Although Hans Zimmer composed the Pirates 2, 3, etc. scores, and was heavily involved in the production & recording of Pirates 1, Klaus Badelt actually composed all of the original score/themes/music on Pirates 1...! Have to give credit where it's due, as it's one of the greatest scores ever IMHO. Hans did a great job though of taking Klaus Badelt's Pirates 1 score, keeping the same themes throughout the Pirate sequels and adding/composing his own themes where necessary... Having said that, I didn't check to see which Pirates themes in this mix by Samuel Kim were from the Pirates 1 movie, if any!? Either way this is an awesome mashup!!

I'd say the response line fits Anakin's personality better, not to mention I can easily imagine someone saying this to Anakin, since he was regarded by many as not exactly fitting the mold of a proper Jedi.

Furthermore I would use my logical thinking to detect the ship the Rebel Admiral Ackbar is on to destroy it with the Deathstar. I also would place all my groundtroops at the shield generator and erase all trees in a radius of 100m so they can see enemies early enough (just for caution)

I just happened to stumble upon this gem when searching for livelier music to help me study since many of the ASMRs I was using were so calming and soothing that I started to fall asleep doing school work. lol To combine both the Star Wars and Pirates themes is really awesome and I'm sure extremely tricky, especially when trying to nail the timing correctly. I feel like I'm listening to a modern version of Mozart or Bach right now. Really epic, awesome music. Keep going, and fantastic job!

Love this. John Williams and Hans Zimmer are too good for this world, and Samuel Kim you have combined some of their best works beautifully in this mix. Excellent work. As an aside, have you ever heard of the Curse of Monkey Island? It's an old Lucasarts game that has an amazing soundtrack. I would love to hear what you could do with it. Same thing with the Spelunky 2 soundtrack. That game just came out I think but it's also got super good music.
This is awesome as you think it could sound depressive in some kind of way... but it does not. It sounds powerful and epic in a "soft" kind of way.... like phoenix rising. Great combination.

What I really love is the heroic adventure sounding Battle of the Heroes. Almost as if it is a theme for Obi Wan and Anakin before the great duel.

As an aside, have you ever heard of the Curse of Monkey Island? It's an old Lucasarts game that has an amazing soundtrack. I would love to hear what you could do with it. Same thing with the Spelunky 2 soundtrack. That game just came out I think but it's also got super good music.

This is awesome as you think it could sound depressive in some kind of way... but it does not. It sounds powerful and epic in a "soft" kind of way.... like phoenix rising. Great combination.
