I'd really love to know what you eat daily. Do you eat the foods you cook every day or do days of just protein and veggies some days? I have gained 20 lbs during covid and I am in a very bad spot. Would love any suggestions you tried. Also, do you drink alcohol at all? If so, what do you drink? Appreciate your rawness and willingness to share your journey. It's so helpful to so many. :)

Do you ever deal with Body dysmorphic disorder and if so how do you deal with it?
Even though I know im skinny now and can see it in the mirror, there's times that I still feel and see my self as heavier. I know its just in my head but the feeling and thoughts feel real. I know alot of people who go through a significant change deal with it, myself included sometimes.

I worked in plastic surgery for ten years with massive weight loss patients. I can absolutely tell you that How much skin a patient will have is determined by a) genetics. Skin elasticity is inherited. B) how quickly weight is lost. Slower weight loss gives skin opportunity to retract. Post-bariatric patients are more likely to have more excess skin. C). How obese the patient was and for how long. Skin memory will be better in a patient overweight for less time than a patient obese since childhood.
That being said, most patients who have lost 100+ lbs will likely need skin surgery. It can leave horrible physical problems for you. I know exactly what you have been through and I applaud your bravery and commitment. It is worth the pain for the results after. 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻

Over the course of 10 years I lost 45 lbs and having two 10lbs babies, my stomach was so flabby. I had tummy tuck in 2017. Best decision ever! Cost me $8000. No lipo. Minimal pain but talking to other friends they had major pain but they also had lipo so that could be the difference. Dr. Andreason in Ontario, CA is great! Went to a few doctors before I chose him. Most wanted to do lipo and he said no lipo it’s just skin. Love an honest doctor who didn’t try to take my money. Found out later another girl at my job had went to him too. She got an infection, her fault she didn’t something she wasn’t supposed to after surgery, he drove to her house on a holiday weekend with his nurse to take care of her. It was not life threatening but that’s the kind of doctor he is.

I had WLS at the age of 27, roux eny. Man was I depressed. Twin daughters who were 4 and a cheating baby daddy.
    I lost 165 lbs in a year.
2004 I had body lift (complete belt) and breast lift with implants. Man oh man. The boobs hurt. I expected the abdomen pain but not the chest pain.
I 💯 paid for all of it. All surgeries were not covered. When people said how good I looked I was like you can to for $42k 😂
All in all I would do it again. I would do more mental work too though. I never dealt with why I was an addict of food.
I gained some lbs again a few years ago. Found keto almost 3 years ago and have been thriving since. I have loose arm and thigh skin @ 45 in a few weeks I’m not sure I’d have that surgery now though.

You can not compare a natural weight loss to a surgical weight loss it's completely different! I lost 92lbs on keto and just had a full tummy tuck with muscle repair and a boob lift this past May. Best decision ever!!!! Worth all the pain! I’m Debating getting my arms done and thighs as well as I’m too bottom heavy. Can you discuss your experience with both of those surgeries

Don’t worry about your scars. Not worth “fixing” at the risk of infection. If they don’t hurt, just leave them.

Thank you for being so transparent and open. You were so beautiful even at your peak weight. I hate to say that "you have such a pretty face" but you do, so there you have it. If you ever feel like you might want to share, I would love to know how you bring up the topic of being previously overweight and having scars and stretchmarks, when dating or when you were dating or met Donnie or anyone else. I am still on my weight loss journey but I am already dreading this sort of discussion. And did anyone ever reject you when you told them about your weight loss achievements and the scars? (I mean, I know a guy is a loser if he would reject you entirely for such a thing but I imagine some women have met such a terrible fate). Seriously, love you!

Correct! Extended fasting prevents loose skin. Also dry skin brushing with a soft brush stimulates rejuvenating skin cells. More importantly, a relationship with Christ and daily prayer will make you 100% successful.

I have just started the keto lifestyle (6th day!) from being plant based for years... I want to lose about 50 pounds (from menopause weight gain/thyroid) I appreciate this video soooo much because I have that pinch 2 inches around the waistline that I need to get rid of.... I also just started (6th day) of Intermittent Fasting for 18 hours... hoping that this will help!! THANK YOU for inspiring & your recipes & personality is just fabulous! Wishing you the best of success always! Love from Canada Xx Best wishes to you & Donnie !!! YOU ARE SUCH A BEAUTIFUL, vibrant soul.
