Salute to the cat behind at 1:02. No excuse.
That's more like CGI I think his leg went to being a real leg lolllll
Yaphet Santana yeah that's right....big ole salute
what makes him a cat
Michael Colby its just a saying
ELITE FOOTBALL never heard it, thanks for the apprisition
"You might be bigger than me. You might be faster than me. But you won't out work me." - Patrick Willis.
Walter Payton : "Yes, yes I will ..."
its funny that he says that cause theres not a whole lot of people are bigger or faster then him
ruclips.net/video/YuBo7ZDKeGk/видео.html
dude has some serious traps.
I know and only by doing a single movement.
Narrow shoulders + trap genes
@@somedude5010 there is not "trap genes" tho
@@felipe8511 there is
Look at homeboy in the background at 1:00.
Now ask yourselves "What's your excuse?"
Ignorant asshole hahahahahahahaha Lol'd
nah but some prosthetic legs have better performance than a natural leg, it aint just a wooden stick
He has stick legs. He should focus a little more on training them.
In addition, he doesn't lift much weight at all.
Ain't no excuse, these simp just trying to be smart mouthed.
350GT SiTH In the past it has been lack of transportation.
Did anyone else notice the guy with the prosthetic leg in the back at 1:03 going hard on squats?
Best tackle technique in the NFL. He never laid out a dirty hit on a player.
and still hit hard as shit.....
Ikr... all head up lights out smash mouth football
That Patrick Willis was one bad boy
Word
There's no doubt about that, probably one of my favorite defensive players ever, I hated playing him but this man was a absolute monster.
Andrew Francis No doubt about that!!
Ooooo when that boy made a hit
Respect for the guy in the back at 2:09 !!
Still working out !
I love how people say "He needs to learn to train. Are you joking, I'm a Pats fan but P willis is easily the best mlb in the league and thing about his size. 6'1 260 pounds of pure muscle and he runs as fast as most Wr's. For everyone saying he doesn't train properly well I'd be scared at how much better he could be if he trained "right".
***** Yeah all it took for Kuechly to be the best ILB in the league was Willis and Bowman both getting injured. Willis and Bowman will return to 1 and 2 when the year starts. Luke can sit quietly at #3 until these two retire.
***** no Willis is better than Keuchly. Luke's speed isn't fast.
Willis had an off year thanks to krap ernick. Patrick Willis from 2011...murders any modern MLB's year any year. Just because defenses have focused more on LB.. than and Defenses around the leauge have improved...doesn't mean Willis sucked.
It just means Teams started copying what SF was doing with their 2011 3-4 Defense. You could Say WIllis was the first line of the speedy MLBs to hit the 2011' and onward seasons. So to say he is weaker is ridicolous.
Most of the people who criticize his workout are probably web-surfing couch potatoes and 30 lbs overweight. The only football these fools play is on Yahoo Fantasy. This video was shot in 2010 btw. I'm sure he picked up a few more routines from that time until he announced his retirement.
+Tyler Durden that's based off of what? Tackles? Tackles don't mean youre the best linebacker. Why would Willis even need to lead the league in tackles when the 49ers defense were top 2 in the NFL. Plus he had Bowman next to him getting 120+ tackles. Plus Willis had to cover TEs so obviously he's not going to get all the tackles.
anthony matagi waste of time explaining to these people, most of them has never played football so they are very limited knowledge. A handful of them are out of shape
I hear that from every athlete if your core isn't strong your body doesn't matter.
Andrew Taylor its true. The core is the foundation of your body.
Basically your abs. Running, different types of planks, crunches, mountain climbers etc..
Facts
@@r3ckl3ssofficial compounds are the most important squats and deadlifts build that strong core.
Andrew Taylor you core and legs strength comes from the inside out,
Patrick Willis' 'Homegrown' in Bruceton, Tn. Community next to the one I grew up in,
He has an awesome person and football player. He deserves everything he has worked
for in his career. Patrick, we believe in you. Benny McDaniel.
I'm from a town about 30 miles west of Bruceton and had no clue he was from there. I was kinda surprised when I heard that
I miss watching Patrick play he was one of my personal favorites
So mild mannered in his speech and tone for being such a monster on the field
I remember when this came out. I was 13.
Lmaooooo sameeee made me want to get a gym pass
Sammee time flies , still can’t put up 2 plates
Same.
"Its not about what you have, its about how you work with what you have" thanks for the sex advice there pat!
Patrick willis is a gifted man . His mindset is different from others that's the real reason why he has reached the level of success that he has . Your body is a reflection of where your mind is at . You can tell this dude is all work straight diligence and believed in him self . God blessed him .
