Perhaps, but at that time musical rules were much more strict -it was a lot more formulaic and he wouldn't have had the freedom to write a lot of the music he does - it would have come across as radical and weird and he may not have been successful in that era. I often wonder what would have happened if someone like Ed Sheeran could time travel back to classical times and perform to the greats and what they would have thought...

I love epic/dramatic/church music, especially with atmospheric dark paintings to look at when I have the time to sit down (I forgot the name for that genre)... It somehow brings me closer to God when I am down, makes me overwhelmed with emotion. It is beautiful.

Wonderful Epic music. Just a thought more: there is a difference between nowadays and Mozart period (Mozart himself). That Mozart played, today it is the Orchestra's talent that realize the marvellous sensations we have - besides the excellent creation of the composer. Wonderful Epic music. Just a thought more: there is a difference between nowadays and Mozart period (Mozart himself). That Mozart played, today it is the Orchestra's talent that realize the marvellous sensations we have - besides the excellent creation of the composer. I am so sorry we often forget who materially executes, realize a work.
