But a favorite, I think Megaman was very fun to play, and Zelda was very beautiful. JW - Are you going to play The Secret of Monkey Island? HB - Yeah it is there. JW - Oh, nice. HB - It was a raggae tune. Hard to sit still to. EP - Now we are going to listen to this, from Bergwaldhallen the concert Score.
It was easily my least favorite track out of all of the performances in this video. It legitimately made me feel uncomfortable and I skipped it. I suppose that's probably somewhat the intended effect, but it's not for me.
@@solstice1290 yeah its intended. you will find that pretty much all the bloodborne soundtracks were made to sound eerie and disturbing but there are also exeptions wich are just beautiful and epic like the gehrman soundtrack. it fits the horrifying game. bloodborne easily has the overall best and most consistent soundtrack ive ever heard in games but i guess its a matter of taste. its definitely unique and i personally love it. the soundtracks added a lot to the game and i still get extremely emotional when i listen to them.

_For those of us who can't use the links in the description._ Never thought about this! I noticed certain features were off, so I ended up switching browsers to access RUclips.
Vocalist is incredible. She can transform her voice from a flat, minimal vibrato folk sound to full-on operatic in the final aria. Everything about this video, the orchestra, the production, the made-up language that everyone is speaking for some reason, is amazing.
Yes! I also love how she basically became Celes in Viking form in the opera scene for a hot minute there at the end. They managed to put in so many tiny nods to so many games from so many generations.
@@FroggyMosh ff6 soundtrack was amazing for midi. hats off to ff15 for letting me enjoy it again. this entire performance is nostalgic and sublime. imagine if during the aria they had Ultros up on the balcony
@@davidfuller1698 ;) I was secretly looking for a hidden purple octopus. If I were there in the audience, I'd 100% hold a stuffed purple octopus up in the air. Toss it as a gift on to the stage at the end. :D And now I pictured 50 little stuffed Ultros' being lobbed at Sabrina.
The entire Bloodborne OST, along with the rest of the game, is utterly incredible. Prepare yourself though, if you've not played a Souls game, Bloodborne is... quite an experience. What you need... is more eyes.
The music in that game is stunning. Amelia and Gherman have incredible songs. The background music for the orphanage still puts me on edge. Souls games in general have astounding sound tracks.
I know I'm late to the party but oh man was that bloodborne performance nail biting in just the right way. Most incredible of all was the singer in my opinion. You could see the hair stand up on her body. The timid expression of hopelessness in her look. She became the music and it was outstanding. It made me cry to see her like that. Incredible performance by everyone.
I've been watching this for years, but I never get over how fluidly Sabina transforms her voice into a mournful wail just for this song. Props to the strings section as well. I felt that almost-indefinable drop in my gut I get every time I pick up Bloodborne that's SO entrancing.
Overall, this is the most professionally orchestrated and performed video game music I have ever heard. Bravo, Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra! Absolutely nailed it. And Sabina Zweiacker! What a wonderful, beautiful voice! She truly shines in everything she performs. My favorite pieces: Bloodborne (the thing is, I haven't even played the game, but hearing this I got goosebumps, fantastic music and performance), Zelda Suite and Skyrim.
Score or as it was called some years ago Play! have been going the rounds at least in europe for years now they use the local most well known orchester where they are. If you get the chance go to it it simly is awsome live.
You haven't played Bloodborne? Do it! It's incredible, though I'm obligated to warn you: You will get your jimmies rustled, your ass kicked and your head caved in. If your sanity survives all of that you'll have an amazing experience
fuck that they didnt capture the amazing melodies of the Final Fantasy series at all and they distort them till you couldnt even guess thats its final fantasy any more.
Kosmosyche, I couldn't agree more! This orchestra is phenomenal. I only wish they had a choir for The Dragonborn Comes. Still this is an amazing arrangement/performance!
This is how it's done. No awkward crowd banter, no flashy screens with footage, not choosing music from games simply because they are the most popular. Just a professional symphony playing the best video game music flawlessly. Take notes, Video Games Live.
