Im am impressed how fast you seemed to adapt to the endurobike and relatively challenging terrain. After all the 500 is quite brutal compared to a 350 for example. Look forward to your choice of companion bike.
@@NomadSweden ok that explains it partly, but honestly I could see some real talent there. Only thing to comment is you where 3 seconds late on the throttle on the sand hill climbs👊✊💨😀
500 is better to ride than 350, lots more torque means lower revs, less fatigue - people misunderstand the bike - i own 500, i also own sxf 450 and had a 350
Had to make a similar decision, I used to ADV ride on my Suzuki DRZ for 7 years. Decided it was time for an upgrade, was looking at the Africa Twin, but after trying it out, felt that it was way too heavy for my liking. Ended up going for a Husqvarna 701 Enduro as there was a good deal for it. Really hits the sweet spot for me.
I own both the T7 and a 500excf. As someone who loves all forms of onroad and offroad motorcycling, these two bikes are the perfect arsenal to do do anything from long distance motocamping/commuting/street shenanigans to local trail riding and every bit of technical offroad/single track ive thrown myself at.
Great video, thanks for sharing! I have a 2017 KTM 1090R for fast pavement rides to easy off-road trails, and a 2023 KTM 350 EXC-F for technical and difficult off-road trails. Makes no sense to try and do everything on one bike.
Coming from street bikes/baggers with light dirt riding to a used tour kitted T7. The first thing I thought about is reducing the weight, took off the heavy gear and put on a Mivv Dakar exhaust. Those extra 20kg really make a difference off-road technically and mentally. I still worry about getting stranded on the T7 due to a drop at a bad angle.

Happy to see anybody ditching the heavy bikes for lighter ones. It's a no-brainer I think. The 500EXC is a well known platform, the 450 KOVE looks amazing, but I personally fear and avoid anything the first year it's sold. Prediction: you ride the lighter bike more than the T7. You don't have to go into such serious places to enjoy having a lighter bike either!
Indeed I will not no this hard riding very often. But I did enjoy the bike on the trails that I normally do, and I am keeping the T7 until I see which bike I use the most :)

Wow, what a way to get a test ride👌alot of us are thinking the same sort of choices as we are on similar journeys with how we use our bikes - looking forward to a Kove vid
Awesome, honest video for T7 fans Robert! I love my T7 but fear of the wheels sliding out due to the weight (I broke a rib last time) is taking some of the fun away. I'm thinking a 2023 Yamaha WR450 would be good for the gnarly enduro sections; although I'll still be riding RallyMoto's Kielder Dark Skies on my T7 at the end of October...
I just changed my DR650 tires to 60/40 dirt/road tires. That made a world of difference for confidence at lean. The horrible trailwings (aka Deathwings) would slip at lean, but keep slipping. It's obvious to see why: they round off and don't have knobbies sticking out on the edges. Traction starts to fall off and keeps falling. Every proper dirt tire I've ridden can start to slip at lean, but then claws it's way back into traction. The shinko 244's I put on aren't full dirt tires, but they have some of that. My friend was laughing watching video of some of my extreme swerve-recoveries as I was intentionally playing to learn their at lean capabilities. They aren't full MX tires, but they are excellent all-arounder's for dual sport/ADV.
Nice video ! I went for the 701 enduro (husky) wich is the perfect middle between an T7 and a real Enduro bike. Only 160 kg with full tank and servicing is only each 10 000kms. Real road capable bike and very good at offroading. It just need an rally tower, I went for the rade garage, but the rebel one is also very good.
What a great video. The two rally class rider really gave you a work out. Your not too bad your self. I had a 530 KTM and I just loved the sound of that engine on excelleration and the fact that see would pull hard in any gear from down low on the revs. I think I've heard good ratings but horsepower is down compared to the KTM rally and the KTM 500. Also the weight is up there with your T-7 I think.
