- It was recently confirmed hat we have another entry coming into the Battlefield franchise. But what will this look like? What should it have? In this video I give some of my opinions on what the next game could look like and what it should have to make itself a good Battlefield game!

i miss the days when stone, jackfrags and several others were mainly battlefield players...

In the words of Angry Joe, "Battlefield done f***ed up". That's not the fault of the creators.
The good news is, the new BF needs to look and feel better than Delta Force to stay relevant. So even if it’s on par with that, it’ll automatically feel better than 2042.

No worries all battlefields included 2042 felt better in terms of movement, bf3/bf4 weapons handling and hit detection/ttk are better.

@@mh518 It definitely doesn’t look like shit. Call of Duty’s weapon animations are the top tier at the moment, especially the ones from MWII 2022. But BF3 will always be the superior title. It’s better than every BF game since and is more or less the greatest multiplayer FPS ever made. It still looks real. However, we’re yet to see if DICE is even capable of reaching that quality again since all of the veteran devs at the studio left.
Delta Force looks like how 2042 should have felt and performed, if DICE doesn’t at least pass that quality, no one will play their game.

@@wuestsiderx1843 Same man, the console FPS market is pretty stale. I play on PC too but console only really has Hell Let Loose, Insurgency, Isonzo (these three are the new holy FPS trilogy to jump back and forth to) the newest CoD and 2042. We need more options.
i wish they would let me play bf3 and 4 at all, without bricking my games ("your game is invalid""..blablah bullsh!...) .. apparently switching from origin to origin thin to ea-app to FU.K YOU bc they can is the way to go now....
A remaster with even more improvements to destruction would be incredible. Plus BF1 level of grit. Gimme that

I can’t help but get hyped as hell. I really do feel like Vince knows what we want. He is going to be the difference maker. The problem is no other games can even come close to the action a Battlefield game brings. I’ve tried Delta Force, COD ground war etc. the first 5 minutes in a BF game (even 2042) you feel it. They hit different. I love shooting a tank and seeing a hot orange hole in the side of the tank. The explosions are unmatched, the destruction is the best. Even when it’s not great, it beats most games.
I think Bad Company 2 was the hay day of Battlefield. Absolutely loved that game

Ive played every BF game since day one, left it on the release of BF5. I’ve always wanted Dice to release Battlefield Bad Company 3, 2 had imo the best multiplayer with FULL destruction not scripted like on BF 3&4 although I really enjoyed them both BF1 was amazing so if they’re going back to the days of BF 3&4 then I’ll be at the front of the queue for next years release. You really need a full 4 man squad to really enjoy any Battlefield game tbh

Who else remembers the map from bf3 where you started by a satellite dish and once you capture the objective you had to jump off the side of a cliff to the other objective? One of my all time favorite maps
Operation Metro will always be the GOAT map. Never got boring
I started following you when you were putting out Battlefield 3 videos. It’s fun to see where your channel has gone and how big it has become. Keep up the great content!
I will say this, Vince Zampella can get this game back to some where near it's glory days. He had great direction for Titanfall and Apex Legends and was able to deliver something even EA can't deny. I heard they called him in to fix 2042 and from the mates that still play it, all say it is in a much better place than launch.

Oh man, I can't wait for a new BF. Levelution was so EPIC! Bf3 and Bf4 were definitely my favorites.
i had so much fun playing the battle royale in battlefield 5, i rememeber some crazy plays with teams or solos, the last few years any time ive qued it ususally doesnt find a game or ill get in one with a few other players and nothing like it was before but so many memories lol
Running from a tank in a tractor will always hold a special place in my memory 😂
Oh man, seeing that zeppelin brought back memories of it coming down on ballroom blitz. Just about everyone in the server would stop and watch.
I've so many great memories with BF4, and still now and then I still play it.
Can’t wait for a Modern free to play Battlefield Battle Royale. Dice is far better than Activision at making large game modes, as long as they don’t take the 2042 route when it comes to big empty maps
They need to stay the hell away from BR…they’ve failed every attempt.
@@TristanAD_ they made one attempt. They did not fail as far as gameplay goes, they failed because it was WW2 and was not free to play

Battlefield 1943 they released for Xbox way back as a standalone online multiplayer for something crazy like 1200 MS Points was absolutely peak I played it every single day with my friends, miss those days of pure fun.
I truly hope BF lives up to the hype. I have never been a BF fan. Always been a COD fan...but with the yearly buggy bad games COD releases, i would like to try something new.
Ever played Squad? IMO Squad is what BF should(have) evolved to.