Why so rude? Its obviously his opinion and i would agree. So if you dont maybe tell us what you think in a more gentle way. You dont honor your Profilename otherwise
Personally I love Video Games Live. Something like this is still fine. I just feel like the two are for different types of audiences. This one is obviously for people who are just here for the music and just want to take it in, and I can certainly understand that! Video Games Live though, is for people who want to have a lively experience and have a fun time, its a bit more of a Rock-Show rather than an orchestral performance, and that is also fine if people want that!
The Bloodborne suite is haunting yet, beautiful! I don't mind admitting and I don't know why but I almost teared up a little! I have no clue why!! Amazing!!!
Oh man, the Zelda Medley... I was born in '84 and my mom was opposed to video games, as a kid I was lucky to experience The Legend of Zelda: a Link to the Past one or two days at a friend's house. The game made a HUGE impact on me, though I only saw a few hours of it. I continued my live learning about classical music and of course playing video games. Many years later I find this concert on RUclips. This Zelda Medley is the perfect realization of all those feelings I had as a kid, and much more, in the full way that a classical orchestra can achieve. Who that compares this medley to famous symphonies or concertos cannot admit that this medley provides the same breadth of human experience? I'm not sure that I can point to another piece that truly and greatly express the feeling of adventure, of wonder, so true to the original - all in such an exquisite expressive way, leveraging all the instruments of the orchestra! I also notice that the lead celloist, violinist, harp and of course ocarina/flute are women - it's so nice to see! The cello in particular I feel is so strong and deep here. I was born a man but so long have noticed that a lot of subtleties of sentiment are best realized by women. Well done - this is one the most memorable performances I've enjoyed in my life - I'm only 37 and have been to a lot of live classical concerts especially by the Gulbenkian Orchestra in Lisbon, Portugal. As a fan of videogames, I hope the medium continues to grow and inspire the best composers over the years. Cheers!
I got to see one of the late 2017 performances of SCORE at Berwaldhallen. Many tears were shed, not even ashamed of it. It was absolutely one of my top 5 experiences ever.
Culture, music and arts of all forms is supported and encouraged by the Swedish government! Art is everywhere to find in Stockholm, the town-square (Sergels Torg) is never the same month for month! Always a new installation of some sort. The whole subway-system is a flowing artinstallation. It's pretty cool :)
@@wickedawesomeo Not only in Stockholm it is found across the nation every major town has atleast one museum, one of my favorites is Östersunds christmasmarket in Jamtli outdoor museum.
For the Amiga Medley part, I would say: 19:33 It Came From the Desert - Greg Haggard, Jim Simmons (Ken Melville wrote the game, not the music for this one) 20:16 Monkey Island - Michael Land 22:07 Wings - Ken Melville 22:55 Flashback - Raphael Gesqua 24:20 Populous - Rob Hubbard 24:48 Turrican - Chris Huelsbeck
Video game soundtracks, I would argue more so then any other form of media entertainment's soundtracks, provide the most compelling and emotional soundtracks. As we play as the game's character or characters, we experience the world in a far more personal way being involved with the actions and the outcomes. Music accompanies this so majestically in so many cases that it enhances our experiences with it. Just imagine, for a moment, how monumentally different games such as those in the "SoulsBorne" series would be without the rising songs accompanying dramatic, intense and often emotional boss fights. Or, almost unspeakably, the Legend of Zelda games without the iconic music from both the instruments and in game areas/boss fights there. So many different franchises, so many utterly breathtaking soundtracks that leave me reeling as much as any other in game experience. Truly a privilege to live during a period of such monumental composers and musicians. To be able to experience their work across a wide array of outlets, to benefit from their work. Not to forget the amazing work the game designers do to give the music an almost physical embodiment. We in the world who have both the privilege and indeed the desire to experience such things are very fortunate in a very "life's luxuries" sort of way, but its still very much the case. Thank you so much for uploading this, it was truly special. Hats off to the orchestra, though, that was really quite amazing.
I would argue that the soundtrack becomes truly a work of art, if it can stand on its own, without accompanying or enhancing anything or reminding us of our past experiences with the game. In that respect, I don't think there are many soundtracks (to games or movies) that confidently transcend the line of being auxillary to the game experience and become it's own separate "thing". But I agree, Zelda and Bloodborne themes are among those few pieces. How do I know? Well, I have never played a single Zelda game in my life and I've never played Bloodborne either, and still I am very impressed and emotionally touched by these compositions. I think, I feel and understand their inner narrative, what they are all about, what feelings they convey, and I don't need to play their respective games to appreciate them.
