Maybe he failed to kill Jean and Phoenix wiped it. Maybe Cassandra is using Antman as a giant cerebro and controlled him across the multiverse with amplified powers so he thinks he was responsible for his universes end
Everyone has been assuming that Wolverine "letting down his entire world" must be a reference to an incursion or some kind of huge, universe ending disaster but it could be something more grounded like failing to prevent a disaster that affected not only mutants but humans too. That could be why he's unwelcome in the bar. It might not be as simple as "we don't serve mutants".
Yeah I don't think that it has to do with Logan doing something to get all the mutants killed because in most of the comics and most of the movies mutants are disliked by all humans or most humans so why would they care if Logan got most of them killed so that scenario where everybody hates Logan because he got the X-Men kill doesn't make any sense because again why would humanity care if Logan got them killed
@@onlyeasydaywasyesterday Just spitballin here. But, stay with me here...Logan let down his entire world down because of a "virus" that only his blood can cure because of his healing ability and his "universe" didn't have a deadpool? Just spitballin
"He let down his world" My guess is this is from logan. This Woverine Survived the battle in the woods. Maybe by abandoning everyone else. Something that the original "Logan" did not do in the movie. the TVA doesn't want him in the TVA because he's a variant. he was to be pruned. (a la Loki). It's why Deadpool was fighting the TVA i the woods, he was trying to protect logan. Because he didn't let them prune logan Wade has a choice. Get pruned along with Logan OR go back to his world. (thats why they give him a Car dealership uniform "Hello my name is wade") he didn't bring that with him. That Logan is a variant.
This Logan was part of a superhero group led by the X-men that were the avengers of their world, loved, idolised worshiped by the public (“like Xavier meeting the president and doing that speech in dark Phoenix after saving the astronauts). However logan botches a mission because Cassandra nova messes with his mind, thus killing all the Xmen and plunging his world into darkness and despair. He was the one person who could have prevented such a tragedy but he failed to do so. By the time wade catches up with him Logan is living a nihilistic life. This Logan is a variant, not seen before onscreen. Hence the yellow costume.
My guess is Post DOPF where 1-Logan accidentally killed X-Men dooming world to Cassandra Nova or 2- Cassandra Nova killed X-Men sadistically as helpless Logan watched
Yeah I agree, if this is post DoFP he’s going to feel responsible for everything that happens to this world, if things go as bad or worse then before he’ll definitely think he let the world down cause he made it this way.
As bad as they have been keeping the timeline in check, it’s definitely post DOFP since Deadpool confirms he’s in that universe, that was supposed to write the 1st 3 X-Men movies especially last stand out of existence. But time always corrects itself, nexus events always have a way of stilling finding a way to happen. Only when someone like Deadpool disrupts the timeline so drastically, does an incursion happen or changes a cannon event.
I think the Wolverine was recruited for the same mission that Deadpool is currently recruited for, and he failed (or refused). Hence Paradox framing it as he "let down his universe". That is, "don't be like this Wolverine, do what you're told".
"So this is how it feels." I always thought he said that because he now felt what it was like to be really loved and the love he had for Laura as a daughter. But thats just me.
Yes. I think it’s b/c he has someone he’s letting himself care about. Real family. But also it’s how it feels to die. Which is what he’s watched every other person he’s cared about do, as he’s been condemned to live on.
This is what I can put together: Wolverine has killed the anchor hero in his universe because of Cassandra Nova and triggered an incursion. TVA arrives in that universe and prunes the entire universe, thereby sending Cassandra and the rest to the void except for Wolverine, who manages to escape to another universe. TVA recruits Deadpool to catch Wolverine and Deadpool successfully manages to bring him to TVA. Both of them manages to escape TVA using the Tempad, thereby travelling to different universes. Deadpool kills some of the agents but eventually both Deadpool and Wolverine get pruned and sent to the void, where they confront Cassandra.
It's definitely the void. It makes no sense for that to be his world, especially when Deadpool first sees him in a normal bar with electricity. An incursion should fully destroy the world.
