I think this might be for switch 2 because they said it is in the pro type stage. So if they going to add GameCube to NSO then it be for the next switch to bring the price up for the next switch. 😅

Nintendo 64 was really bad, very limited. But with Gamecube, games started to look very good and play very well!! Many gems from that generation.
GameCube was Nintendo’s most powerful console ever and should be revived for next generation as the GameCube 2.

City Skylines 2 is still generating monster gameplay problems for PC players. It's not remotely close to being stable enough to start cranking out $ from pc DLCs. Colossal order is going to get those fires out before they start trying to push sales from console owners.
It sucks that its been delayed, but that delay is a GREAT thing. PC problems are literally gamebreaking to the point that some of the most prominent CS content creators (who have been the backbone of the entire player base for years), have actually "had tea" with Collosal Order devs about the problems... as in "You are either going to fix this or everybody is going back to playing CS1" level conversations 😅.
Paradox needed a release, CS2 got rushed out the door, and now everybody is standing around trying to maintain one of the tightest game communities that's ever happened (in atual spite of paradox😂).
Looking forward to playing CS2 on Switch 2 hardware tho lol
"continuing the Gamecube on Switch library"... BRO..... it's been SWITCH generation what 5-6 gamecube games? out of 800+ gamecube OFFICIAL lIBRARY... damn it.. I wanted switch online so we could get 10-15 gamecube games or bit less PER YEAR.. for new nintendo ecosystem. F it, at this point, okay BRING it only back for SALE gamecube ports.. OKAY.. but bring 5-7 per year.

I really want that to happen too but unfortunately it will never ever happen because the studio Silicon Knights that made the game no longer exists and they were the only ones that owned the licensing to the game so since they no longer exist nintendo will never be able to get any renewed licensing to remake or remaster the game.

The GameCube was a horrendous system !! Everything about it was terrible from the controllers to the small discs that could barely hold any data.... the only games that were decent were Wave Race, & F-zero but even those titles got old quick.
Personally think the gamecube is the best home console ever made I like every 1st party title they released and I love the controller only complaint I have is there's no second shoulder button but I will give you the smaller disc limit was pretty stupid if they went with regular disc they probably would have dominated

Love the gamecube and I still have mine with a good library of games and it all still works but I really do not want nintendo to do remasters and re-releases of GC games because they will all be 60+ dollars and will never drop in price.......I really hate nintendo for the most part because of their blatant anti consumerism and hatred for their fans but there is no denying they made the most legendary systems and games in gaming. Oh yea, and any gamecube games that I cannot get I just pirate them and use emulators on PC because screw nintendo.
Loved the GameCube, and the backward compatibility on the Wii, but otherwise have no interest in Nintendo's hardware. Guessing this will be outperformed by fanmade emulators yet again.

I don't buy it. There's no way they'll do GC on NSO when they've now seen they can resell GC games at full price if they update the visuals.
Also, the GC controller is so overrated... It was comfortable to hold & worked well enough for specific GC games, but it was not a great all-purpose controller. If Nintendo updated it with improved features, THEN it would truly be he GOAT.
