version of those affixes it won't show. Adding exalted to the rarity check on those rules fixed it.
Lol people just get lazier each game, loot filters are very easy to setup, people just clearly don't find time while they are finding time to play :D ;D
Setting up loot filters is like setting up an overview that won't get you killed in Eve Online. But it's fun. Masochistically fun. The passion Raxx oozes is ... You can light it on fire and it will burn. No one knows when it will stop but they have suspicions. That aisde, Last Epoch is really cool. Reminds me of Chrono Trigger but only subtly. The characters are no where near as interesting. Story is meh but the mechanics are awesome.
Don't uncheck classes you don't intend to play! When crafting gear for slamming, any class' gear will work equally well and having the shards to craft on those pieces could be the difference between having a perfect slam item and a 50/50.
Using this right now, and compared to the previous maxroll levelling filter I'm seeing almost nothing. Which is great, I spend more time playing less time stashing / shattering / selling items. Hopefully I'll find an upgrade at some point. I did get a set item drop today, and there is no filter for those - are they just all poo? I added them to the uniques filter beause, y'kmow, sets. My ARPG / MMO brain can't handle the idea of ignoring set items.
Holy ......... I just cleared up 95% of my stash inventory. I have no plans to play more than one character per cycle. Is there a specific filter for Merchant's guild? I'm not sure what to sell and what to throw/shatter and I always end up giving items for almost free.

For us Circle of Fortune folks looking for items to Ascend… I know there is no loot filter for CoF rank requirements, but do you know of any ways to further filter out items that are definitely NOT going to have this requirement? Raxx Do you forsee the detonate arrow dagger build getting nerfed? Im clearing Lvl 90 content at lvl 74 and im having a blast using it as a melee build. Its very very strong. But yeah do you know if its bugged or overperforming? im afraid they will take it away.
Does anyone know why when i equip a +53% fire damage my firs spells do more damage than a +57% fire damage? For example disintegrate does 105k with the first one and 92k with the second one. All other affixes are resistances. How does it make sense?

How do you handle all the trash during leveling? I have pretty strict filters looking only for affixes with 5+ at level 50, 4+ at level 40, 2 3+ at 30 and so on and I still get so much garbage I have to sort through.
I think this is a great filter, but I did find a couple of issues as a new player. #1. It doesn't seem to account for set items. Maybe they all suck and that's why? But they seem fun for leveling at the very least. #2. It seems very restrictive for weapon drops in general, aside from the Ascending Items rule and Exalted items. Other than that, I'm honestly not familiar enough with the game to make any other observations.
Is there any all encompassing filter that will highlight various build strengths? I'm playing the merchant guild and trying to get up to the money required to get my LP3's is a bit daunting at times. I'd like to see other strong T6 and T7's. In that case should I just copy the T7 filter and change it to T6?
@first - amazing thing what you All have done. From a prospectiv of a casual is one keypart missing. If you want to bring your build to roll you need a early or mid section for this. Two needed affixes on a magic/rare affix (magic to craft, rare to blind equip) If you can add this in an idiotmethod - you are godly - godlier as you are already
Raxx, can you set your ascendance rule to only include rank items for Circle of Fortune or do we need to scan them for CoF rank if we want to get our Rune back. EDIT: I know you can just dump them in a stash tab and search for "rank" in the tab to quickly do it - wonder if theyll build rank y/n into loot filter.
Thanks for your work but I guess this filter shows too much for a new player. You get rares for other classes, too. Weapons you cant/dont wanna use. Affixes you dont want. I guess there are better Maxroll filter - like the one from b i n a. But thank you. I will try this filter when leveling/the campaign is done and change the level range because you get too much garbage.

Hey Rax, I recommend you add an additional rule which is the drop for the Fractured Crown Recipe, is a very rare drop, you need an exalted Runed Visage (Mage only helmet) That either has Mana or Damage dealt to lilfe before mana, it needs to be exalted because you need both mods on the items (Both Prefixes) as well as 21 total affixes which requires to have at least one t6 affix on them, it would be useful for people who doesn't know that this recipe exists at all and might want to play around with this games version of MoM.

Rax, why not pump T7 Dodge? Is not investing heavily in dodge good? Currently lvling up my "marksman-trapper-detonating-arrow" and sitting at 56% dodge. It feels "good" but is it? I aim to get 75%ish and higher... this will co-exist with as much endurance I can muster, since I am fed up with all those ward builds :)
If you don't wanna take time making your own loot filter, it's a great idea to just download this one. But, I would encourage people to try to make your own if it's something that interest you. A pretty basic way to do it from the start without putting 10 hours in it is too:
2nd to last = Show all normal magic rare (all item type depending on what you want to play)
Last line = Hide all normal magic rare (all item type)
From there, you can slowly add line over these 2 and remove the item type you been more specific to the **show all**
Ex:
3nd to last = Show 2H w/ (all affix you want)
2nd to last = Show all normal magic rare (all item type depending on what you want to play + REMOVE 2H from it)
Last line = Hide all normal magic rare (all item type)
After some time you will have:
Show Armor w/ affix
Show accessories w/ affix
Show 2H w/ affix
....
Last line = Hide all normal magic rare (all item type).
The more you level you can add line or modify line to see only affix T3-4-5 etc.
This way, you can play normaly and have a dynamic loot filter for only the build you want to play. It's super fun and rewarding to do. It also helps you to understand the game way faster.

