Transformers One | TRAILER BREAKDOWN | Megatron Origin & Prime Dynasty. what's going on you guys this is your boy RBG aka the random black gamer bringing you a breakdown on the official trailer for Transformers 1 it was revealed about 24 hours ago by way of par M official Channel where it was literally launched in space which reassures US that this is going to take place on a distant planet far away from Earth and we have a lot to go over so stay tuned now before we jump into the breakdown I want to ask you guys to do me the biggest favor and thumbs up this video let's try to get this video to 1,000 likes yeah I know you hate getting this request at the very beginning of a video before you watch it in its entirety but RUclips's algorithm encourages it so if you're rock with your boy and you know I'm going to bring you that awesome content then smash that like button and if by any chance you make it to the end of this video and you feel like you wasted 10 minutes of your life that you can't get back then feel free to take that like back and give it a dislike just rate the video but yeah guys Transformers 1 is officially in motion now that Paramount has released this trailer the marketing machine is going to be moving Full Speed Ahead and we're going to continue to get awesome details and merchandise pertaining to this movie but with that said we can't ignore the big elephant in the room there's obviously been a very mixed reaction to this trailer which stems from a multitude of things while it does take place on Cybertron.

4:45 from this one scene I can kinda tell that Megs already is frustrated with how much bee talks and later leads to him leaving alive but with no voice as punishment. But that might just be me…

@@Romapolitan what about TFP? I don’t like the no voice as much as anyone else but it’s become his trademark now and I don’t feel it’s gonna be changing anytime soon
Strange how the new movie depicts Megatron as humble and Orion Pax as adventurous when Ratchet in TFP stated the opposite. Orion was humble clerk while Megatron was a miner to gladiator to warlord when failed to become a prime.
Can’t wait to see D-16 TURN INTO MEGATRON AND ORION PAX TURN INTO OPTIMUS PRIME

It looks and feels like a James Gunn flim style and storytelling like guardians of the Galaxy films…
Granted, this isn't the tone I expected for this movie, but Im still pretty excited. This movie is part 1 of a 3-part trilogy telling the full story of how Optimus and Megatron went from best friends to mortal enemies at war with one another and how the Cybertronian War first began. Personally, I really like the art style, and I like the vibrant colours of Cybertron. I really like Chris Hemsworth and Brian Tee Henry as Optimus/Orion Pax and Megatron/D-16, and their dynamic together seems to be a highlight of the movie, which will make their downfall all the sadder when we see them go to war, almost like the story of Moses and Rameses or Magneto and Professor X. Honestly, I don't mind the humour since Transformers can be fun and silly at times, but since we were just introduced to the beginning of their story, having that youthful comedy isn't a bad thing since its builds us up to the serious tone and eventual war and chaos later on
I noticed one thing that wasn’t mentioned about the scene with the iconic cons. It was mentioned that they look much like their G1 designs, but what I noticed was that Soundwave’s proportions symbolize more of his original toy than they do the g1 show.
Ive always wanted a movie like this. About time
My theory is that Orion-Pax is no ordinary worker bot, he is the last descendent of the original Primes before the Quintessons took over Cybertron. Alpha Trion knows this and he deliberately left Orion Pax in the lower caste of Cybertron so that he remains out of the view of the Qunitessons and the corruption of the Elite. Being working as a miner, he develops a humble personality which is carried forward when he turns into Optimus Prime.
Megatron already has the deception insignia on his shoulder which is interesting.
In my opinion, I’m really like this movie already mainly because it shows a time before the Cybertronian War as well seeing this once close friendship between the two characters that will one day become the leaders of their respective factions. I believe this film is kinda look like a lighter tone to it before things goes south later and I wonder if this could be a part one of two movies of the origins of both Optimus Prime & Megatron?

