I've only watched the first 5 minutes, but I'm already impressed with your video, but also a little frustrated that even when copying your actions literally step-by-step my own Typhoon (Aerosoft sourced) will not detect or hold the blessed track line. It just slowly banks off to the left (sometimes the right). I can see my route. I can set a desired speed and altitude, and that all works. Even the Supercruise command delivers a roar of power, but simply holding the sim created route seems impossible.

I don't think my AP in my copy is working. I am following your instructions as close as I can. The first hurdle is when I switch on the AP button then try to do what you did by using the cursor arrows, up and down to change the desired altitude. Nothing happens. I guess there is a conflicting addon in my Community folder so I am slowly deleting stuff to find out if I am right and which one it is.

Reason for the many RAAF liveries is probably due to them not being finally retired until 2010. So they existed into the internet era...

As soon as you need payware to use it, it is not freeware. It's parasiteware. So, yeah screw this guy and his mod. He coulda used the default F/A-18E for the cockpit but chose to go the stupid route. I won't buy an aircraft I don't want to fly a parasiteware aircraft that I would have more interest, and yes, I understand that the T-45 is just the US version of the Hawk. An aircraft that one only has a passing interest in becomes more desirable when it is free, and the T-45 is anything but free. Parasiteware.

Thank you for the review, the chute is on the T2 as well and should deploy with reverse thrust of over 10% if I remember right but I will check. as for the chocks and covers they don't work for me wither so I will pass that onto Nat the Dev

Hi buddy, cracking video. Just a quick one - The IIb you showed at the start, it didnt/doesn't have the extended filter, that wasn't on this particular aircraft (NX924). Also, on xbox we CAN land on a carrier providing the wind settings are suitable. Due to carriers not having effect arrestor hooks, thr seafire cannot grab on to anything. With this in mind, it was decided to remove the carriers from the xbox players prior to launch on thr marketplace so that they wouldnt struggle or get annoyed. A potential fix is to add a similar option that the FI hellcat and GF wildcat has in that the tail hook will stop you automatically when its deployed. Informative as always buddy, keep up the great content.

Well mate, i took a punt on it today so that mowny would go to charity... Thats all its good for. Im really disappointed with this effort, its really poor! Sounds are bad, few teztures missing, glitches, overall jsut nowhere near as good as the DC3 they did unfortunately.

Is there any way to actually get the C-47 tow aircraft to tow you in a particular direction or toward a particular destination? I assume most people would like to simulate d-day and be towed across the channel, but I don't think we can actually control the direction of the tow aircraft in MSFS like that.

They sold us on so much bull on MSFS2020 . And MSFS2024 will be the same broken game. The fact that No one on the MSFS team didn't think if a replay says it all. And why did I buy the Premium Deluxe ? You get nothing more. Airports that I don't use and a discount on aircraft that I would never buy anyway. I have a 4080 and nothing more to say about how it runs in VR.

Top priority for me is that passengers turn and wave at you when you switch to external camera. Seriously though, I'm really looking forward to the additional fine detail on steep terrain rather than the "smeared texture" look that has plagued games since the dawn of time. It will make low & slow heli flying much more fun.

Just tried the RADALT HOLD for the 1st time, its insane, yes the crabbing is an issue at the min but im sure the guys will be right on that asap.

I think you maybe on the right track with the whole cut scene thing, you would need an uber machine to run all that in real time at busy multiplayer airports. But MS PR doing their level best to leave us with more questions than answers again but that is of course their aim to peak your interest. of course id like to see multiplayer cockpits, i can think of a few I'd like to make spew in VR LOL. But November isn't too far away so lets keep a beady eye on what else crops up. Great vid as always mate 🙂

Multi crew I’ve been wanting that before msfs2020 came out.. I bought 3 premium versions.. 2 for me for multicrew plus one for a friend.. When I found out there wasn’t even a multicrew I was like come on asobo what r u thinking… hardly any plane up there is not multicrew

Hey Boresight (or anyone else who may know), how do you open the pilot's door with ladder and crewman? I've searched the cockpit and have been unable to find a switch.

Great stuff....There was a load of D-Day related craft on route to Normandy and circling the beaches on D-Day...so well done to the simmers for that. Felt great seeing them all.

Brit glider pilot regiment pilots in normandy were told to return to allied lines and fly another load back over the next night. In Arnhem that was obviously not an option for the Brits and so yes as you say they had to fight. I don't know what the Americans did but certainly the Brits did try to get their pilots back and take another load the next night where it was possible. Also the Horsa and Hamilcar were better gliders than these little Wacos.

Definitely feels like it was rushed out, obviously it’s just a reskin of the dc3 with some added extras, but it’s still fun, the free livery pack for pc is also good even if it has a couple of texture bugs.

Tutorial on how to launch ?

The Sim is very basic in how it can do Radio Altitude station keeping, the sims radio altimeter looks straight down so has not idea how rapidly terrain height is changing. In the real world a terrain following radar is used that looks forward of the aircraft. The crash dive you went into was due to the condition of the aircraft when you activated the Baro Hold. You were at 3100ft in a +3000fps climb. The aircraft was at 4000ft before the climb leveled off then dove trying to get back to 3100ft, at that point it was at +3000fps decent and doing 200kts. The documentation is pretty clear the Alt Hold modes should be engaged in stable level flight.
