Ramen looks fantastic. Just slight correction though, based on the michelin stickers, this place is only on the michelin guide, but does not have a star. That's actually a pretty large distinction.
yep. this ramen looks pretty small. I wouldn't pay more than $10 for it and that'd be on the expensive side. just using an immersion blender for the soup doesn't make it high-end

@@OnigiriLove I’m Korean and this bowl or ramen is snack size to me, I would need at least 3 servings of this to make it a meal for me. The new generation especially men seem more petite like BTS.

They cook the chicken sous vide so tender it looks like fois gras 😻 every knife cut during the video, whether over veggie or meat, was spectacular. Watching the egg peeling was satisfying. Great video!!!! I would love a bowl 😋

I've been to every single Oreno Ramen location in Seoul and my god, every single restaurant is fantastic. please, if you ever go to Seoul, you HAVE to eat there.

Too bad I didn't try this when I was in South Korea, I tried Korean cuisine instead, but next time I'll definitely remember to go there.
I ate a lot of ramens in Japan though, and most of them were delicious.
i'm more interested to hear about the ones you didn't enjoy. sometimes i have a bad experience with my ramen shops but it's usually because i order something off the wall that i end up not liking, like curry ramens.. can't gel with those, at least yet
did you have the korean fried chicken? it's been over 10 years and i still remember the first time I bit into that spicy honey glazed crack wing. So glad it's become a thing now in socal.

When you're using whole chickens for stock and don't see the meat used anywhere in the finish product, that's pretty fancy.

All that huge amount of whole chiken and beef meat/ribs for stock but nowhere to be found in finished product, poelrk roulette that you can almost see through its slice, all that machinery that does almost all work for cooks??? I find all of this pretty"fancy" for a very common and even "dull" result. But hey, I guess that not the taste&soul putted in your dish that really matters for Michlin, but all that unnecessary use of tons of products with tons of unnecessary moves and machinery for cooking your very so so dish. 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 No, thanks. I've seen and tasted much better real Ramen in Japan, all kinds of it, and it were without any Michlin stars, but you definitely felt soul and love for what the cooker did there. Oh, and yes, it all were much richer with products and meat in it than here. This one is a joke!!! 🤡

It isn't what it used to be, reserved for the very best in quality and consistency. I'm sorry if you don't like the way the TIRE COMPANY issues its awards, but that's just how it is.

@@TehPieLuver it's quite simple, just calculate the difference by dividing the assumptions. So if this were 100litre pot, just divide it by 10 litres instead and measure ingredients accordingly. Or in my case, if I had a 10litre pot, I'd throw in a while chicken and double of the seasoning for extra strength and simmer for as long as possible
@@trcs3079 From what it seems a whole chicken and some pork carcass should work for the broth, toppings and oils are fairly simple as well so I agree this should be doable
@@TehPieLuver I can get a much better stock from simmering chicken bones for 6 hours and using various vegetables than the usual msg loaded restaurant soup. It doesn’t seem like you are writing from experience yourself.

Love the emulsification technique, I’ve used this before and it’s a good technique to give the creamy texture without the heaviness. Give the illusion that it’s rich but it’s actually lighter than you would think
