As a Console guy that misses out on all the freeware airbases i really appreciate that miltech put the effort into adding a few with this product.

Another great product from Miltech!
They had the ch-47 in a shooter game called Operation Flashpoint Cold war crisis. The bottom allowed for paratroopers to exit. It was fun, even had other helicopters too! Ofp was more of a mil sim, where ARMA some what hatched.
It sounds incredible.

two things, first of all, I'm sad this isn't on xbox, and second of all as a Billings resident I am super happy to see that BFS got a livery! They just used a CH-47D to lift a truck from below a cliff here in Billings, and they are always out flying, so I am super excited to hopefully get this soon!

the sounds are too quiet..there is a sound pack for fsx that is so much more realistic
Surprised you didn’t get a low rotor rpm warning and that the rotor speed didn’t drop off as you pulled on the collective considering you didn’t put the engine condition levers into Flight position so this looks and sounds good but they obviously aren’t using msfs helicopter physics
This is a currently shortcoming with our current flight model. Will be updated in a couple of weeks with the release of SU15, and added support for tandem rotor configuration.
Does hdg alt mode work for autopilot currently? They just flash yellow, can not get it to hold@@miltechsimulations

is the Raf Odiham scenery thats included the same as the freeware scenery? or better?
Oh no, this isn't the same, I would say it's more accurate and better on the Live side of the base, The living quarters and admin buildings behind the hangars are just generic scenery but to be honest, who looks at that part of the base anyway? RAF Odiham, Bryant Army Airfield and Chebelley Airfield are pretty accurate in terms of the side you will be using. The fact that sceneries have been included in the package, still astounds me! I love flying the Llama, it's twitchy but a lot of fun, so it was you? I did wonder who else used Odiham as I thought I was the only one! 🤣
@@boresight2020 yeah those extra scenerys are a nice touch , the whole package looks great.. yeah it were me a was taking a look around for when this dropped..

Are you kidding? Eagle Dynamics is already on it. They're making their own Chinook. I'll wait for it.

The FM needs a serious amount of work. an RC Copter would be more realistic to fly
The FM has been validated by Chinook pilots, as accurate as it gets in MSFS.
FS2020's helicopter flight physics can't compete with DCS.
Really? DCS can’t get any Helicopter physics right. I am guessing you only fly the F-16 with a comment like that.