It shows that the original composers knew what they were doing. Even in the case of Zelda were much of the original tunes was in 8-bit games back in the 80's. They conveyed a lot of feelings even when limited by technology.
James Pellegrom I didn't read the last half of what you said but completely agree personally I think one the best soundtracks is the halo soundtracks even if you don't care for the game the soundtrack is amazing and honestly makes the game better
True story. A good orchestral performance of Zelda music will bring a tear to my eye every time, simply because so much of my time growing up was invested in living that story.
Several of the songs from Final Fantasy franchise have been played around the world by orchestras that were not intended to be linked with games. The main theme for Final Fantasy 8 was played during the 2008 Olympics for example. One winged angel has been played many many times.
Today marks the 2 year anniversary of the second of two SCORE concerts with the Swedish Radio Symphony and Sabina Zweiacker in Berwaldhallen, Stockholm 2015. That was the night that this performance was filmed and later broadcasted on Swedish television. Next week, we're back at the scene of the crime. A handful of tickets still left! - Orvar Safstrom / producer SCORE
I've been watching it almost since it was uploaded all the time and I just got back from my trip I took to see this show too. It was a dream come true for me! I did a stealth recording of the new FF7 portion if your interested in a video of that. ruclips.net/video/OxJb65zzOEU/видео.html
Shows the wonderful spread of music and themes in video games, really! Have to say though, the Mario music has come quite a way from the blips and blops of the 80s. Wow!
The Mega Man suite gets me every time. While the music from some of the more recent games like Skyrim and Bloodborne is impressive, these games were pretty much already orchestral sounding to begin with; that's why the interpretation of older games is more meaningful to me. Despite being simple midi sounds, the old games had tunes that still stuck in your head...hearing instrumental interpretations of these, let alone with a full orchestra, is always fun and inspiring. Time to go play some old games on my emulators and curse a lot, lol. Cheers!
It's actually based on an arrangement of the song that Malukah did a number of years ago. ruclips.net/video/4z9TdDCWN7g/видео.html The host mentioned her in the intro, although if you don't speak Swedish and don't know about Malukah, there's no reason you'd know what he was talking about. She's actually done a bunch of Skyrim covers, such that she got hired to sing songs for Elder Scrolls Online.
Summary of what they're saying in the beginning: Håkan: "One of the things I'm most impressed about is how positive the public has reacted to this music. They have been very engaged and concentrated in the music. Jimmy: "I think it's very cool that orchestras play game-music. *Proceeds to give example*" Håkan: "We are building up layers in the music until we go all out in the end" She's asking: "Is it complicated?" Håkan: "You have to play it very powerfully and requires a lot of stamina over a long period. It's very heroic." Håkan: "Don't really have any favorite piece. Thinks all the titles are very different / cool compared to traditional classical music. Like blood-born etc."
@@gyrrakavian More or less. This is a quick translation of the presentation Orvar did of that piece (typed hastily while listening to the FF music): According to the FN charter; If you do a concert with film music you must play something by John Williams. We at SCORE has managed to get an addendum that specifies that if you do a concert with game music you have to play something by a modest Japanese gentleman called Nobou Uematsu. Uematsu is primarily known for [ironically and loving tone] a small series called Final Fantasy. I think we will be sitting here to after midnight if we have to agree to which part of Final Fantasy is best. And even longer if we have to agree which sound track is best. So for that reason I have chosen for you. After the large successes with FF7 & 8 is was decided to bring the series back to fantasy from an almost science fiction feeling the series had shifted too. Fable animals, quirky knights and exiting adventures. Uematsus music follows this shift in tone with many touching points in classical music. This also happens to be Uematsus favorite sound track from the Final Fantasy series. So this ladies and gentlemen is Final Fantasy 9.
There's something ethereal about hearing "I Was Born for This" live. Games like Journey don't have the action-heavy and intense sequences that games like Bloodborne has, but their music really does strike at your soul.