The only small change I would make the base filter is "RECOLOR Items to Ascend" to only work with non-exalted rarity items.
That way it will not take priority over T7/T6 exalted item for your build that is lower on the list.
Other than that it looks really good, will be using it on my next build. Thanks!

Hi Rax! Thank you for this godly loot filter, this video helps me a lot as I’m new to LE. Also just wondering, coz I get confused. If I unchecked a part of the loot filter, that means it will be inactive right? So if it’s inactive, are those unwanted items will pop to my screen? I’m sorry I’m confused.
Linked Pastebin does not have the T7 affixes disabled that you describe at about 12:00

I’m trying to build this filter for my character but I’m not playing a set build (at least not one that I’ve found) it’s a Warlock with some Necro skills (summon skeleton and golem) I use ghost flame, chthonic fissure and blood rip as well. What I’ve been doing is hunting minion damage/health as well as flame/necrotic damage affixes. I also try to not sacrifice mana/health if I can. Would you have any insights on how to further my build or should I just keep going as is?

Hey Raxx, thanks for the filter. Now my issue is (running the Detonating Arrow Marksman) even though you say the red is obvious fir godly items I am a screen more more away before loot drops so I still never see it. Heh, EHG need to QOL mini-map icons for the loot filter! Ha!

Just hit lvl 8 on COF so I NEEDED to make my loot filter more efficient for exalts because I could barely keep up with gold and buying stash tabs already. This loot filter makes me want to create at least two more alts after hitting two lvl 95s and lvl 84 respectively. Thank you good sir and bless you.

This filter is exactly what I was looking for, though I think I found a minor bug - The "shatter class affixes" & "shatter useful affixes" rules specify magic & rare so if you drop an exalted item with a t6/7 version of those affixes it won't show. Adding exalted to the rarity check on those rules fixed it.

Shouldn't the "Recolor Items to Ascend" filter be below the "needed affixes" filters? that way you don't ascend something you could've shattered?

Lol people just get lazier each game, loot filters are very easy to setup, people just clearly don't find time while they are finding time to play :D ;D
Setting up loot filters is like setting up an overview that won't get you killed in Eve Online.
But it's fun. Masochistically fun. The passion Raxx oozes is ... You can light it on fire and it will burn. No one knows when it will stop but they have suspicions.
That aisde, Last Epoch is really cool. Reminds me of Chrono Trigger but only subtly. The characters are no where near as interesting. Story is meh but the mechanics are awesome.

Don't uncheck classes you don't intend to play! When crafting gear for slamming, any class' gear will work equally well and having the shards to craft on those pieces could be the difference between having a perfect slam item and a 50/50.
Using this right now, and compared to the previous maxroll levelling filter I'm seeing almost nothing. Which is great, I spend more time playing less time stashing / shattering / selling items. Hopefully I'll find an upgrade at some point. I did get a set item drop today, and there is no filter for those - are they just all poo? I added them to the uniques filter beause, y'kmow, sets. My ARPG / MMO brain can't handle the idea of ignoring set items.
Holy ......... I just cleared up 95% of my stash inventory. I have no plans to play more than one character per cycle.
Is there a specific filter for Merchant's guild? I'm not sure what to sell and what to throw/shatter and I always end up giving items for almost free.

For us Circle of Fortune folks looking for items to Ascend… I know there is no loot filter for CoF rank requirements, but do you know of any ways to further filter out items that are definitely NOT going to have this requirement? For the show items for ascending filter, would it be safe to filter out white/blue items? Or can they drop with a CoF rank requirement?

Raxx Do you forsee the detonate arrow dagger build getting nerfed? Im clearing Lvl 90 content at lvl 74 and im having a blast using it as a melee build. Its very very strong. But yeah do you know if its bugged or overperforming? im afraid they will take it away.
Does anyone know why when i equip a +53% fire damage my firs spells do more damage than a +57% fire damage? For example disintegrate does 105k with the first one and 92k with the second one. All other affixes are resistances. How does it make sense?

How do you handle all the trash during leveling? I have pretty strict filters looking only for affixes with 5+ at level 50, 4+ at level 40, 2 3+ at 30 and so on and I still get so much garbage I have to sort through.
I think this is a great filter, but I did find a couple of issues as a new player. #1. It doesn't seem to account for set items. Maybe they all suck and that's why? But they seem fun for leveling at the very least. #2. It seems very restrictive for weapon drops in general, aside from the Ascending Items rule and Exalted items.
Other than that, I'm honestly not familiar enough with the game to make any other observations.
Is there any all encompassing filter that will highlight various build strengths? I'm playing the merchant guild and trying to get up to the money required to get my LP3's is a bit daunting at times. I'd like to see other strong T6 and T7's. In that case should I just copy the T7 filter and change it to T6?
@first - amazing thing what you All have done.
From a prospectiv of a casual is one keypart missing. If you want to bring your build to roll you need a early or mid section for this. Two needed affixes on a magic/rare affix (magic to craft, rare to blind equip)
If you can add this in an idiotmethod - you are godly - godlier as you are already
Raxx, can you set your ascendance rule to only include rank items for Circle of Fortune or do we need to scan them for CoF rank if we want to get our Rune back. EDIT: I know you can just dump them in a stash tab and search for "rank" in the tab to quickly do it - wonder if theyll build rank y/n into loot filter.
Thanks for your work but I guess this filter shows too much for a new player. You get rares for other classes, too. Weapons you cant/dont wanna use. Affixes you dont want. I guess there are better Maxroll filter - like the one from b i n a. But thank you.
I will try this filter when leveling/the campaign is done and change the level range because you get too much garbage.