Not sure if the place we see being all dusty and stuff can be discounted as the void just because it doesn't have the same grassy fields as the void in Loki. Nothing stops the void from having multiple landscapes the same as any planet would. It just as easily could be the void as it could be a post-incursion universe.
It is the void The Hydra Helicarrier, Golden Gate Bridge, Mary Celeste and Leviathan corpse are all from the void Why Renslayer, Lokis, Frog Thor and Narvas don't appear is unknown
I think everyone is overlooking the fact that there's a bunch of mutants that were killed cus they went against the x-men that are now alive again & when each death happened
Something that just doesn't make sense to me is Paradox saying, "This Wolverine let down his entire world." Then later on Deadpool saying, "I don't know anything about saving worlds, but you do." Which is it, did Logan let down his world, or did he save it? I'm wondering it they are the same Wolverine, or not? We're just assuming that the Wolverine in the scene with Paradox is the same one that Deadpool eventually teams with.
I was thinkig it was because Wolverine knew what he had to do to save his world, but he chose not to (or couldn't), and this will allow him to fix his guilt by now doing what has to be done to save Deadpools.
Think of it like a redemption. He failed and found the solution after, just like Andrew Garfield's Spiderman who thought of a better way to save his Gwen. Which he did in No Way Home. Deadpool is asking Wolverine coz he knows how to solve the same problem that Deadpool is facing
What if there is a branched timeline where Logan couldn’t/didn’t travel back in time to stop the sentinels. The sentinels wiped out everything and those are the pod graves we see. They deem it his fault because either he didn’t or something stopped him from being able to go back in time to stop them. Or maybe he went back and couldn’t stop raven. So it would be the same Logan from all the previous movies, but his timeline got branched in days of future past? Idk it could be a million things and everyone could be totally off. This is the multiverse after all lol
"This Wolverine let down his entire world." This is clearly a reference to the dementia-addled Charles killing all the X-Men prior to the events of Logan. Wolverine could have stopped Charles before it happened, but chose not to. This Wolverine is not an alternate universe version, this is our Wolverine. And yes, that is the Void in the trailer. Some parts of the Void can be green while other parts are desert. Obviously.
"This is clearly a reference" lol this one is a variant. They've confirmed they are not changing anything from Logan, this wolverine is also a different age lol. Even the bartender knew who he was and kicked it him in the trailer, whatever this variant did was alot worse than what happened in the Logan timeline

I’ll honestly be surprised if they don’t glance over or mention Logan with Deadpool being like “Do NOT… touch that!!!! Leave it alone, we promised fans”
The idea of Logan's death being something Paradox wants either 'fixed' or 'undone' being a catalyst for his being the true villain could tie in nicely with Eric's pointing out that Deadpool is using parts of the tree that X24 impaled Logan on to kill the TVA agents. Like that scene is when Wade realises what Paradox is trying to and loses his shit over the betrayal / disrespect to Wolverine.
I think there could be a lot of ways that he let his universe down. It could be that going all the way back to the first X-Men movie, he never stopped to let Rogue back into the truck, so left her to Saber-Tooth. That would mean that Magneto was more likely to succeed in his plan, since the X-Men had no idea about Rogue. Or one of the several other options for when he almost walked away from a situation, only he didn't change his mind. It would give more impact to the "I'm no hero, kid" line. Another option, and one that would make sure they don't touch the events of Logan, he walked away from X-23, and DIDN'T die like he was supposed to, and that's what caused things to go off the rails. If that was a fixed point in time, that was a key nexus event, it would bring about the destruction of that universe, and his guilt for not dying like all the other X-Men would weight heavily on him.
It's kind of a tough call but in my book the only wolverine that let down their entire universe was the one that got manipulated by mysterio. And somehow deceived wolverine into thinking the X-Men were villains, though his illusions and smoke and mirrors. Resulting in wolverine killing all the X-Men at the campus grounds. But that's just one multiverse timeline. 🥺 Halfway through the movie I was thinking it was that one timeline. But still going out getting loaded when your team needs you is still pretty horrible.