No way, we have literally followed the same bike choice again!! I got my new T7 around the same time as you, just a couple of months ago I got it a little friend and purchased my 2014 KTM 500 exc!! I really think It’s a truly brilliant combination of bikes that covers all riding, you won’t be disappointed. Although my T7 is getting jealous because I keep taking the KTM out!!
@@NomadSweden ooh exciting!! My money is on the Kove or AJP! I couldn’t afford the Kove because it’s too new, so didn’t dare test ride one! Looking forward to your next video.
I have a FE450 and it really ables me to have fun adventures on TET or singletracks. No worries when I get stuck or drop it. Light ADV seems so much better.
I just downsized from the small 390 adv bike to a 500 for the same reasons as you. I bought the 390 because it was the smallest adv bike, but what I didn't know at the time was that I'd be picking it up a lot in the tough stuff. Got a on list for the 24' 500 exc-f and took delivery a couple weeks ago. It is more fun, confidence inspiring and ridiculously capable in every possible way than a small adv bike. I love it. Will probably sell the 390 as I can't bring myself to ride it anymore with the 500 right next to it. The Kove looks great, but the lack of dealer network, parts, service, reliability longevity unknown, Chinese resale values are too many checks against it for now. If it takes off in a few years and proves itself I'd consider one.🍻
Get the Husky FE 501, to match your old Husky jacket. Basically the same as the KTM 500. I had a 501 and loved it, but decided to go even lighter and now have a TE300i two stroke. Cheers
@@NomadSweden yes 501 has linkage on rear shock, 500 has PDS. Maybe other minor differences? Both are amazing bikes. I miss my 501. Just pick your favourite colour and ride it. You ride really well and this bike will improve your skills even more. Then you can apply those skills to the T7. Cheers
I went the exact same route as you. Started on a GSA, ditched that for a T7 after a demo ride. Picking up a Beta 500 RS in a few weeks to go along side the T7
There seems to be am overwhelming enlightenment of sorts lately with this mass exodus of ADV riders progressively moving to smaller steeds. I too went from a GS to an Africa Twin to an 890 ADV R to a 450L and now I am on a KTM 500 EXC-F. The lighter weight bikes are so much easier to handle at slower, more technical speeds off-road and they ultimately make the average/non-pro rider more effective when things get technical. I'd like to add in another true ADV bike to my stable in the near future for trips where I need to slab it for long sections n between trails but I have yet to decide if that means going all the way back to a full-size GS/GSA or if another 890 will find its way into my garage. Either way, I am happy to have my 500 and there's no way I'd take a Chicom startup bike over a well established, fully backed, known quantity like the KTM 500. But at the end of the day it's great to see that others are slowly making a move to smaller, lighter bikes as well, because lets be honest here, as we age we really do need all the help we can get in order to stay active in this hobby/sport. In regards to the video, that tunnel/drainage ditch y'all rode in was epic, I'd kill for an opportunity to ride something like that. In regards to the Kove 450, I can't speak with experience as I haven't ridden one, but from all reviews and ride reports they say the power delivery is more like a 350, so a feeling of something between a 450 Rally and a 500 like you hope for is not likely. IMHO, a 500 with subtle mods to turn it into an ultra lightweight ADV bike of sorts is the ticket and that's exactly what I did with mine. Best of luck with your decision and a warm hello from Texas.
The average rider who intends to ride trails is crazy if they think that an ADV bike will suit their needs. The majority of ADV bikes I see are clearly not used anywhere other than sealed or gravel roads. If buying an ADV bike for the purpose of being able to ride on a gravel road, that too is a waste of money because a touring road bike with appropriate tyres is also capable. In fact I road down a loose gravel road from 1600 metres above sea level on an Yamha R1 with tyres which were one level below racetrack tyres (I barely used front brake and had to use rear brake to turn on switchbacks). The point I'm trying to make is that weight is your enemy if riding trails and a non professional rider has no place on trails with an ADV. Cheers
Try a modded (tm40 and pipe) DR and see if that works for you. It will do freeway all day long without burning oil. It's a lot lighter than a T7, and it has a low center of gravity. I just threw an RMZ450 front end on mine, for a big suspension improvement.