More importantly, the Decepticons seem to be fighting AGAINST the Quintessons, as we see Seekers fighting Vehicons!
Not to mention, Vehicons bringing Mystery Blue 2 over to a Quintesson... I wanna say Enforcer.
Mystery Blue 2 I think, by his wings, is Dezarus. They don't look like Sentinel's TR wings, so I don't think that's him. Which would mean we've yet to see Sentinel.

a part of these movies I'm looking forward to is seeing optimus and megatrons designs evolve over the course of the trilogy and I assume by the end they will look like the optimus and megatron we have come to know
My only issues with this movie franchise is they make bumblebee into a pet, with no vocal cords. Bumblebee is probably 600 years old on cypertron, 8 billion light years, but on earth, it's 5 years old.
Alpha Trion will transform into a horned lion. It's a reference to his alternate mode in the Titans Return toyline. I was expecting a space ship but I'm really happy about this choice.
I honestly just want an actual Adult Transformers film with a good ass continuity similar to Transformers Prime or Micheal bay version or WFC and FOC BUT BETTER.

I feel the designs could of been better it looks good I understand it’s more towards kids I have no problem with I just feel like the designs of the transformers could be better in my opinion
I personally don't like that the movie is going to be more kid audience aimed from the look of things, but I can understand why they decided to go that route. While a good portion of the fan base is at least in their 20s, it's important to remember that transformers is primarily a toy franchise and movies are the way to advertise them. That said however, I would appreciate if the movie kind of aimed for a more teen demographic in terms of tone and storytelling.
Transformers has always been for or I should say friendly towards kids. Look at g1, yet its story telling wasn't silly just because kids are watching or even directly involved in the show.
This is just the modern annoying take of content being aimed at kids as being deliberately silly at almost any given instance.
@@UnifiedEntity That wasn't at all what I was saying. What I had meant was that some fans of the series might enjoy a more fun kid film just as much as the more gritty likes of the bayverse, there are some fans whom might only like more adult and serious tones. As people age they tend to grow out of different types of films. Someone who watched say Shrek as a kid might despise the minions movies.
I have no clue if the movie is going to be "deliberately silly" as you put it, and I'm sure the movie having more childish or humourous moments in it will in no way make or break it. Look at bumblebee and rise of the beasts, they had moments that were clearly meant to just be funny, and those movies were fantastic. What my original point meant to get at was there can be thresholds for what some fans may find enjoyable or within their "focus group" for lack of a better term.
@@VideoJamesYT What im saying is Transformers however, was always aimed at kids, but it shouldn't be relegated to a simple "fun kids" movie because since it's conception, Transformers had a variety of characters to serve different roles with a level of sillyness,humor and fun I should say. It had its level fo grittiness but in ways not to the extent of the Bag films either. What this movie does is take the entire thing, and make it 'fun" and I say deliberate because the tone of which they talk and how alot of the scenes based on the trailer are being filmed.
@@UnifiedEntity I can agree with that, I also feel that the movies as a whole should have an adequate blend of humor and seriousness, similar to the blend the original 86 movie had. Like I said in my original comment, however, I do hope there is a decent balance to the kid oriented aspects of the film and some of the aspects that are going to be aimed at the older demographic, like the society story point, which as of right now, I hold my piece as to whether or not they accomplish that.

Bayverse Decepticons except Megatron and Starscream never had a personality they were just mindless drones for story plots that is one of reasons why Bayverse failed i don't count Sentinel Prime he is always an Autobot

They target new young fans. Fully animated. Origin story. No humans. Before the war. Optimus and megatron were friends before. So I'm okay with this. It's something new.

Megatronus will probably transfer a scrap code and infect D-16, eventually it will override certain areas of his brain-module and embed the personality traits of megatronus - Imprisoned in his own mind, we will see D-16 in a virtual memory block, screaming "release me".

Ok I am getting more excited about this movie , I will sure give it a try. On a surface level it looked like a kids movie , but it seems like it’s more deep and I like it
I doubt this one is targeted towards kids especially considering Bumblebee calls himself “Badassatron”