I think we should all consider the fact that there might be multiple or Wolverine and Deadpool, hence the suit inconsistencies like how he sometimes has sleeves and Deadpool’s gloves change
Good theory EVoss. We all assumed b/c of the TVA that the wasteland could possibly be the Void, but bringin in the Incursions and whatnot, this seems like a great theory by the Vossman.
I'm no comic geek but what if deadpool & wolverine is a prequel to logan and professor X tried to erase everyone's minds after the event but it didn't go to plan?
I don't know. Paradox said this specific Wolverine failed but how could that be if that Wolverine died? All seems very convoluted and confusing for what is hopefully just a good popcorn movie like the other Deadpool movies have been.
4:43 "Alioth could be anywhere an incursion happens" That's a frightening thought. I want a Vibranium ring. The place with the big tombstones and wheat could be the Ancestral plain based on Moon Knight.
I doubt that it's the "Ancestral Plain" from Moon Knight, mainly because that one is specifically themed after the Egyptian afterlife for those that believe specifically in the Egyptian gods and/or had some association with them and stuff like that, so unless this Wolverine believes in the Egyptian gods or associated with them in some way it's not likely that Ancestral Plain.
I know it’s unlikely but as an omega level, can Cassandra have a little chance in controlling Alioth if he was once enchanted by Gods (ik it’s different but a cookie crumb thought). Yes I stretched my arms before typing
What if Logan isn't welcome in the bar because of what happened to his world and that all the mutants died? Saying that he is from a mutant friendly world
What if Wade tried to stop the ending of Logan, but because that was a nexus event, he couldn't stop it. And that's what caused the incursion??and Maybe the wolverine that let his world down, he couldn't kill Jean?
The Void.. It's Earth (????) were Khang war happened and it became a dumpster when Who he remains weaponized Alioth and created the TVA. Basically a landfill universe for the pruned. As you explained it base on what you saw in Loki, you think that the place is small in size. Just because Alioth roams in the same place.
That's definitely possible too. Some have said that they can see metal plaques on the inside of some of the stones, presuming that they are what lists who died and when and stuff, maybe not necessarily like headstones but more like those war memorial walls and such for soldiers that died during the war and such, or like what they had in Endgame that wall of Snapped peoples names.
I dig it, they said off the rip that this Wolverine wouldn't contravene Logan's ending, makes sense that a Deadpool buddy flick MCU would be strongly about setting boundaries and teaching the audience (and the studio) to respect them.
What I don't understand is how could Wolverine fall for Mystrio's illusions when he should have been able to smell that those were X-Men and not enemies.
I was saying this the other day. It definitely seems like more than one Wolverine variant is involved and Deadpool keeps coming into contact with them for whatever reason. I wonder if Deadpool is searching for a specific Wolverine. The Wolverine in the bar is obviously the Wolverine from Logan bc of the useless claws. We know the patch Wolverine will be involved bc that was in the teaser. And Henry Cavill’s Wolverine will also play a factor. The yellow suit Wolverine must be the one who eventually helps Deadpool save his universe.
I like it! 🎉 A great way to say thank you and good bye to the anchor that secured the interest that led to the success of the MCU! Not just Wolverine but also Hugh Jackman.
While we don't know for absolute certain until the movie comes out, we can guess some pretty obvious reasons as to why like he probably ripped the sleeves off at some point or they got torn off during a battle or something like that.
Slightly unrelated but hear me out. In the scene where Deadpool is fighting the TVA agents with a branch, what if it's actually Wolverine's hand from his corpse. Marvel has been known to change things visually in trailers to surprise people in theaters. So maybe the TVA agents were digging up Logan for some reason and Deadpool wasn't having it and took his hand and started killing.
I like thinking that what Logan did wasn't just killing a few innocents. My headcanon is that he went full-blown genocide mode and killed as many humans he could across the world, even heroes
I feel like it’s a completely separate Wolverine, it’s supposed to be the “multiverse saga”. I think the want to explore as many multiverses before kang dynasty.