@@cyclemoto8744 I've taken all my street bikes off-road. A lot of people are only doing very light offroad, but I 100% agree about weight. *Most of the "ADV" bikes are really just more capable tourers.* You _can_ take them offroad. The extra suspension helps. But they aren't really meant for it. It's fine for taking a service road to a camping spot or open forest (but then so are my street bikes, albeit at less comfort and more effort). I'd put the T7 as a middle-weight AVD bike. It's capable in the right hands, and engineered for it more than most bikes, but it's still very heavy. A lot of people buy the T7, then end up selling it because of the weight. If I had one, I would love it!... but still want a lightweight dirtbike to hang with the dirtbike crowd offroad. My dr650 is good enough to do both the freeway and keep up with the dirtbike friends. But it won't ever feel as good on the road as a T7. Anyone looking to tour/camping trip moto with light offroad to the camping spots should love the T7. I could see my cousin who loves her Triumph Tiger liking the T7. Now the category of lightweight ADV bikes is interesting. We need a few more modern 400-500cc's to really make this category shine.
Check out the new Fantic XEF 450 Rally, it is based on the Yamaha WRF 450, think the changed the gearing and maybe oil volume. Weight 140 kg dry and 30 liters fuel capacity.
I got a Fantic XEF 450 Rally. Disappointing on the handling side. They did not manage to make the tanks to the chassis size. They are way too wide so they compromise everything, and with a huge sacrifice in rideability. The bike feels heavy and large even if its based on a very good Yamaha WR. I would consider the prep made by xrebels before this one (they do Yamaha or Fantic). They are going to be much more cost-effective than a KTM or Husqvarna once you add all the prep you must go through. @@NomadSweden
Wow, that’s one way to test out a Bike you’ve never been on before. That was Tough, but you made it through. I do think you would have had a better test of the Bike riding through Trails like you would want to Ride on. Great Video, i was really impressed with the KTM 450. Big Howdy from Texas. Looking forward to the next Video. New Subscriber.👍👍
Smaller biges for more grazy adventures. I have loved my Honda CRF300 Rally. It makes me wanna go everywhere. Rally Raid 2 suspensions, Black Widow exthaust, EJK and 14/45 sprockets made it even better. And some other mods... Owned it now a year and now waiting for winter again. I'd like to test drive that Kove 450 too.
These smaller bikes are cool ! Im not worried about my T7. I’ve downsized from Super Tenere so T7 for me feels like a toy. Super Tenere was a tank off-road but never had a serious problems. Of course you have to think twice before you go somewhere.
I had the same idea as you. Got rid of the GS Adventure and now have a Husqvarna FE501 with a rally tower and bigger tank. Soon to be joined in the new year by a Tenere 700!!
Wow that was a satisfying testride! I am also in the process of building an adventure enduro. Mine is based on Swedish finest, a Husaberg 70 degrees FE 450. Everything is almost too easy on these bikes 😅. My problem is that it is hard to find spares and aftermarket solutions, for the KTM 500exc everything is available. The Kove looks like an off the shelf ADV Enduro, very tempting…
I recently bought T7 World Raid and I love it. But this video comes just on time. As, I was thinking about going more steep off-road here in the Balkans.
500. The end. A friend of mine tried a Beta in the US ... needed a part... 2 weeks. Will be same with China bike. The KTM 500 has dealer support. I have one. Love it. It's the end all. I also have the SM swap. 2 bikes in one. GET IT! Oh... and add a Rekluse clutch asap.