I can never get tired of watching this
Patrick Willis made it to the HOF 15 finalists last month. Haven't seen this video in years, but hearing he could finally make it is getting me hyped for my favorite LB and look for this video. Go Niners!!!
And also makes me wanna workout!!! 💪💪💪
Since he left the 49ers defense is totally different
Ikr
+dmack1988 you can thank that to the change of coaches lol. Expect even worse now, 49ers have the Browns DC. Last year his Defense was ranked 29th in points and 30th in rushing yards allowed.
dmack1988 you mean harbough buddy
Fav NFL player of all time
that patrick willis was one BAD dude man...what a beast and a career man.. seems like a real humble and nice guy too
I love the way this guy works out. You work out how you feel like working out. Right on Brotha I feel you.
Great workout philosophy. He's not pushing huge weight around, but he's concentrating on getting his form down through a mind-body connection. This will get you far whether you're an athlete or a body builder. Also like his attention to core body strength. So many football players just focus on the big 3 lifts, but in football, change of direction also requires incredible core strength. Great vid!
"It's not about what you have, it's how you work with what you have." Love that! Willis was a straight BEAST on the field.
"It's not about what you have, it's how you work with what you have." - Best quote ever
I do what I do with simple weights, gravity and barbells. I love the garage weights mentality. Go get it!!!
As far as his training....this man legs are conditioned to RUN & catch people. He doesn't need to bulk them up.
he has a really sad story I'm happy for the guy
I watch this for motivation even 10+ years later… God bless you Pat, my hero.
Respect for the dude with the prosthetic leg at 1:03
Crazy how he looks like a buff Eddie Murphy,
FaKeDYoo Lol
FaKeDYoo LOL
he looks like buff CJ
Still to this day one of my favorite workout videos to watch. That Patrick Willis was bad boy
One of the kindest players I have ever met! He was all smiles today with his fans.
One of the only 49ers I like and respect
Left too early. Literally feared on the field.
Came back this yr to say say this man accomplished his words. He a bad man that was one of the greatest, congrats on your hall of fame 🎉
This man Patrick Willis workouts are completely identical to mines, and the same exact logic on how he does his workout. Great Video
He sounds like 50 cent
Please explain how a brother from Tennessee sounds like a cat from New York ?
*KingAfrikQaB*
I don't know...if you ever meet him you should ask him how that happened.
+KingAfrikQaB ty
not even close wtf? lmfao
Hardwork pays off when talent fails to succeed
Ah? "Hardwork works when talent doesn't work hard"
You will be dearly missed from the game!!!
Legend!!!
Hey Patrick Willis ..We miss you on the 49ers Faithful playing field and your motivation speeches!! God bless you and your family!! Awesome work out!!
Posing for cameras,,, I knew my workout was missing something.
nustada what's wrong with that ? I mean if your a pro lol
nustada lol
GONNA DO THAT AT THE GYM TOMMOROW
one of the best workout routine items on youtube... interesting stuff, real personal weightroom choices that aren't flashy or made up to promote trainers, and a really great look at his perspective and approach
Pat wills is so good linebacker
He choose health over hall of Fame... Retires at 31 From NFL and is a successful businessman
Random Guy calls someone a dumbass but then makes a spelling mistake
He has FOOTBALL workouts he's an NFL PLAYER they train at the facility probably do real explosive training this is at Gold's Gym ... seriously some of you guys need to get a grip, he has great genetics cool, but these are HIS workouts on his own time.
10 years later and this video still gets my hyped
Such a beast yet humble!
Damn he got a Lb body everywhere except the calf's 😂😂
GIMME DAT PUH! Lol
GIMME DAT PUH! I got the calfs but everything else doesn't look like him
GIMME DAT PUH! A lot of black people cant get big calf’s even when we work are calf’s our.
@Warren Roberts say that to Ronaldo
wish he would have played at tennessee
Instead he went to Ole Miss ;).... Hotty toddy!
Salute we miss you P.Willis 💯💯💯💯
Patrick Willis is a class act!! Country kid from Tennessee.
DAMN he exactly looks like CJ from GTA
Not at all
dude...why are you retiring
His feet
"It's not what you got. It's how you work with what you got." Truth right there.
maybe he´ll be in the HOF this year! Whish him the best he deserves it great man on and off field!
Why didn't Seattle run the ball?
LOL that question may never be answered.
Bionic Leg @ 1:01???
yes
+OmarGod wow..scary to think it cn hapoen to any1
+Li Osmani or they can be born with it
Wow! thanks for sharing! Keep up the awesome work!
