    He is out. For good. His meniscus is too worn down, and it was exactly the same problem Roger had. They are done at this age. Also Nadal. You can go until you are 35, and then that's it. Djokovic's knee problem is also clearly a result of his extreme performance last year. It kicks in now. I really believe that he is totally finished as a top-tennis player, but he go what he wanted, Nadal is not going to challenge his 24 GS titles, so I think Djokovic can be satisfied enough. And money are there in abundance. He had a good life and a good career. Congrats to him! Bye, Mister GOAT.

    Tous ces gens qui disent qu'il est inhumain.... Il faut pas exagérer, il joue très bien, c'est un champion, mais de là à l'aduler et l'élever au rang de sur-homme.....Au delà de la performance tennistique je déteste la personnalité de ce joueur. Il est prétentieux, il se permet de manquer de respect aux ramasseurs de balles, aux arbitres en leur balanssant des balles, à ses entraineurs en leur criant dessus quand il perd 2 points alors qu'il vient de gagner le 4ème set face à Cerundolo, à certains de ses adversaires, sans parler de ses mensonges sur son vaccin du Covid pour participer à l'Open d'Australie, et sous prétexte qu'il est numéro 1 mondial, on lui permet tout ? Non je ne suis pas d'accord, il joue bien, mais ce sont les même règles pour tout le monde, les sanctions qu'il a eues auront été méritées. Sa blessure est triste, mais je trouve que ça sert bien sa réputation... Il a réussi à gagner un match en étant blessé, cela ne le rend que plus grand aux yeux des fans.... Il reste un immense champion, mais je trouve qu'il y a beaucoup de comédie autour de sa personne. On n'aurait jamais eu ce genre d'attitudes de la part d'un Nadal, d'un Federer, ou d'une Justine Henin. En fait, je le trouve hypocrite. Peut-être qu'il ne l'est pas, mais je trouve que c'est l'impression qu'il donne. On peut ne pas être d'accord avec moi, mais c'est mon opinion que j'aimerais qu'on respecte. 😊
    C'est aussi dommage pour Cerundolo, pourquoi ne pas faire jouer Ruud contre lui ? Il sera avantagé pour son prochain match par rapport à son adversaire.

    Djokovic was both very clever and a bit lucky to win against Musetti and Cerundolo. He knew that the next match would be more difficult and he would have lost it for sure. Therefore, he decided to leave the tournament as a winner rather than as a looser. Typical of Djokovic's way of behaving: I think it was very very unfair to his competitors.

    • @JS-ln4ns
      @JS-ln4ns 3 месяца назад +1

      The logic you guys have is astounding. Which is more likely, (1) Djokovic was winning comfortably and then felt something happen to his knee. while he was ahead 6-1, and on-serve in the second set. He called for the trainer and took pain killers which didn't fully kick in until the 4th set, at which time he was able to do just enough to win; OR, (2)Djokovic was winning comfortably, did NOT feel anything in his knee, but called the trainer and asked the score of the Ruud match, then decided to begin faking an injurty with the intention of dodging Caspar Ruud in the next round. Why on earth would you believe this second narrative unless you have pudding for brains?

    • @rons6060
      @rons6060 3 месяца назад

      @@JS-ln4ns way to misconstrue my premise and then debunk it. Very convenient. I was not talking about whether he was faking an injury or not. I’m addressing his complaining about the playing conditions. He blows everything out of proportion when things don’t go his way. The dramatic falling, getting into it with fans, his own team, the ref. Whereas cerundolo was playing the same way throughout the match. If this was a one off, you would have a point. He is very consistent with these theatrics

    • @JS-ln4ns

He’s just playing up his injury because he’s a diva, right? It’s all theatrics, right? Whenever you find yourself THIS wrong about something, you need to ask yourself if you aren’t just a tad biased. Why would we cry we got to see decades of great tennis lol. Novak could win 30 slams and it wouldn't change how much I enjoyed ao 17.
      Why not just enjoy Novak winning because you like his tennis/him?

      @@Somone_final_final_v2 Oh, I enjoy Novak winning, because I like him and his tennis.
      I enjoyed it for the last 20 years, and still do.
      Also, I do enjoy the fact that all the haters - mostly Federer and Nadal fans - are now in RUINS.
      All the barking, lying, dissing, all the hatred and putting him down (and Serbs, Russians, etc) - e.g. his family, personal life, personal choices, origin, personal values (vaxxing, etc), his style of play, even his looks... all the tricks that ATP played on him... and oh so much more...
      All of that and all of them deserve what IS.
      And what IS - is that Novak Djokovic, a Serb, is the GOAT of tennis. The greatest athlete that the world has ever seen.
      I also enjoy the fact that tennis is now (and in the future) ruled by Serbs, Slavs, Russians... Things are falling into their place, finally.

    If the knee injury is real then it's hard to imagine him playing in the next round given that knee injuries take weeks (at least) to recover from. Even a minor sprain to a ligament takes at least a couple of weeks to repair and recover from. It would be helpful if Djokovic wasn't so vague about this and what specific pain and/or limitations he was dealing with.

      He is faking injury again like he did at the last year's AO. No way he could play five sets with the kind of knee injury he was talking about.

      Je dirais que c'est parce qu'il a confiance en son propre système immunitaire et en son médecin personnel - et qu'un virus semblable à une grippe (pour une personne en bonne santé) et une blessure physique en pleine compétition sont deux choses différentes.
