@Daniel Dean Hi Daniel, Was this your first time watching a video on RUclips? Almost every video has commercials. RUclips runs the commercials (not us) and then we make a portion of the ad fees that RUclips charges the advertisers. We have to get paid somehow because this is my full-time job. You can pay a fee to RUclips to watch all videos commercial-free but I doubt you would want to do that. Just SKIP the ads bro - that's what the rest of us do...we don't watch the ads either. Hope you have a great day. Mike
@Daniel Dean Rude. Ads are why we get millions of videos for free, either suck it up or watch something else. Literally a few seconds of ads and you had to give it a dislike, bless your heart.
I liked the first one! I had no idea a "vintage" new teardrop existed. They're all too small for me after living in a truck camper, but if I ever settle down, I'd LOVE one of these for long weekend getaways. They're so cute!
I really like the Little Guy Mini Max. Love the fridge and that the kitchen is located up front. BTW, thank you for listing the GVWR ratings. I feel like when looking at trailers this is important so people know what is needed to haul the trailers.
Hi SFUOC, Our viewers requested GVWR and we delivered! lol! Thanks for noticing and for the positive feedback! Thanks for watching and commenting! Mike and Susan GET READY! We are launching our new digital/video magazine on June 1st!
Really enjoying your reviews. I am blown away by the prices of these tiny trailers, especially after watching your other videos featuring much bigger trailers with several times the amenities for less money..... Thanks for providing objective reviews!
Hey James, We appreciate the love and support! I have a truck camper that I've seen vary by up to $5000, same year and model. It was also manufactured about 1200 miles away and I imagine it wasn't cheap to ship so I think prices vary by dealership. I'm in a rural area, I had to take what fit my truck. You're smart to do your research, happy camping!!

Thank you so much for sharing your RV knowledge - I've really enjoyed watching your videos; very informative and friendly to the RV newbies, like me. :D I think the Little Guy Mini Max was my favorite in this video, but love all the different, clever storage options found in all the teardrops. Looking forward to seeing more from you - thanks again!

I love how your video style. You get straight to the important parts first: interior and weight! Great job as always! PS my fave was the little guy max.
I've been leaning towards NuCamp but they have a new model with bathroom and kitchen in back. Was so hoping to see it in the video. But am grateful to see the other models to see the overall quality.

Excellent reviews as always. Good points that haven't been brought out in other review or walkthroughs. Susan's video work is also spot on. Unsung hero? :)
Hi HerrP, Susan is definitely an unsung hero!!!! Not only does she shoot the video but she also edits, adds in all the graphics and creates the transitions. One feature that you did not mention about the larger Tab series of trailers is the Aldi heating system. It uses heated liquid that is circulated through radiators positioned around the trailer (including one under the bathroom floor! Really great in the morning!). It provides even heat without the noise of a fan. There is also a heat pump that will provide heat and cool. After owning my Tab 400 for two years, I’m still a big fan!

3/25/22 Hi - We went looking at campers today and your video helped us immensely! We've had popups and hybrids in the past and wanted to go a little smaller and more compact. What the Nu-Camper 400 lacks in space seems to make up for in quality, although it seems a little pricey. Thanks for doing the video - Wanda & Rick NH
Hello! Wow someone who actually measures, awesome! Little Guy Mini max is the best I saw but is the underside sealed up or exposed? Insulation is great unless the floor allows cold in or your tanks freeze up….
Hey xray nomad, I'm not sure I understand the question! Hi Rod. Just Googled the tow capacity of a Tesla Y and it appears to be 3,500 lbs. That means you should stick to an RV with the GVWR of 3,000 lbs to be safe. Thanks for watching and commenting.
15:09 For The NuCamp Boondock, the floor plan shows only a external kitchen - but then instead it has a full kitchen on the shower side. You never go out and show the external kitchen, seems like the one you were in is different and didn't have a external kitchen?
Hey h82fall, Great catch! Out of all the views you're the first to catch that Susan put in the wrong floor plan 😬 we appreciate you letting us know. Whoops! Thanks for watching and commenting! - Mike & Susan
Hey y’all, I love the largest one the absolute best. I like the idea of not having to set up my bed. But high price! Mainly what I’d want is a bathroom. I want a toilet and a shower for sure. Enjoyed the video!
I own a Tab 400 and my dealer came down into the $30,000 range. There’s a lot of great features he didn’t mention! Like the under mattress spring system! Glycol radiant heat-no furnace, heated floor, heat in bathroom. Instant hot water-no hot water heater to mess with, just to name a few!!

