Nice video, brong back a lot of memories. As a tip, dont start 2 engines at the same time. Only start 1 from the apu (eng 1 or 2). Then turn off the bleed air from apu to the eng 1 / 2 side. Start eng 3 and 4, separate from the apu and eng 1 or 2 from eng 1 or 2 (whichever you started first). Dont forget to put that eng in reverse for some more power.
On the actual C-17 the warbling tone with the WACS fail only plays once before the actual fail alarm starts, and it only plays twice. The other steady tone doesn’t play during the WACS Fail
Fuel pumps are wrong - the APU only pulls from tank 3. It will also run without the boost pumps on, it is gravity fed. However you will get APU on the WAP after 2 minutes due to low fuel pressure. That is if you’re only starting the APU, I started writing this before you got to engines lol.
Never mind I found the solution from the developer's page. By pointing the mouse at the apu switch and scrolling the mouse wheel downward, it will turn off the switch.
I'm struggling with the LNAV. I had direct route between two airports and the aircraft did not want to follow lnav (gps) magenta line. I had to use the HDG all the time. Did not find switch for NAV/GPS when I hit LNAV I got the CRS on PFD but I did not find the knob to adjust it.. And unfortunately there is no manual in terms of aircraft system and how to use AP only how to start from cold and dark. :(
how did you disconnect/get rid of the ground power unit? mines always there on start up a seem to always drag it along when taxiing until it dissapears on takeoff 😂
Glad to see a video from cold and dark on the c17

Hey I’ve been on 4177
Thanks for the video. Even after the latest update I still get a apu door warning on takeoff. Any tips on how to disable that?

How do you get the map on the EFB? I downloaded the latest version (4.1) and it doesn't have that.