I literally did the same thing, but unfortunately had to replace T7. I got Husqvarna 501 today after couple of buddies took me on hard enduro with that weapon. :)
What was that with the cave? A baptism to enduro??!! I have an T7 too and i thinkin to sell it for an mt 09 and to an cheap enduro.. But i want one 4 stroke with less maintance
Had an 2019 ATAS, too top heavy imho, then got me the 2024 ATAS DCT and it’s a dream !!! Also had a Husky 701 but didn’t love her, switch to Beta 390 and it’s so versatile for off road but lacking the highway capability. Prob a 500 exc would be a good alternative for a mix of off road and highway use.
There is no bottom grunt with a KOVE 450. My KTM 500EXC-f can be a tractor when I want it to be and a rocket when I want it to be, just like the old CR500.
I like the horse comparison, my wife also has horses. We can many more horses into one stable with motorcycles. What about the KTM690 Enduro? I done a week in the Pyreneese on my T7WR with a lad on the KTM690, with some off road, and my friend thinks it’s the orange Unicorn, and a better service schedule to the 500. You’ve got some great skills Robert, some of that was narly.
Yes there are so many options. But if I keep the T7 I want to have the seconds bike small enough not to confuse myself which bike to ride and when. Thanks :)
Literally just paid the invoice on the Kove 450 Rally. Should have it in a few weeks. Started on a WR250R; sold it for more power - going to an Aprilia Tuareg 660. Had the Tuareg for a few months when I noticed how heavy it was to pick up. Sold the Tuareg and bought a Honda 450L, which I modified heavily, but it was just too twitchy and uncomfortable on the road (heard it's more comfortable than the KTM 500 EXC and the Beta). I've sold the Honda and will hope that the Kove is my unicorn. As an older rider, I hope this gives me the something I can ride to the trails and enjoy in the dirt without the worry of being stuck (not being able to get my bike back up). Also, I love a light bike in the city.
What are you srsly hoping to get from Kove compared to bikes you tested and didnt like? More comfort? no way you will get that. All those extra bits just make it much more heavier then normal 350-500 enduro bike. Do you really need that 600km range? :D There is huge pay for that considering the weight and complexity
300-350cc more than enough for fun off-road, mud, hill climbing... I own AT, but for off-road I have 300cc Chinese dirt bike. And it fully covered all my wishes 😄 Also 300cc bike good for skill.
I rented a Honda CRF300 for a week to ride the ACT overthere. I was impressed by this little bike. So full of fun and easy to ride. 2 disadvantages are , suspension to soft ( needs an upgrade) and the bike feels vera small. At home a have a KTM890 advR . But for offroad i will prefure the Honda above my own KTM ( To heavy). So for offroad i am thinking about downsizing
Neat little bike, but I would recommend you try some others before buying. See if you know anyone with a wr450 or similar, etc. You might find a little more torque is a lot more fun and less work when the going gets rough.
Hahaha, this was cool to see tjommi 🙌🏻 Damn, there is no doubt, there is a different weapon for each use case. Loved the saying in the car.... damn I wish this bike was 100 kg more 😂 I can see a 500 in the future for you 🤣

Ironically, I've gone from a 1200GS (Waterhead), to a KTM 890 ADV R, to a Tenere 700 AND have a Husky FE501 I'm building as a dedicated mostly off road ADV/Enduro. I find the sign of an experienced rider is when you stop chasing horsepower and start really enjoying the ride more then the bike.
approx 105kg for the 500 - 150 for the KOVE - I love the Kove and i want one bad after riding it but it is a heavy bike in reality and halfway between the Tenere and the 500, it also has no power compared to the 500 - it is a revvier bike and is operating in a small window as comparison to 500....If you mention weight etc as the shortcoming in your riding and bravery then you should go the 500 route, i own the 500 and it is a real weapon in any condition - enjoy whatever you choose, i am sure you will love the Kove if you get to try it but not the same as 500, not close
@@NomadSwedenoh yeah I'm not preaching, we are all different, you felt the difference between the rally and the 500 Different bikes aren't they, totally design wise
I have the same dilema and my short list is Kove 450, KTM 500 and Beta 480/500. Kove is a nice pachege for 9000 € but still new and Chinese, KTM has a lot of aftermarket parts to be transformed in an light adventure but that engine vibrates like hell, Beta comes from the factory the list uncorked and the engine is more smoother than the KTM but no so many aftermarket parts... tough choice but I think I will go with Beta 😊
The 500 doesn't vibrate that much. A set of grip puppies and you'll be fine. You should try to ride an older 2005 KTM 640 Adventure (I used to own one). A paint shaker in comparison to the 500.