Not an accident Journey had the first entire videogame OST nominated for a Grammy. I heard the clip begin with the Journey piece and I was done - there was no way anything coming after that was going to be as good.
Aaah same! It's been ages since I played Journey and listened to its soundtrack separely, but I was so surprised that they chose the game to feature in their orchestra. It's a beautiful game with a gorgeous, heartfelt track.
+kundar666 Mine too, and I seen a few. This one I got the impression that everyone involved took the whole project more serious than others do. Like they really put effort into the arrangements, allt the little details in the percussion, a great soprano… the previous concert of the same kind have been more lulz and "meh".
+jonasvalfridsson Yeah, I got the same impression. First, I think they have carefully chosen compositions that really stand out, not just some random mediocre pieces from most recent blockbuster titles - just to pander to the fans. Also they didn't shy away from difficult compositions, both technically and emotionally. For example, that Bloodborne theme - that was, by any standards, truly intense and spectacular performance, which is evidence of a much more serious approach than the usual "let's cash in on stupid nerds, lolz".
kosmosyche My thoughts exactly! I think this is the way to make these type of concerts more interesting, choose the great music (and not just the great games). That could make the regular concert-goers who like Beethoven and Brahms interested as well. :)
By far the best rendition of The Dragonborn Comes I have ever heard in my life. Jeremy Soul himself would be proud of this, needless to say. Sabina, your voice is truly divine, I am not joking when I say, that if someone from say, 2000 years ago were to travel to our time and witness you singing this, they would truly believe that you are a Goddess, because this cannot possibly be a human creation. Absolute perfection, it simply couldnt be better.
@@sabinazweiacker7117 I had Chills, Goosebumps and Tears streaming down my face just now. Wow, Did you bring that to life. Stellar! And you went into Aria The Mezzo Carattere, and became Celes for a minute there. Truly beautiful, the entire performance!
With all due respect to Sabina Zweiacker, this rendition was based on what Malukah, a Mexican RUclipsr, did some 9 years ago. Still the original, and best, version, hands down. This may be the best SINCE.
in highschool i payed the sax and piano/keyboard/bells. once, we played a song that featured an ocarina, and i was thrilled and stunned when the director assigned me to play the part, which had several solos. He said that i was who he trusted to learn a new instrument in the relatively short time (granted we were all young). it was great honor to me and one ive never forgotten.
Is it just me, or is Sabina able to adapt her own singing style to fit the song? In the first suite, she sings with an almost celtic or tribal tone, but totally adopts a beautiful authentic opera tone in the final song. Extremely accomplished vocalist!! Simply outstanding!!
This concert is like a hidden jewel here on youtube :) I can listen to it over and over again. It desevers much more views! Oh and also, I just love the Swedish language. Even though I don't understand it at all, everytime I hear Swedish men talk, it sounds so warmhearted and gentleman-like^^ (hope that doesn't sound too weird o.o)
+Vileste You know, there are many other videogame themed concerts on youtube. Nothing new. Only amazing thing about this one is that it was on national tv.
+Suspect on foot[FIN] Yes I know. When I wrote this comment, the video had less than 100k clicks, that's why I said "hidden jewel". It's also the song variety that make this concert quite special for me (except the Final Fantasy ones, these are overhyped imo). None of the concerts I've seen so far feature so many different games, but please correct me if there are other orchestras like this.
It's true. I'm Swedish, and took 3 years of German in highschool. German was really difficult language to learn, and I never became fluent in it. Not even close. However, I can read German and understand it fairly well because so many words are similar. It's weird how that works.
A lot of video game orchestrations DESERVE shows like this. If we can get people like Hanz Zimmer and Danny Elfman to make music for games, I mean, come on, that's enough to make it worthy.
That dungeon theme from the Legend of Zelda Suite was freaking fantastic!!! And Sabina Zweiacker is simply enchanting, especially with the Bloodborne song. Man, this is such a great orchestra!
MY GOD, 123:40, when the piano kicks in, CHILLS. Memories of my childhood in my basement, all alone, playing through Zelda on NES, making PAGES after PAGES of paper maps, nightmares of the difficult dungeons and that song, but I made it through and beat them all in the end. I literally was haunted in my sleep because of those dungeons and that song is of my struggle. I completed Zelda on NES though, at like age 11. :)
An absolute classic, often overlooked in a series full of iconic songs. I've wanted to hear a really good, professional arrangement for years, and this one made my jaw hit the floor.