No excuses! You keep it moving! Good for you
no leg workouts? squats?
do you not see this man thighs and legs. They are bigger than my body.
Maybe it was arm day. You dont do arm and leg on the same day.
Imagine how good he'd be if he actually trained properly!
he's in the NFL and you're at home.. I think he trained properly already
Jay Rock Actually I am in the lab in Switzerland, far far away from my home in California USA. I'm a theoretical physicist. You don't even know me at all. Why would say something like "I'm at home"? Are you an ignoramus? He is very athletic and a smart player who works hard, that is why he's in the NFL. This has no bearing on the fact that he IS training improperly.
James Benton Ticer Get back to work! That's why you're getting paid!
That is what I was thinking. When he was like "I don't even know what I'm going to do before I do it". He is lucky he is blessed genetically.
Yeah, he has stick legs. He should focus a little more on training them.
In addition, he doesn't lift much weight at all.
very nice dude I met him last year very cool, not all stuck up like his fellow players humble good wish more were like him.
One of the best Pat
grrrrr i luv u ... grrrrr ..ok ok calming down lol :)
that is genetics not hardwork...black privilege at its finest.
Thomas Bisignani I'm black, before I lifted I was a toothpick. It took me years to get to where I am right now, it was all work ethic for me. I am a hard gainer. If I don't workout for a week, people will look at me like do I even lift. I was never genetically gifted at all, just working out harder, improving every year.
Thomas Bisignani it’s not genetics. The reason black people are superiors athlete most of the time is because of the culture they are raised in
LOL
GMB G it's genetics not totally culture
definitely a combination of both he can have all the genetics in the world but if he dont workout he wouldn't be like that
real respect for him
cool , humble dude , best of luck to him
The humblest dude in the world.
"Believe I can". Much respect Mr. willis.
Patrick Willis a beast yep got to work out got to stay big and strong OG faithful let's go Niners💪🙏
"It's not about what you have, it's how you work with what you have." Respect.
Love that about Patrick Willis!
I've been watching this every day before I go to the gym it's a good inspirational video the part where he says that you need to believe
Patrick Willis....Simply the Best!!!!
Your always welcomed back in RED&GOLD
Amazing man !!!!!miss u in football
😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣
I seriously used to struggle with finding motivation and confidence in the gym always had the strength but would doubt myself when surrounded by assholes who would strut around saying that I was weak and wont be able to play college football. I started watching this video every day before the gym and then when I get there I say "I believe" in my head over and over and it fuels me it works.
swear by March Im gonna be like this man! P.Willis is monster!! My motivation!!
My fav LB since antonio pierce retired, 49ers are lucky to have him
Awesome brother! Work hard hit hard be strong
Awesome vid keep up the great work cx
This guy is a beast....
Props to him. No excuses
This guy's attitude is the epitome of what every athlete should work for in terms of state of mind. He's not arrogant but he takes pride in what he does, "I like the way I look." "It works for me." And the biggest thing he said that stuck out for me is "When you think, you leave doubts. When you BELIEVE there's no doubts, you leave no margin for error." That's not a mindset that can be coached, you either have it or you don't, and that's the difference between a good athlete and a great one.
I do that every day in the gym it doesn't matter about your routine if it feels good and gets you results do whatever your freakin want!!! Patrick keep grinding what a beast.
Your routine definitely matters. As long as you are lifting heavy weights you will get results, but there are ways to maximize your gains and get strength and mass much faster. If you don't want to get results as fast as possible go ahead do whatever you want but if you are like me and want to get bigger and stronger faster you should follow a set routine.
If you are doing biceps everyday tho that is just counter productive you need to let you muscles recover.
Guy in the back at 1:02...on one leg...no excuses pure motivation!!!
Good video! Good quality and a beast of a football player.
He's got a great attitude.
Damn this is my motivation right here!
respect to that guy working out one leg!
how can you dislike this guy?
“i don’t know what im gonna do when i go to the gym. I just do whatever i feel works for me” peak gym bro philosophy. that man is a monster.
so glad hes on my team. #GoNiners
watching these vids from stack and youtube (big hit, body building, football, etc) helped me stay dedicated in the gym too. I'm hoping to squat 585-600 lbs soon. But I'm 40lbs heavier than you, but good luck bro!
I hope he has a monster year.
great attitude and workout tips P-Dub! go 9ers!!!
What a beast. You're going to the HOF Patrick just keep it up.
I always did Chest, shoulders, and tri's the same day and had great results. Plus the guy is an All-Pro so ya can't really question whaever he's doing cause it's working.
old vid..hes so much bigger now.. i see dude alot @ their training facility in santa clara.
BEAST! GO NINERS!