DO NOT preorder this game. Never forget, they owe the fans...
People can do what they want. If someone is going to buy the game regardless, might as well preorder it and get a few rewards with it, it only makes sense.
@@jensenjhawks10 it's fine for people to encourage others to be cautious about buying a game preorder from a company whose last couple games were complete messes.
Other people are absolutely allowed to preorder this game, he's allowed to tell people he thinks they shouldn't and that it's dumb to pay a company for a product ahead of time when their past two products have been overall subpar
A bf battle royale with the class systems , one example medic being only the one who can revive dead team mates no buy backs like cod etc , bring the score streak system from bf5 and fortifications , you could have the defibrillators in the score streak so you have to earn score to be able to use them and other things like v1 rockets , tanks etc, being able to extract tanks out of the game to then upgrade and customise to bring into the next game when you’ve earned enough score , unpredictable levoultion moments in the map and instead of a final circle you could have a final extraction you fight over and you have to clear the sector out of other players before you use it and can escape the map
Battlefield and BR does not mix…😅 why not just let BR games be BR games and hope Battlefield is a good Battlefield game. Reasons we end up playing specific game modes and usually playing the same people is because there’s too many different game modes and people get too spread out

BF1 was my favorite BF game made, I don't believe in pre-ordering games but am praying on the success of this game, please dice!!! I believe in you!
Give us a remastered BF4. I would pay $100!
If they release it as a full price offering I'll check in about 30 days after it's release and see how it's going at that point. My expectations are... limited at this point.
Things do look MUCH more promising. NO HERO's and back to a CLASS system is a HUGE step in the right direction. If they do this right, this could be one of EA/DICES's biggest come ups and a HUGE WIN for BF fans. I WILL NOT PRE ORDER. But I will play beta, and if it SLAPS they have won me back. I remain HIGHLY cautious but optimistic.
Can we finally get:
1. Time Variation - Maps randomly start at either morning, noon, dusk, or Midnight.
2. Weather Variation - Sunny/Clear, cloudy, overstcast, rain, fog, thunderstorm, snowing, sandstorm, hurricane(windy), ect.
3. Combine Commander Mode with Hacker Mode from BF: Hardline.
Would be nuts if each named Town on the map has different Levelution.
But I would LOVE if they updated the Commander role for Conquest where you can go Drone mode and accurately drop airstrikes, supply drops, UAV, etc. As well as the classic Commander screen, maybe put the Drone mode on cooldown if it gets shot down.
They need to offer the Battle Royale in hardcore mode too. That’s my problem with all of these extra modes like Warzone etc. I’m a hardcore player through and through and can’t enjoy these modes because they’re designed around bullet-sponge gunplay.

Firestorm was my favorite BR game out. I don't know why it didn't get more attention
the thing I liked about sniping in battlefield 3, 4 and 1, it wasn't just point and shoot, you had to adjust the velocity range or what ever its called.
I loved levolution personally. It got a lot of hate but if done well, I think it makes the game way more interesting and feel alive.
Hardline was also underrated hopefully they take some influence from it for the BR
Bf5's building mechanic needs to come back, me and my friends were dedicated to rebuilding the frontline on breakthrough
Armory of BF4, immersion of BF1 and movement of BF5. And better destruction/netcode.
Make everything destructible and realistic. If your taking cover behind a brick wall or a tree and such, it should take x amount of rounds/round type to destroy it.
I own every Battlefield game except Hardline. I’m a bit of a fan boy, I will always be excited for a new Battlefield. I just hope they knock it out of the park with this one.
I remember back when everyone thought "Levelution" was so goofy. Now, we'd take that over what we have now.
Firestorm was one of the best battleroyals ever made, not to mention the graphics of the game. absolutely briliant. the only bad thing in that was the loot. was hard to loot and keep up with the speed of the game. also the start was way too slow witch killed it. if they make battleroyal they have to keep up with the waiting time like other battleroyals. its a must. hands down Firestorm is the most beautiful battleroyal
I used to play the heck out of battlefield 4, now I only play DayZ because the traditional PvP games got out of hand with unrealism…. If they manage to pull this off and go back to the realism vibes, and modern or even historic, but relatable environments, I will definitely be coming back, and I’m sure a lot of others will. Now is their chance to blow an Under achieving COD out of the water 🌊🐟 lol