Jonas Taghizadeh oh yes and then this lady singing it makes it even into another level of beauty and art, those last notes and perfect timbre.... Celes would be proud!
All this is quite exquisite! But, for me, and after listening to many orchestral performances since I was born in '84, the Bloodborne theme is absolutely chilling to the bone and the Zelda medley supremely Majestic! When I was young, my mom wouldn't let me have a console, so I only got to experience Zelda 2: A Link to the Past (SNES game) on my PC lots of years later, emulated. This Zelda medley encapsulated all the sense of wonder and adventure in that music, but realized in such a deep way with all the orchestra and the interplay between the different instruments contributing to those feelings of wonder, adventure - everything is just so magical, enrapturing and captivating! A testament to the power of videogames and also Music and an orchestra that can bring these feelings to life with all the different instruments and players. And then as an adult, unshackled by anything, I had a PS4 and played Bloodborne, and then found this performance, that encapsulates so well that Universe and experience, the depth, the power, the darkness!... Such a great concert altogether - thanks for the share! Many years later, after growing to love Classical Music and listening to countless (live and at home) performances to Classical pieces, this Concert (in particular the Zelda medley) is particularly special in truly showing that videogames are not just a gratuitous childish things, but a media that can encompass all that humanity has learned before and bring froth in a new, interactive medium!
Sabina Zweiacker omg it's you!! Thank you so so so so so so so much for doing that aria so beautifully, words cannot describe such a thing. Thank you!!
@@sabinazweiacker7117 Your rendition of the Aria De Mezzo Carrattere is still one of my favorites to this day. You captured the character of Maria and her plight beautifully with your vocals.
I was going to write something snarky about people only liking stuff like this because they feel clever recognizing songs, but then they played the Monkey Island Theme and I felt clever for recognizing the song so ... yeah.
It's part of the "Amiga medley" that's why it isn't specified individually. It's placed very good since it connects assassins creeds pirate theme with the next suite :)
The best "video game " orchestra concert ever. If you wouldn't have told me it was game music, I could listen to the whole piece without a clue. Great work, excellent arrangements, professional, hope I'll see this orchestra playing someday.
Man...the first parts of The Legend of Zelda before Ganon left me in tears. Just when I thought I was done crying, the woman starts playing on the Ocarina. The memories.....damn ;_;
19:30 The Amiga medley contains: The Secret of Money Island, North and South, Wings, Flashback, Populous and Turrican, in that order. But there are more in between. Anyone knows more?
While they turned these into amazing music, they were really hard to recognize for me. I mean.. I played the hell out of Turrican back in the day, for example, but I only recognized that when the main theme came up.
My god....i cried when i heard 53:40 Bloodborne......just amazing.....so epic... i lost words.... dropped my jaws open and then when this part came(56:40) i just couldn't bear anymore the feels, the terror, the coldness, the fear, the emptiness, the horrors and those stories from Bloodborne hit me so hard... i just had to cry ;(
Honestly, the entire soundtrack of Bloodborne is like a movie score. I would easily pay to go see a concert of it live. Especially if they included tracks from The Old Hunters.
This was incredibly amazing!!! The performance was truly flawless. The sound is incredible, and the choice of tracks, while not your typical set-list, is very interesting. Definitely aimed for people who really love video game music and enjoy it beyond the most recognizable ones. That Bloodborne suite, magnificent!!!
Bloodborne! My Lord! What was this? I would pay any amount to see just this performance. I cried. I remembered parts of the game. Thank you, Vocals, Conductor and Orchestra.
Love how long the zelda theme takes to get to the iconic bit we're all waiting for. We know it's coming- it's like they're teasing us by having little echoes of it throughout the piece and amping the music up and up before settling back down.
The score from SKYRIM when performed here, its just..... I lack words.... I litterally started crying. The hairs on my arms stood up...! It just mooved me so much.! Music hold so much power.!