The nore i think about it, i don't think the people saying give us a movie about how the war started realized what they're asking for. Like the obvious Cullen and Welker wouldn't be voicing younger versions of the charecters we know, and this would be very different. The two would be friends, different time on Cyberton etc. The movie seems to be what fans wanted. Oh forgot the argument about how these movies are supposed to be nonstop fighting. Which is ridiculous period. I'd think the Quintasons part would be dark. 🤷♀️
Fans are arguing this is prequel to Bumblebee but DO NOT say sequel to Bayverse. Sorry I'm going to do it. This could be a prequel to the 2 (or 3 universes if you believe RoTB isn't a sequel to Bumblebee) and a few in a FB group I'm in feel like it's a prequel to Earthspark. Again, i say logical because this is millions of years prior. Unless ES includes a story of how the war started.
Officially though I read only standalone film that i feel like they will change their mind. Do fans sre picking something to argue about without Paramount saying anything. Plus the 'for kids' argument.
Anyway, there's a scene that has people guessing a few other Autobots will be in the movie. Likely not Autobots yet. The speculation is the terror twins, Wheeljack, Jazz, and Chromia. I think it's a split second scene in the trailer. There's posts on X. Nothing official though. I'm surprised we haven't gotten the full charecter list yet. O don't know uf this is saying any other characters won't have lines? 🤔

It has been confirmed that Transformers One is not going to connected to any other Transformers Universes, it is part of its own Universe.
I mean I was disappointed that the design was leaning more towards TF: Prime (not saying I hate it). Personally I wish they could be more like what they Introduced to us in Bumblebee, or maybe closer to the design in Fall of/War for Cybertron. In the end, I wish this will be a fun movie to watch.
The only thing I wish for is to see devastator and the constructicons
I am one of the folks who's not that convinced about this movie.
I am extremely happy with the designs and visuals at display, the animation and sounds are also great.
I am also very much interested in seeing a Cybertron where the Quintessons rule, it makes more sense that the cast system came from them instead of the whole "Functionism" thing from IDW.
As you can see, there are alot of thing I love seeing here, so what is my problem?
My problem is the "comedy"!
Which can best be described as a Guardians of the Galaxy Bootleg.
The Marvel/Disney type of comedy is overused and flow breaking.
That is my issue with this movie trailer and it is a huge issue as well, because it shows that nothing will be taken even remotely seriously and at anytime a cool scene will be brought to a breakneck halt to get in a cheap shot.
It's a harbringer of bad dialoge and poor writing.
I hope I am wrong, but recent movie trends have proven me right in the worst ways.
I’m convinced a lot of you just see people’s opinions and just want to argue. For me i was expecting a more intense movie which I’m not too upset about. Just something to try and enjoy i guess.

I like the theme of the film but the style of animation is just very different to rise of the beasts that’s the only thing I don’t like
why do you say its a deactivated megatronus, his face is literally a decepticon symbol. Thats tarn. Is that Alpha Trion? His colors are all in the wrong places, he has three horns instead of two, he has a massive chin. These details make me thing its Zeta Prime not Alpha Trion. Also when megatron gets the arm canon if you analyze the details of his body and the surroundings that is a different scene. thats not the same scene.
I mean Laurence Fishburne has been confirmed to be voicing Alpha Trion. And the character sounded an awful lot like Laurence Fishburne. Not to mention that the toy basically confirms that its indeed Alpha Trion. Not every character needs to look like the iterations from the past. Changes to designs are bound to happen. And maybe the character with the Decepticon face could be Megatronus but with Torn's features. If Dark of Moon could basically make Sentinel Prime look like Alpha Trion then maybe that's the case with this version of Megatronus.

Nah, not for me. This is more aimed at young kids as far as I can also tell. I see it more as another TF parallel universe story but unfortunately not one I'm going to be personally following.
Dud the comedy and sense of humor was the something with the original cartoon series form the 80s and the first movie that come out in 86 and bumblebee was funny his hell in that movie and dumb to so I don’t see any difference
it's should be for the fans and kids, I'm not happy with this trailer we have generations of fans that want to see great lore and mythology and a great animation movie for everyone including kids but this just looks like a dumb Saturday morning cartoon. Definitely not what I was hoping for but maybe it will change as they get older but right now it's depressing for so many true fans!

Not feeling it. Too much MCU/Bay levels of humor/sillyness (specifically from Revenge of the fallen). I get making Optimus i guess more........easy going? Peppy? Idk how to put it besides less intense but theres a better way to handle that if the goal is to make him chill

I'm pretty sure Rodimus Prime is the chosen one in all of the transformers, not optimus prime even though Optimus does get most of the spotlight.
If that was the case he wouldn't have given the Matrix of Leadership back to Optimus in the G1 series.