Ayeeee. Hardline was a solid game. They did great with it. But yea the maps from bf4 compared to bf2042 are night and day. Bf4 was peak

Played BF3, BF4 for 8 years, bf5 for over 3. I will never preorder again after 2042. Luckily they will have a free to play aspect. Hoping they knock it out of the park, I'll leave cod and come back if it's great. Anything less and I'll just keep playing wallhacking sweats for fun
45 weapons for 7 categories of weapons. AR,SMG,SNIPER,DMR,SHOTGUN, MACHINE GUN,PISTOLS, it's borderline. I really hope they bring something similar to the gunsmith in cod. Because BF always had a very limited weapon customization. For example the barrel is in the same section as a muzzle which made no sense. A battle pass with cosmetics based on military design and not too flashy. Bring back the dog tags system like it was in BF2142/BF3.
Battlefield 2042 was a "love note to fans" thats all we need to know. So I wonder how out of touch they are going to be this game?

Battlefield 2142 has always been my all time favorite. I'm hoping one day they do a remaster
There needs to be contracts, buy stations, and killstreaks.
I don’t think the movement will be faster faster but maybe the game modes will have smaller game modes? I hope they bring back the S&D style mode or a hostage mode from Hardline. Those game modes have always been super fun for me. I’ll be happy with a good rush game mode though 🤣 who knows… maybe I’ll even get to play with the old crew again 💜 a man can dream… a man can dream.
It would of been nice we can design our own patches on our arms and our vehicles instead of the preload logo on the vehicles we can put our own design. And alot more destruction when it comes to buildings.
i fucking loved battlefield hardline ive played since bad company 2 and ive spent thousands of hours in every battlefield and i personally think hardline was one of the most fun battlefields ever blood money killing people and them dropping cash you gotta haul back to your teams stash while being chased by players cars etc super fun i think i was 15-16 yrs old playing that game and its super nostalgic for me i miss it i personally think hardline had the most fun game modes in battlefield existence MOST HATED BUT LOVED BY MANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The reason i still have hope is because i grew up loving the BF games. They were stunning and so fun. Much better than CoD in my opinion. CoD was for young kids and teens where as BF was gor a more mature audience

the thing is a BR from battlefield that is free to play might work, having a long brake from br modes due to hackers in cod warzone, i hope battlefield br is good and better security for hackers, like i get its hard thing to stop but i just hate how its in every big game now and it kills it off
Firestorm was legit, up until the moment Criterion had to gove control back to Dice, at that moment it went to crap
Make it like BF4 and add a Milsim mode.
This, plus the incredible moments and gunplay that makes BF special would make it stand out from call of duty’s fantasy BS.

I don't think battle royale is the way to go warzone and fortnite have this space and battlefield with its history it'll be uphill a struggle, I think extraction shooter would be better.They also better take note of delta force as well as that will competition for them.

They should make an extraction mode like delta force… not that hazard zone mess though. But yeah BF definitely needs another BR…. Firestorm was nice. I feel like BRs are making a comeback (though it never really left) since extraction shooters are so niche and PC exclusive.

They should really make sure that community servers are available at launch, and take the things that worked from every battlefield game in the past, like fortifications, naval combat, vehicle towing, bfv/bf2042 movement and gunplay and vehicle mechanics. I hate when game developers take one step forward and 5 steps back by removing things from games that worked or made them fun.
The 2042 and BFV movement is literally what killed the new battlefield.They tried to make it acrady like cod which made battlefield lose it’s identity.They should not add arcade movement to the next battlefield and they should make it grounded like BF1 and realistic
Hopefully they have learned and will make this game work and be running well when it launches. Im definitely excited for something different from battlefield but ita gotta be done right. I haven't played battlefield since 4

Battlefield will never be perfect but it will always be amazing fun. 2042 was as well. It's not because you take fall damage that you can't get back up and be the best.
I bet they see how successful the finals destruction is and want to duplicate that
BF4 multiplayer was just different time, when gaming was fun and not competitive all the time!
Just a solid BR with destruction and good gameplay would be great.
Guns better have recoil. HUD better be simplistic. Things better feel more like battlefield. Tired of them messing it up