I saw this live that evening and holy moly, it was so awesome :D It was so much fun that they didn't pick only superfamous musical pieces, but picked from a vast collection of games :) Like the Amiga-medley!
Holy shit that moment when the full Legend of Zelda theme FINALLY comes crashing in with full force at 1:27:20 after being teased for a few times before left goosebumps all over my body.
This concert is so awesome! I’m so proud of the Swedish symphony. Next time I want to hear something from the Metal Gear Saga, Nier Automata, Street Fighter and the Ace Attorney series.

EP - You are playing in this concert that we are going to show. Do you have a favorite set?
HB - Well, it was a lot of sets that week. A thick folder. What I found amusing was the titles; like Bloodborne and Assasins Creed. I thought, what is this music gonna be like. But a favorite, I think Megaman was very fun to play, and Zelda was very beautiful.

Incredible performance by everyone.

Cheers!
thanks for sharing! keep practicing! cheers, in the glory of videogame music!

20:16 Monkey Island - Michael Land
22:07 Wings - Ken Melville
22:55 Flashback - Raphael Gesqua

24:48 Turrican - Chris Huelsbeck

James Pellegrom I didn't read the last half of what you said but completely agree
personally I think one the best soundtracks is the halo soundtracks
even if you don't care for the game the soundtrack is amazing and honestly makes the game better
Bloodborne is fantastic, liked the emotions of a singer

It's kinda funny how they performed a happy-go-lucky Mario suite, then did the dreadfully amazing Bloodborne suite.
Shows the wonderful spread of music and themes in video games, really! Have to say though, the Mario music has come quite a way from the blips and blops of the 80s. Wow!
Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra needs to put this on Spotify!
Cheers!

Håkan: "One of the things I'm most impressed about is how positive the public has reacted to this music. They have been very engaged and concentrated in the music.
Jimmy: "I think it's very cool that orchestras play game-music. *Proceeds to give example*"
Håkan: "We are building up layers in the music until we go all out in the end"
She's asking: "Is it complicated?"
Håkan: "You have to play it very powerfully and requires a lot of stamina over a long period. It's very heroic."
Håkan: "Don't really have any favorite piece. Thinks all the titles are very different / cool compared to traditional classical music. Like blood-born etc."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but he called Nobou Uematsu the John Williams of video game music, right?
[EDIT: corrected mispellings]
@@gyrrakavian More or less. This is a quick translation of the presentation Orvar did of that piece (typed hastily while listening to the FF music):
According to the FN charter; If you do a concert with film music you
must play something by John Williams. We at SCORE has managed to get
an addendum that specifies that if you do a concert with game music
you have to play something by a modest Japanese gentleman called Nobou
Uematsu.
Uematsu is primarily known for [ironically and loving tone] a small
series called Final Fantasy. I think we will be sitting here to after
midnight if we have to agree to which part of Final Fantasy is
best. And even longer if we have to agree which sound track is
best. So for that reason I have chosen for you.
After the large successes with FF7 & 8 is was decided to bring the
series back to fantasy from an almost science fiction feeling the
series had shifted too. Fable animals, quirky knights and exiting
adventures. Uematsus music follows this shift in tone with many
touching points in classical music. This also happens to be Uematsus
favorite sound track from the Final Fantasy series. So this ladies
and gentlemen is Final Fantasy 9.

There's something ethereal about hearing "I Was Born for This" live.

Always cry like a child when I listen to the opera theme from FF6 (last song). Must be one of the best video game songs ever...
Sabina, the moment you started singing in the ff6 segment, I immediately shed a tear. Your voice and singing are PERFECT for this piece. Bravo......
thank you dear Brandon.
I've watched this so many times. Gotta be the best orchestrated videogame music video out there.
Quality video game scores, along with quality film scores, are the opera of our time.
I was going to write something snarky about people only liking stuff like this because they feel clever recognizing songs, but then they played the Monkey Island Theme and I felt clever for recognizing the song so ... yeah.
It's at 20:40 something :D wonderd why it's not in the discription, wnt down here to see if someone in the comments thought so too :D
That's so awesome!
It's part of the "Amiga medley" that's why it isn't specified individually. It's placed very good since it connects assassins creeds pirate theme with the next suite :)
The Secret of Monkey Island and Super Mario World are the first videogames I was ever exposed to (thanks, older sister).