@@C_R_O_M________ To be onest I didn't ride the 500 but I did ride the old 640 and my assumption is based on that shaking experience 😬 and I hope is true what you are saying because I can't see myself doing 200 k per day on that vibrator plate 😀
I'm like a Finnish photocopy of your bike situation. I own the T7 and CRF300L now and I'm looking in to the EXC 450-500 and/or the Kove 450. I've already been asking the Finnish importer for months to get to ride the Kove but they have some regulatory issues in the EU that push the launch here until next year. There is still no clear date set but it's possible that early 2024 we at least get to see one in the country. I'm gonna do a test ride immediately whenever it's possible. Even during winter if they let me I have a good deal on the 2023 model 450 EXC now that I might go for thoguh... Awesome video as usual ✌
Thanks! Yes exciting times with all the bikes. I just read on Facebook that Kove will pass the Euro5 in November so hoping for this to be true. But I guess it will be early 2024 before it's at the dealers.
@@NomadSwedenThis is what I got from my dealer: "Kove's type approval is unfortunately taking longer. The previous update was that the type approval should be ready in mid-November. Only after that the bikes can be loaded onto the ship and they will arrive in Europe in a couple of months. The current estimate is January/February. Let's hope it doesn't move any further."
Hi, sorry for asking it here (under not related video). I'm thinking a 2023 Yamaha WR450 would be good for the gnarly enduro sections; although I'll still be riding RallyMoto's Kielder Dark Skies on my T7 at the end of October...
Yes the small bike is a safer feeling. The WR450 is a 5 speed race machine so not for my adv plans
I have ktm 500 exc-f since 6 years, awesome bike and good complement really to T7
Really nice, after 12 years of motorbike, my 8th bike was a 2023 Habyabusa, I sold it for a 2024 T7. Best choice ever ^^
Indeed nice bike. It's a good replacement for the T7 if you want less weight, but as a companion to the T7 I want it even lighter.
I wouldn't discount a DRZ400 or Honda 300L Rally either. Lots of great options out there. Looking forward to seeing what you pick 😄
Too many options!! :D
450 rally has decent power and good handling ,riding one right now
What a great video.
Yeah the KTM is provably my pick as Kove is too close to the T7 👍🏻
No way, we have literally followed the same bike choice again!! I got my new T7 around the same time as you, just a couple of months ago I got it a little friend and purchased my 2014 KTM 500 exc!! I really think It’s a truly brilliant combination of bikes that covers all riding, you won’t be disappointed. Although my T7 is getting jealous because I keep taking the KTM out!!
Haha 500 EXC is a super fun bike. But I eventually got a different bike because of what I can ride in my surroundings. To be revealed...
That's what I am looking for :)
1:48 🤣 I'm showing this to my wife because we are in a very similar situation! Thank you!
Good luck 🍀
So many choices 😊
Brilliant! I need one too
I started with a smaller bike (Beta 390) and just added the T7. The weight difference is something I need to get used to.
Well done on the riding and effort! That cave was crazy! I also appreciate the translation.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice test drive with All in travell Steve 😄👍🏻🔥
Get the Husky FE 501, to match your old Husky jacket. Basically the same as the KTM 500. I had a 501 and loved it, but decided to go even lighter and now have a TE300i two stroke. Cheers
Thanks :) Yes I will consider it. I hear the 501 has a different, better suspension?
