I was a rock fan for quite some time because of his persona. He was funny and sympathetic . Seeing he is a bad actor and mostly plays the same role made me realize which movies I don't want to watch: any movie with him in the main role.
I think people were fine with the Rock not being a good actor and playing the same role in every film. But then we heard about his spiralling ego, clauses about never losing a fight, trying to make himself the centre of the DCEU etc. and that doesn’t work. Marlon Brando could be an unprofessional dick because he was an amazing actor. Edward Norton or Christian Bale can be egotistical and controlling because they are brilliant. The Rock needs to go back to being a cheerful humble laid-back guy before everyone starts to question why they are paying $50m for a guy who can’t act.
It's me. This movie is made for me. I loved it so much. 😂 Instant classic for every year. Cannot wait till my kids grow old enough to watch it with me.

This movie is basically a kid’s Christmas movie but for adults. When I saw it in theaters, I actually kind of enjoyed how serious it took itself and its premise but I was instantly worried there wouldn’t be enough of an audience for this film. The Reference to the cut of the avengers where the waitress flirts with captain America, and is the scene where Stan lee originally was in. You can also see little hints of the waitress in other scenes running from danger. Like Yeah, pretty good deep cut.
I absolutely love all the Fast and Furious jokes in this trailer. It fits perfectly with this movie and how it feels like it could have been a Fast and Furious spinoff at some point! Chris Evans was definitely wrongly cast in this movie!

I also came down to the comments to defend this film. It isn't going to win any awards, but it was a funny action Christmas movie.
I also feel like there were a couple scenes that didn't make the final cut and I would be open to an extended cut. I want to know what happened to the Monopoly boardgame and the Slinky that Dwayne grabbed in that toy store.
I love that Santa is Jacked, and that they got Gryla and Krampus in this movie, who are Christmas legends from other cultures.

I can’t believe Amazon spent $250 million on this, they could’ve used like half of that money for filming The Boys Season 4 & 5 back to back or doubling the animation budget for Invincible

Watch "The Producers" from 1967. What's valid is entertainment is just a money laundering scheme where a flop is an optimal outcome for tax purposes.
Considering this only just came out, it might have been greenlit before Black Adam came out 2 years ago. How much stuff we see him in for the next 2-5 years is the real question.

The rock is a businessman first, actor second. His box office is pretty consistent, just the budgets get higher. If you think the things you listed are a detriment to Hollywood and big business, you must not be aware of how they work

That means it would have to make 875mil just to break even, and that’s not gonna happen. Its current box office gross is only $180mil. …and that’s just one of several examples. So, how is it smart business to make bad movies that lose money? …and have your bad behavior end up on the news?

Became it's a live action Moana. Disney is in a habit of making bad films now. Especially the live action remakes. Sprinkle on Dwayne Johnson and it's doomed from the start.
I've enjoyed every movie I've ever seen with the rock in it. So really...it seems like you who have the issue. The Tooth fairy was hilarious, Jumanji was fun, both of them. Red one is fun to watch, Moana is good, 2 is OK but 1 was better (They shouldn't have changed the music style). I actually really enjoyed Black Adam. Imo you just have horrible taste in movies. Or something against a wrestler being an actor. Or both

There was an ad before this by the voice over guy, and it was for not driving drunk after roleplaying D&D. It was goofy but I think it was on point. Fitting for this video.
The Reference to the cut of the avengers where the waitress flirts with captain America, and is the scene where Stan lee originally was in. You can also see little hints of the waitress in other scenes running from danger. Like Yeah, pretty good deep cut.

I absolutely love all the Fast and Furious jokes in this trailer. It fits perfectly with this movie and how it feels like it could have been a Fast and Furious spinoff at some point! Chris Evans was definitely wrongly cast in this movie!