They have totally lost their minds with these prices. I bought my 2019 T@G, used 1 1/2 years, for $12,000. My wife and I travel the country in it and it fits in my garage. I’ll never get rid of it. AC, Heating, TV, Stereo, 2-phase Cooler/ Freezer, Microwave, King Bed, etc. Never buy these things new. There are plenty of folks out there that try camping and end up not liking it.

Love these! The ingenuity is great! Wondering if any of the teardrops are made small and light enough to be pulled behind Goldwing 1800 or 3 wheel Goldwing. Thinking it would be fun to surprise hubby with one on his retirement. I do not know enough about towing one to know if it is good idea.
Hi Marilyn, I'm not a motorcycle guy so maybe you could call a Dealer and ask what the towing capacity is. I will say you never want to tow more than 80% of the maximum towing capacity to prevent damaging your vehicle. Thanks for watching and commenting! Mike and Susan By the way, have you subscribed to our RUclips channel yet? If not we sure hope you will click below and subscribe! Thanks! goto.rvblogger.com/RUclipsChannel?sub_confirmation=1
I am looking for a small camper but Holy Cow Batman look at those prices? I won’t be living in one full time & need something to upgrade from a tent. Don’t need things like a microwave but one big bed that turns into 2 twin beds would be nice if you go hunting with your buddy. Also for when I get older & don’t want to crawl over each other. Also by having the two beds let’s you still have the table up so you don’t have to keep rearranging all the time. The 2 main things for me is having a place to sleep & a toilet near by with shower especially when ya get older. When your younger you don’t think about getting older when you purchase your first RV but then life gets to ya & you trade it off because you don’t want to go outside behind the bush or crawl over your companion. I love the outdoors & being in the wild. I don’t need no tv or radio when I have family & friends. We go camping to get away from civilization & to not worry what’s going on in the world. I find a place where no one is right next to you like in a RV park besides I only use the RV to sleep & bathroom. Everything else is done outside around a campfire. If it gets to stormy outside & the awning isn’t helping I can do things inside with some counter space. Need to have storage & a fridge freezer that runs on electricity with solar that I can get to from outside or inside. Don’t want to be stuck in the RV during a storm & have no access to the fridge or stove. People don’t think of these things of what if? What if there’s bears out side & your hungry or your only toilet is behind a bush? I really don’t want to have to buy a RV that I have to buy something to pull it with. To save me money & don’t need to worry about towing an RV. I want to get a cargo van & camp in it plus I can haul things in it or take off in it when there’s an emergency. I can put my quad in the back or get some trail bikes. It’s more useful for me & when I’m stuck traveling to the forest in traffic everything will be in the van with me. I guess it all depends on what the Wife wants but I would run this by her first.

You got that right. I do enjoy watching these RV vlogs to see what’s new out there & thanks for sharing. I always loved RVs when I was a kid. Not one RV had everything I liked so I would cut up the floor plans to create my own.
It appears the RAV4 can tow between 1,500-3,500 lbs depending on if you have the tow package or not. Once you determine your vehicles tow capacity, we recommend towing a max of 80% of that weight to be safe. Thanks for watching and commenting Deborah!
Tab 320...except I also like the soon to come Barefoot even more which is just amazing. So tired of all the tan and grey and brown and overly dark camper color schemes. So boring and depressing. Lol. But at least it’s exponentially better than all that weird cream wallpaper crap in the other kinds of RVs that to me still look like something straight out of the 1970s. I wish they too would finally come join us in the 21st century and discover the concept of actual color and the versatility of a white backdrop and how it can open up such a small space. Lol. The red and white cushions were awesome looking in that other one tho. I just want an indoor kitchen so that one’s out for me. Lol. Would prefer white walls, white cabinets, butcher block looking countertops or smooth black, stainless or white appliances, light or bright leather looking cushions....(not grey or beige and easy wipe clean) but that combo is SO hard to find in ANY decently priced camper. Just not gonna pay that much if I have to give it an interior facelift anyways. I also want everything smooth, slick and easy wipe clean (can’t deal with carpet on the walls etc which will likely be dirty and funky smelling in 5 minutes lol).

