- Revisiting the Kew Gardens - Union Tpke station along the IND Queens Blvd Line. All 4 tracks of this station have relative straight before and after tracks allowing for trains to reach extremely high speeds, all seen in this video.
Enjoy 50 MPH action, Alstom/Siemens Propulsions, R160s and the E/F Trains flying with CBTC.
Taken 12/6 and 12/7, 2022.
These express trains are coming in at about 37-39 mph
Thank you for this video. After a long trip on Sunday I change into this platform from line E to F to exit at station 42St Bryant Park. A warm greeting from far away Sicily.

Remove the R and send that to Astoria then extend the G to Forest Hills then QBL will be DOPE

I love how the conductor on that first E train purposely cut out the “please” in the “stand clear of the closing doors please” announcement
I also rode the E train bound for World Trade Center to that and 14th Avenue and the one bound for Jamaica Center to 7th Avenue
Siemens Propulsion R160Bs seem to be much more common on the E & R

Just gotta do your Thang and always keep a look out for people, noises, etc

What's your take on curved platforms at stations? Do you think it's safe, or should the transit system have implemented straight linear platforms? Any comments?
I think curved platforms are perfectly, and it makes stations look unique. I dont think they make stations any more unsafe
