Just watching the opening sequence where he comes in, gets some claps and flashes and widens that million dollar smile with a slight laugh of unbridled joy: this man is pure authenticity. I couldn't wish him anymore success than I already do... and thank god he's at the helm of men's tennis whose future looks a lot brighter now.

Peut-être que sur le papier, c'était le tournoi qu'il souhaitait gagner. Mais honnêtement, battre Djokovic à Wimbledon est un exploit immense dans l'histoire du tennis. Une marque digne des plus grands

Only injuries can stop this man from many more majors. The only part of his game that needs improvement is cutting back on the grunting.

Grunting is part of his game. Either we like it or not.

You don't know that though. No one knows what player might come along or if there is a player already on tour who ends up dominating Sinner/Alcaraz as Djokovic did to Nadal/Federer....no one foresaw that. The future is unwritten.

Helped by the biggest mistake of an umpire in history, he should be suspended

The hawkeye has a margin of error of 2-3mm. The ball was within that margin of error. Also, I like Zverev, and he had several more chances to break him after that controversial shot, but didn’t. AND, there were several more controversial calls AFTER the one you are referring to here which went Zverev’s way. What they should do, however, is either use one system of judging (umpire) vs. another (hawkeye), NOT both, because doing so is stupid, since it brings about these unnecessary unhappiness.