I don’t think we’re looking like at a post world incursion because it looks so different than the incursions we’ve seen. A lot of similarities to the void too
I’m saying it now it’s the X-Men 97 universe it’s been connected all this time from the first appearance of Deadpool in 92 to now it’s all intertwined think about it the end season finale is a 3 parter starting may 1st it ends in June just a month before the Deadpool and Wolverine is set to come out and mr fantastic also said the incursions stuff
This is probably the place called battle world in the comics after all we did get that secret wars cover in the first trailer and That issue might have been the first mention of a the place called battle world And probably best way to describe battle world is think of a patchwork quilt instead of different fabric you have different types of landscape.. green , lush and Dry and dusty and so on
I think that the scene where Logan is with the gravestones could be Cassandra is putting him in an illusion reminding him what happened with all the headstones to defeat him .
I like your idea that they're not actually in the void, they're actually in a world where an incursion happened. The problem I have with that, it doesn't look like the world that evil Dr Strange destroyed in Multiverse of Madness.
I think the world logan let down is our world, where he failed to save the 20th century fox xmen franchise no matter how many appearances he would cameo in.
@@microscopic.caterpill no, but close… everyone speaks of Fitz crossing the galaxy for Simmons. The time he actually does it, we ended up on battleworld
I think that this Wolverine wasn’t only a member of the X-Men, but an Avenger as well. A huge universe threatening event happened (Thanos, phoenix, Apocalypse, etc) and know Logan is the only survivor of both teams due to his healing factor. He feels he failed his entire world.
The Wolverine we see with Deadpool could be X24 from Logan, his let down moment could be killing Logan and the young remaining Mutants never actually escaped.

Has anyone noticed when logans in the wheat field hes wearing his casual fit with the white top, big belt buckle, blue pants, and boots
I very well may be wrong, but those don't look like gravestones. They look like they are part of a barrier.
Plus that’s a big ass gravestone like god dayum they buried them in it too
I dig it, they said off the rip that this Wolverine wouldn't contravene Logan's ending, makes sense that a Deadpool buddy flick MCU would be strongly about setting boundaries and teaching the audience (and the studio) to respect them.
Bruh, the void is probably just like a Minecraft world. It has different biomes. Doesn't need to be all grass
This Wolverine is going to be a version of Logan who did not kill Jean in XMen Last Stand 8:57
Alioth = langoliers😂
What I don't understand is how could Wolverine fall for Mystrio's illusions when he should have been able to smell that those were X-Men and not enemies.
Welp it was the void….
I have the D&W face off t shirt ever since the trailer dropped during the Super Bowl &love it so much
I was saying this the other day.
Not just Wolverine but also Hugh Jackman.
please someone tell me that " How wolwerine's long armed suit became short amred suit??? "
please tell me😓
While we don't know for absolute certain until the movie comes out, we can guess some pretty obvious reasons as to why like he probably ripped the sleeves off at some point or they got torn off during a battle or something like that.
I figured it would be one of the claws but it'd be kinda funny if it was his while hand/arm
B15, turn on that damn box shrinker!
Cassandra reminds me of Ebony Maw who was probably my favorite underrated MCU villain
Maw was amazing, hope they bring him back.
Bruh I loved Ebony Maw and the way he died got me so dead. Like bruh not a Hela death
I like thinking that what Logan did wasn't just killing a few innocents. My headcanon is that he went full-blown genocide mode and killed as many humans he could across the world, even heroes
Maybe it's THE Logan from the movie, but his healing factor kicks in back in resurrecting him.
It's not. Both Ryan and Hugh have both stated THAT version of Wolverine is off limits
We now kno that it is the void 😂
They called it the void . Many times. So I think it’s safe to say it’s the void
I feel like it’s a completely separate Wolverine, it’s supposed to be the “multiverse saga”. I think the want to explore as many multiverses before kang dynasty.