@@NomadSweden yes 501 has linkage on rear shock, 500 has PDS. Maybe other minor differences? Both are amazing bikes. I miss my 501. Just pick your favourite colour and ride it. You ride really well and this bike will improve your skills even more. Then you can apply those skills to the T7. Cheers

There are really crazy bikers in Sweden but it's the best lifestyle there is... Perfect work-life balance
I was thinking the same !
I went the exact same route as you. Started on a GSA, ditched that for a T7 after a demo ride. Picking up a Beta 500 RS in a few weeks to go along side the T7
Awesome 😎
Thanks Texas. Yes the 500 makes all the sense
*Most of the "ADV" bikes are really just more capable tourers.*
You _can_ take them offroad.
@@MaintDocs Interested to know what a long day equstes to in distance when riding on sealed roads (between trails). Cheers
What a beautiful sounding language ❤ I almost understood what you and your friend were saying .. very soothing
Ah thank you. Or ”Tack!” As we say
What an amazing video. Guys have some skills for sure!

Check out the new Fantic XEF 450 Rally, it is based on the Yamaha WRF 450, think the changed the gearing and maybe oil volume. Weight 140 kg dry and 30 liters fuel capacity.
Just a tad expensive but very nice bike
I got a Fantic XEF 450 Rally. Disappointing on the handling side. They did not manage to make the tanks to the chassis size. They are way too wide so they compromise everything, and with a huge sacrifice in rideability. The bike feels heavy and large even if its based on a very good Yamaha WR. I would consider the prep made by xrebels before this one (they do Yamaha or Fantic). They are going to be much more cost-effective than a KTM or Husqvarna once you add all the prep you must go through. @@NomadSweden
Hey you Swedes are really damn funny! Really entertaining video my friend
Cheers 🍻
Wow, that’s one way to test out a Bike you’ve never been on before. That was Tough, but you made it through. I do think you would have had a better test of the Bike riding through Trails like you would want to Ride on. Great Video, i was really impressed with the KTM 450. Big Howdy from Texas. Looking forward to the next Video. New Subscriber.👍👍
Thanks :)
I have a trick 790 adventure cone valves ect but also own a kove 450 the same reasons
I had the same idea as you. Got rid of the GS Adventure and now have a Husqvarna FE501 with a rally tower and bigger tank. Soon to be joined in the new year by a Tenere 700!!
Then we are brothers 😊
Wow that was a satisfying testride! I am also in the process of building an adventure enduro. Mine is based on Swedish finest, a Husaberg 70 degrees FE 450. Everything is almost too easy on these bikes 😅. My problem is that it is hard to find spares and aftermarket solutions, for the KTM 500exc everything is available. The Kove looks like an off the shelf ADV Enduro, very tempting…
Yes the Kove is tempting but still 160 kg fully fueled… getting too close to the T7 as a companion perhaps
I recently bought T7 World Raid and I love it. But this video comes just on time. As, I was thinking about going more steep off-road here in the Balkans.
Wow the sand pit was awsome ! I could feel your joy !
Indeed. Awesome ride with crazy people
@@NomadSwedenI like this place very much!
Crazy? Normal as possible!
This is why I love your videos,crazy ride,crazy friends...😎
Haha indeed
Hi, you also have the AJP PR7, it's a 600cc bike manufactured in Portugal, weighs only 150kgs.
Well its 165 will full tank and it would be a perfect replacement for T7. But as a complement its a bit too close.
Cheers!
Very nice drive Robert. Clock 15:10 you driving on "Höglandsleden" ? Very nice track
Ah, i had no idea. But great it was
I literally did the same thing, but unfortunately had to replace T7. I got Husqvarna 501 today after couple of buddies took me on hard enduro with that weapon. :)
Yeah it’s hard to resist 😊
What was that with the cave?
A baptism to enduro??!!
I have an T7 too and i thinkin to sell it for an mt 09 and to an cheap enduro..