The Monkey Island score is not enjoyable because it's recognizable, but because it's FREAKIN' EPIC.
Bloodborne...and I just lost my jimmies
I'll pick them up for you.
Thank you ^_^
Sooo scary song!
Yeah, I was tabbed out and suddenly heard those first few notes...chill down my spine.
Instantly assumed defensive position
My stomach was shaking every time I breathed out. Like I was about to cry or laugh. Bloodborne feeling overload.
that megaman suite was nostalgic AF... well with Skyrim, FF VI, and Zelda, the tears was flowing like waterfalls as well...
The Last Of Us - All Gone No Escape: 38:10
This makes me sad, flashbacks to the game running for the elevator. The last of us. Such an amazing game.
That Bloudbourne piece will haunt me for the remain of my days. Never played the game, but I am truly amazed.
Great orchestra and genious vocals!
This is probably the most amazing orchestrated iteration of video game music I've ever heard.
The best "video game " orchestra concert ever. If you wouldn't have told me it was game music, I could listen to the whole piece without a clue. Great work, excellent arrangements, professional, hope I'll see this orchestra playing someday.
Man...the first parts of The Legend of Zelda before Ganon left me in tears. Just when I thought I was done crying, the woman starts playing on the Ocarina. The memories.....damn ;_;
Cannot agree more. The music from Zelda is very special indeed:)
19:30 The Amiga medley contains:
The Secret of Money Island, North and South, Wings, Flashback, Populous and Turrican, in that order. But there are more in between. Anyone knows more?
THANK YOU for writing this! Baffling why they didnt include in the description.
The 1st 40 seconds of the Amiga medley is from: "It Came From the Desert" (from Cinemaware).
Thank you! This needs to be upvoted!
While they turned these into amazing music, they were really hard to recognize for me. I mean.. I played the hell out of Turrican back in the day, for example, but I only recognized that when the main theme came up.
I can't get behind the Monkey Island. Keep rewinding to where it starts. :) I want a full soundtrack with this orchestra.
bloodborne gave me legit chills
My god....i cried when i heard 53:40 Bloodborne......just amazing.....so epic...
i lost words.... dropped my jaws open
and then when this part came(56:40) i just couldn't bear anymore
the feels, the terror, the coldness, the fear, the emptiness, the horrors
and those stories from Bloodborne hit me so hard...
i just had to cry ;(
김영범. Someone understands. Thank you
Sabina Zweiacker is a force of nature
Honestly, the entire soundtrack of Bloodborne is like a movie score. I would easily pay to go see a concert of it live. Especially if they included tracks from The Old Hunters.
Never played Bloodborne, no idea what this game is about, but what an insane score! It was fantastic !
dude I cried at Skyrim. I feel you.
I would not have been surprised if during the Bloodborn suit Sabina would open up her arm and just rise up.
You can really tell some of the younger nerds that grew up with this music are digging it. That ocarina player really made a moment
The FF VI opera song was originally composed on the SNES.
Beautiful version of this song.
The assassins creed one, shivers!
+Mal Cronin Or maybe......SHIVER ME TIMBERS?
RazorSoul ART aha
+Mal Cronin time stamp please!
DoieGaming SW In the description
+Mal Cronin ah my bad, Thought I looked there and couldnt find it, lol!
The Dragonborn Comes & Aria The Mezzo Carattere:
pure shivers. She so good.
This is soooooo good! The bloodborne interpretation send chills down my spine!
Wow, Bloodborne was so menacing and then The Dragonborn Comes is just so emotional
Megaman holy crap!Never heard it sound like that.
Yeah it really took my breath away
Bloodborne!
Also love the fact that one of the flutists learned how to play the ocarina just for this theme.
Her range is incredible.
It's great when you see a conductor getting into it.
And the zoom in's on the tiny cymbals made me smile....
Sabina Zweiacker should sing some Witcher 3 Wild Hunt themes... beautiful voice
Chrono trigger, Crypt of the necrodancer, Deus Ex, and last, but certainly not least, the Mass Effect trilogy.
whoa! bloodborne is my favorite!