I dont think theyre even doing Kang Dynasty now
@@pizzeria_mayhem8736 Well that’s disappointing
@@natespann102 consider that Kang just got charged for beating his SO, so....
Thumnail caption shoulda been "What Did He DO?" lmaoooo
I think this takes place before Logan, but after Professor Xavier killed the X Men
This has nothing to do with those movies
@@nickjcirillo we don’t know that yet. They said this would take place pre-Logan so that’s what I’m going off of.
@@RedditUser999 they literally said themselves 2 years ago there not touching Logan or those movies lol
@@RedditUser999 whoever told u that is on something
@@nickjcirillothat's what they said when asked...
I don’t think we’re looking like at a post world incursion because it looks so different than the incursions we’ve seen. A lot of similarities to the void too
I’m saying it now it’s the X-Men 97 universe it’s been connected all this time from the first appearance of Deadpool in 92 to now it’s all intertwined think about it the end season finale is a 3 parter starting may 1st it ends in June just a month before the Deadpool and Wolverine is set to come out and mr fantastic also said the incursions stuff
this is amazing!
so theyre gonna come to the same conclusion loki did at the end of loki, and hes gonna be watching them from the tree like "yes, exactly"
This is probably the place called battle world in the comics after all we did get that secret wars cover in the first trailer and That issue might have been the first mention of a the place called battle world
And probably best way to describe battle world is think of a patchwork quilt instead of different fabric you have different types of landscape.. green , lush and Dry and dusty and so on
I think that the scene where Logan is with the gravestones could be Cassandra is putting him in an illusion reminding him what happened with all the headstones to defeat him .
I like your idea that they're not actually in the void, they're actually in a world where an incursion happened. The problem I have with that, it doesn't look like the world that evil Dr Strange destroyed in Multiverse of Madness.
Please Keep These Coming Until The Movie Drops😤
I think the world logan let down is our world, where he failed to save the 20th century fox xmen franchise no matter how many appearances he would cameo in.
I think Cassandra Nova mind controlled Wolverine into killing the X-Men sort of taking the role of mysterio in old man logan
I understood it as the version where Mysterio fools him into killing all the Xmen by making them appear to be super villians
3:56 the Void shows up in AoS in our FitzSimmons arch
Coulson walked around the Void!!!!
Are you talking about when Simmons got stuck on that planet with that one pervert
Oh wait this is the Aida one
@@microscopic.caterpill no, but close… everyone speaks of Fitz crossing the galaxy for Simmons. The time he actually does it, we ended up on battleworld
@@microscopic.caterpill Daniel Walker’s bunker is the location of the Loki Royal Rumble…
I think that this Wolverine wasn’t only a member of the X-Men, but an Avenger as well. A huge universe threatening event happened (Thanos, phoenix, Apocalypse, etc) and know Logan is the only survivor of both teams due to his healing factor. He feels he failed his entire world.
I think it’s a combo of him failing to do something/ incursion and it’s also the void
Ahhh kinda like how Loki proved mobious wrong in season 2👌🏾✍🏾
I think the graves could be the X men and/ or the avengers 👀
The dead x men universes is gonna be some meta device that Deadpool is gonna use as comedy and I’m all for it
Why can’t the Void have multiple types of environments?
Right they just need to slap that little purple tint and we good
6:10 do they have them in pure uranium?
It’s not the void but there’s a giant fox studios logo? I hope it starts with the logo being pruned and then we see that is where it ended up.
Yes! Yes! Yes!
Let’s fkn gooooooo
The void at the end of time is where/when all universes collide, it's basically a giant incursion.
What if the void is the aftermath of the first ever incursion ?
Great detailed catch. I see it now.
this wolverine might be the one that mysterio tricked where he killed the entire xmen mutants
Paradox is working for Kang
Revising the void setting to an incursion world… smells like somebody tipped the rockstar team. 😊
The Wolverine we see with Deadpool could be X24 from Logan, his let down moment could be killing Logan and the young remaining Mutants never actually escaped.
