I love how the solos get progressively more simplistic and the showmanship just takes over.
As a trumpet player, I can confirm this is realistic. If you ask 50 trumpet players which of them is the best, 60 of them will say "Me", lmao

When he turned the trumpet around and did that little blow... my stomach felt the pain of the laughs
My stomach just felt queasy. It's debateable whether spit actually reaches that far down the horn, or it's just condensation forming around the bell, but when you look at how much players blow out of the spit valves, you don't want your mouth anywhere near the other end!
These guys in the comments are late, I saw this in a 1960's dive bar at like 2 in the morning.

I like how they had one or two trumpeters take solos improvising over what Key and Peele did in this skit. That's dedication to the bit, and it works really well.
This is just another one of those days for the rhythm section.
