    Good video! We have a propane outside firepit that we bought at Lowes so we never buy firewood. We get about 10 hrs on a 20lb tank, there's no smoke and you can use it when there are fire restrictions prohibiting wood fires. Instant fire and use as long as you wish.

    One thing we have really found useful while cycling is our Sena helmets. They have intercom capabilities, which allows us to easily talk while riding. You can also connect your phone to the helmet via Bluetooth. One of those pieces of gear that, once you have it, you can't imagine how you ever did without it!

    Oh and for those camping with dogs, they have little backpacks with accessories just for your dogs, it comes with collapsible food bowls, zippered bag containers for food/treats) place mats and such. Also don’t forget dog first aid! I got a really good one from Amazon cheap, honestly we’re better prepared for a dog incident than a human one lol, the only first aid kit I have for us is a little day hiking one and a ton of band aids 😂. Also screw in tie down stakes for your site, I also found using our 5 gallon bucket (I normally use to add some water to our tanks when we’re not using it to keep them treated so nothing toxic) for their water outside works way better than a regular dog bowl as they’re less likely go kick it over or kick dirt it in, this wouldn’t work for small dogs of course lol.

    Another great video from you both. Some of those gadgets are sort of korney, but most work well. I was one of the first buyers of the Lectric XP a few years ago. I live in hilly rural central Ohio in the summer where I ride it almost everyday, and take it with me to Florida where I winter and ride it there everyday as well. These bikes are built very well. I have over 2000 miles on mine and it still rockin.

    Great information for newbies! So nice to see Susan out from behind the camera!!! Beautiful e-bikes! What type of locks do you have and recommend for them? I only mention as Liz & Paul from Liz Amazing had their e-bikes stolen and I suspect they could be very tempting even if you were right inside the rig. Thanks!

    I love collapsible! We have a 25ish foot travel trailer. So far I have a collapsible laundry basket I use to help load the RV before we leave and for dirty clothes while we’re camping. I also have that collapsible dish drainer which I love. I also found the perfect (for our camper) size trash can with a lid for the main area of our camper, I got it at Walmart, the lid snaps closed, it’s small enough to fit beside our couch/Murphy bed but not too small that it’s not practical. We’ve also started wrapping rope led lights on the arms of our awning because the built in lights barely light up anything and that’s been super handy. I also highly recommend thermacell! We have a ton of storage but to make better use of it I have a hanging closet shelf (the fabric kind) in our linen closet, and in our wardrobes to make better use of all the room on the bottom I got 4 little foldable cubes 2 for each closet. I also picked up just a cheap stick vacuum that doubles as like a dirt devil, it’s not your home vacuum but it def helps, we have 2 dogs so I found myself vacuuming the camper every day while we’re camping, and it’s fairly easy to stick somewhere out of the way. Also command hooks, get em, use em, you need them! I also try and have stuff that’s just for the camper, i went to dollar tree and got a ton of staple items, cutting board, knives, etc that we can just leave in the camper so it’s one less thing we can forget. Per your recommendation I got the rhino sewer hose, and a similar flush system and I love it, super easy for us newbies to use. We’re still learning, but it’s been a fun experience, we just got back from a trip to jersey from Florida with ours and it was a major game changer for traveling. Don’t forget to treat your tanks! Use whatever you prefer just don’t forget, for us our grey water has been the most troublesome lol. Anyhoo just some added tips I’ve discovered just starting out. We have a little aluminum camping table that’s super light and folds up easy that was super cheap from Walmart that works fine for us between our anti gravity chairs. We already had it from our tent camping days.

    • @monkeyz240
      @monkeyz240 2 года назад

      Oh I also found, on Amazon, a little trash can that collapses flat, but it also has a hooked back so it can fit over a cabinet door or in our case, over the lip of the cubby of our bathroom vanity, so it’s stable and right there next to the toilet. Super awesome little thing. It’s also designed so that can sit it on the floor if you don’t have anywhere to hang it.

    Hi! Love this video and appreciate the quick, concise list and links to each item! I’m a newbie and really appreciate your channel. One question on surge protectors - I have a 30-amp adapter with a built-in surge protector. Have you had any experience with those, or would you recommend a more heavy-duty protector? Thanks!

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  Год назад

      Hi Terry,
      Glad you like the video! We have a portable surge protector for our Class C and A RVs and have had no problem with them even when I have to use an adapter with them. You could always go for the more expensive heavy duty surge protector but they need to be hard wired into your system and if they fail they may be difficult to over ride. I've not seen or used an all in one adapter and surge protector but I would prefer to have the adapter and the surge protector as two separate items. I've had two adapters fail over time and it's much easier and cheaper to just replace an adapter.
      I hope this info helps...
      Mike

    Just discovered your channel and love your videos! You seem like such lovely and happy people, I would love to do this one day. I’m sure you have videos on this already, but how do you afford to be on the road all the time? That’s the biggest barrier for me

    Do you keep your trash can outside overnight when boondocking? Thanks

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  2 года назад +1

      Hey Sunny,
      It depends on our location. If there's wild animals, if we're on commercial property, etc then we keep our trashcan inside the RV.

    I know this is off topic of the video about favs. However, what advice or guidance can you give about a Power line energy management system. Do you have one? Which kind do you have? What questions does

      Hey Blue Family,
      We really don't know of a power line management system, we've never used or heard of them. Maybe you'll have to create one!

    Why do you no longer recommend the Zero G hose?

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  Год назад

      We have purchased two of the Zero G hoses in the past and both started leaking around the fitting. We love that it's compact but not gonna keep trying them out. I will say I have toalked to people in the past that haven't had this problem. 🤷‍♀️ Thank you for watching our Favorite Gear video and commenting John.

    Can you please show how you unhook from the camp site or do you already have a video that you can link? Because I’m a newbie and I can’t seem to find a video of unhooking the Rv from a campsite

      Hey Ash,
      Can you elaborate on unhook? Are you referring to water/electric/sewer?

    newbie here, just started out full time for a yr in my class C. Would the surge protector protect my 30amp rig if the only hookup available is 50amp?

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  2 года назад

      Hey Diane,
      You would need a 50 to 30 adapter, then use protector.