Hi Mike and Susan! Another helpful video of small trailers. Mike, you were very helpful to me a couple weeks back about what size camper l could tow behind my small SUV with a 3500 lb capacity. You educated me that l shouldn't carry more than 80% of my max tow capacity so you recommended a trailer at 2000 lbs to allow for cargo, myself and my 2 small dogs. Can you please clarify is the 2000 lbs the UVW or is it the GVWR or some other weight? I get confused with all the different weights thrown around. Thanks so much!
Hi Rosemary, I'm glad I was able to help you out! Here's the deal. The UVW is Unloaded Vehicle Weight which means this is the weight of the vehicle right out of the factory. The GVWR is the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating which is the most the camper is rated to weigh when fully loaded with gear, supplies, water, groceries, clothes and whatever else you pack. So.... if you vehicle has a max tow capacity of 3,500 lbs you never want to tow more than 80% of that which is 2,800. Optimally, you will want to find a camper that has a UVW at 2,000 lbs or less and a GVWR of 2,800 lbs or more, so when you load it up with your gear and supplies it doesn't weigh over 2,800 lbs. I hope that all makes sense but if not please let me know... I would be happy to get in touch and walk you through it. Thanks for watching and commenting! Mike and Susan
Hey there Mr Mike and Ms Sue..I'm Carla Puckett I was in a real bad house fire God blessed me I have a 2006 cavalier camper and it's a lot to move around in when traveling I would love to have something small it's just me by myself what do you recommend whatever it is I got to have something for the restroom cuz I have a small handicap I can only use my right hand very little use of my left.
I just checked inTech's website and the newest model of the Luna Rover comes with a cassette toilet. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I am kind of timid to purchase a single axle TT for out of state towing due to flats, any assurance you can provide as I have found a single axle NOBO that I really like
Hey Roshell, Even if you have a double axle and get a flat, you will need to fix it. Overall, a dual axle trailer would be safer if you had a flat tire. I hope that answers your question! Yes we do! We have a 2021 Bushwhacker plus 17FD that has many of the same options shown in these campers and some more. It is a great small camper that still has everything a couple would need, such as a short queen, shower/toilet, burners, microwave, air conditioning, heat, dinette, outdoor shower and much more. Bought it brand new for only $13000 and would recommend it to any couple looking for a camper! If you guys ever get a chance to review one I would definitely recommend!

I'd like to point out that while some of these are pricey you literally get what you pay for. Most of stick built ultra lite trailers are so poorly built they literally start falling apart when you drive them off the lot. Partical board and staples. The Nu Camp and Mini Max cabinets are solid maple cabinets, fiberglass roof/Azdel walls, double pane windows, and much better appliances, sinks etc. The Mini max has a porcelain toilet!. We are looking at a Mini Max this weekend that is $5,000 under mrsp and features 2 solar panels, a rear camera, and a lagun table. Some dealers have reduced the base 2022 Minimax to 24k. It will fit in our garage and I don't need an F 150 to tow it.

Teardrops are a very cool RV floor plan and design but they do lack space inside. We find many people using exterior shelters like a Clam to help create additional living space at your campsite. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting, we appreciate your support!
Hey BH, Good question! Really depends on where you're camping. At a campground there's normally bathhouses/outhouses that have showers and restrooms. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I'm guessing it has to do with supply and demand. There are a lot more SUV's driving around than pickups. It seems like the manufacturers are price gouging because of the lower towing capacities of SUV's.

Hello Mike & Susan- new to your channel. I like the Little Guy Mini max. That is a cool refrigerator. I have a 6-cylinder- automatic- Tacoma. What is the towing weight limit and would an electric jack make a difference? Also what is the key difference between this tear drop and the Braxton Creek, model " off-road Bushwacker Plus"? Besides the price? The Bushwacker is around 12K. I'm hoping my Tacoma could tow it. Thank you ~ Diane
Hi Diane, All good questions! I have a Toyota Tacoma too and it all depends on the year of your Tacoma, the engine size and transmission type, and the packages that you have. I have a 2015 Tacoma with the tow package and a V-6 engine so I can tow up to 6500 lbs. However, we recommend you tow no more than 80% of your vehicles max tow capacity so in my case that would be 5,200 lbs. If you go to the back of your owners manual there are 30 pages about max tow rating for a Tacoma. It's a little confusing and you have to know many of your vehicle specs to find your exact Tacoma to determine the max tow capacity. An electric jack does not affect how much you can tow. I'm not exactly sure which tear drops you are asking me to compare but the NuCamps have way more features than the Bushwacker like heated floors, better mattress systems, better window shades and they are made of fiberglass...just to name a few. Good morning MIke - from New Hampshire! Thanks so much for responding so quickly! Well- my sweet Tacoma is a 2004. last year for the Toy. She has a factory installed hitch and I do have the original driver's manual. We are working farmers who would like a small camper with bathroom and head space, but one that doesn't break the bank! We work 24/7 a lot and want to be able to take day trips to the beach and be home in time to feed the cattle. You are an encouragement for me to start researching what is out there, both new and used. I really want to be able to use the Tacoma. Will also have a word with my mechanic :-) Thank you for all the work that you and Susan put into your channel. If you send me an email address, I can send a few photos of our farm~ Diane

Ok. inTech RV would disagree. 😀 "Luna is reimagining and redefining the classic teardrop camper." Per their website. Thanks for watching and commenting.
If you have followers/subscribers who are remotely handy - recommend they build their own. you can even design your own using simplified CAD tools for the amateur...a most, you will need 7th to 8th grade math skills, and familiarization with tools. Spending $16,000 + is nuts unless you enjoy giving your money away.