But i want one 4 stroke with less maintance
Vilken otroligt go runda de bjöd på!
Thanks for the input mate
I got a 450 exc and made it more advenury! Go light, go fast, save your body!
It’s crazy as a dirt bike trail guy on a KDX 200 that KTM 500 sounds massive to me 😂 dirt bike variety is so awesome
True that!
Dutch Stroopwafel cookies, talks German 😂. Nice!
It looks like you guys had much much fun!
It was stab in the heart, but i forgive people that are on Nomad Norwegian.
LOVED this video. Ive wanted a 500 excf for so long. I don’t even need one lol.
There is no bottom grunt with a KOVE 450. My KTM 500EXC-f can be a tractor when I want it to be and a rocket when I want it to be, just like the old CR500.
Gillar tanken med två hojar, varav en lättare. Steve är ju världsklass också!😂 Härlig video! Ska bli intressant att se ditt kommande val. 😃
Thanks. Dang you tried many bikes. I hope Kove can be tested soon in Sweden. Could be the bike for me also
What are you srsly hoping to get from Kove compared to bikes you tested and didnt like? More comfort? no way you will get that. All those extra bits just make it much more heavier then normal 350-500 enduro bike. Do you really need that 600km range? :D There is huge pay for that considering the weight and complexity
I want to still my curiosity. @@CheradenineZakalwe
300-350cc more than enough for fun off-road, mud, hill climbing... I own AT, but for off-road I have 300cc Chinese dirt bike. And it fully covered all my wishes 😄
Also 300cc bike good for skill.
I've gone from Vstrom 1000 to 650 to Versys 650 to an Electric Unicycle , i never had so much fun offroad !
I’d like to try one for sure
I rented a Honda CRF300 for a week to ride the ACT overthere. I was impressed by this little bike. So full of fun and easy to ride. 2 disadvantages are , suspension to soft ( needs an upgrade) and the bike feels vera small. At home a have a KTM890 advR . But for offroad i will prefure the Honda above my own KTM ( To heavy). So for offroad i am thinking about downsizing
Like the Honda also. Needs some help with quality parts like from Zeta-Racing f. e..
Neat little bike, but I would recommend you try some others before buying. See if you know anyone with a wr450 or similar, etc. You might find a little more torque is a lot more fun and less work when the going gets rough.
Härliga åkställen 👍

How about the AJP PR7? This is what my heart feels about.
For me its a bit to close to the T7. If I sold my T7 it would be a choice
I have a '23 890 Adventure R Robert and just bought a 2020 KTM 500 EXC-F (20-23 models are mostly the same frame & engine) and it is true the best of both worlds. The 500 is just fun and crashes well 😉

True words indeed. Cheers
Whoah, I found myself ducking down just watching the underground sections!
Yeah that was intense :)
Fyhelvete vad kul det såg ut att vara. MERA!
Ja i Småland går det vilt till :D
approx 105kg for the 500 - 150 for the KOVE - I love the Kove and i want one bad after riding it but it is a heavy bike in reality and halfway between the Tenere and the 500, it also has no power compared to the 500 - it is a revvier bike and is operating in a small window as comparison to 500....If you mention weight etc as the shortcoming in your riding and bravery then you should go the 500 route, i own the 500 and it is a real weapon in any condition - enjoy whatever you choose, i am sure you will love the Kove if you get to try it but not the same as 500, not close
Thanks for the feedback. Indeed the 500 would be the best complement to the T7.
@@NomadSwedenoh yeah I'm not preaching, we are all different, you felt the difference between the rally and the 500
Different bikes aren't they, totally design wise
Is the Beta 500RR-S available in Sweden? I hear it's even better than the KTM 500 EXC.
I dont think so. Its not on the swedish beta site
The last part I was talking about the KOVE rally.
At first I thought "dam, my wife only has one horse..." Then you went into that tunnel 🤣👍 chapeau 👏
Thanks. Yes many parameters to consider