@Daniel Dean Hi Daniel,
Was this your first time watching a video on RUclips?
Can a Moped pull one ?
I really like the Little Guy Mini Max. Love the fridge and that the kitchen is located up front. BTW, thank you for listing the GVWR ratings. I feel like when looking at trailers this is important so people know what is needed to haul the trailers.
Hi SFUOC,
Our viewers requested GVWR and we delivered! lol!

Really enjoying your reviews. I am blown away by the prices of these tiny trailers, especially after watching your other videos featuring much bigger trailers with several times the amenities for less money..... Thanks for providing objective reviews!
Hey James,

I have a truck camper that I've seen vary by up to $5000, same year and model. It was also manufactured about 1200 miles away and I imagine it wasn't cheap to ship so I think prices vary by dealership. I'm in a rural area, I had to take what fit my truck. You're smart to do your research, happy camping!!
Really like the Mini-Max. The headroom was decent. Loved the fridge. Good amount of storage room.

I would choose the most compatible for Tesla Y. Which is it?
Hey h82fall,

There are plenty of folks out there that try camping and end up not liking it.

what are the dimensions inside of your trailler (length, height, width)?
We have a Class C RV and I don't know the inside dimensions...
It's about 8' wide and 24' long on the outside.

Hi Marilyn,
I'm not a motorcycle guy so maybe you could call a Dealer and ask what the towing capacity is. I will say you never want to tow more than 80% of the maximum towing capacity to prevent damaging your vehicle.

Hi Smiley Sun,
It is always interesting to us how people have different needs and also how they would use their RV.

You got that right. I do enjoy watching these RV vlogs to see what’s new out there & thanks for sharing. I always loved RVs when I was a kid. Not one RV had everything I liked so I would cut up the floor plans to create my own.
Is there a teardrop with a bathroom that a RAV4 can tow ??
Hey Stephanie,
We agree! So many campers really do still look like a blast from the past LOL your design idea sounds great!

Hi Rosemary,
I'm glad I was able to help you out!
@@RVBlogger thank you so much! You have answered what I need.......you guys are the best!!!
@@RVBlogger What is your justification of the 20% derating? The manufacturer already has a wide safety factor in the design when giving you the GVWR.

Hey Roshell,
Even if you have a double axle and get a flat, you will need to fix it. Overall, a dual axle trailer would be safer if you had a flat tire. I hope that answers your question!

Teardrop trailers are beauty... but isn't an eficient design. It's better a box for set all the things you need in.
Teardrops are a very cool RV floor plan and design but they do lack space inside. We find many people using exterior shelters like a Clam to help create additional living space at your campsite. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting, we appreciate your support!
what options do you have for toilet needs in these that have no baths?
Hey BH,
Good question! Really depends on where you're camping. At a campground there's normally bathhouses/outhouses that have showers and restrooms.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Why do the tiny trailers cost just as much as the bigger ones they don’t even have a shower toilet
The Lone Power Ranger,
Honestly, we wish we could answer that. We don't play any part in the pricing of the campers unfortunately.

You can find a full size camper for the price of these. I just can’t wrap my head around why they are so expensive.
Hey ZPV,
Some campers are at a higher price point. Also we put the current MSRP at the beginning of each and prices have gone up significantly on all of them since 2020.

I'm guessing it has to do with supply and demand. There are a lot more SUV's driving around than pickups. It seems like the manufacturers are price gouging because of the lower towing capacities of SUV's.
PRIMO Content ....... Much Thanks for the Education !!!!!! Hope to meet up on the road if fate prevails. Be Well 🌞

The first three are for young healthy people. Wish campers could be made for handicapped people......the prices are way too high.....I am betting the costs to build are much lower.....big profit margins are just sad.
Hi Dayna,
We are conducting research currently for a new blog article we are working on which will be called Best Campers for Handicapped Individuals.
Keep an eye out on our website for the article. rvblogger.com
We wish we could do a video about them but we can't find them in stock anywhere...but we at least wanted to write the article.

You gotta be kiddin' me. The small campers are more expensive than a regular car. The purpose of it is to live cheap and simple. That's why these things are not selling.

Hi Diane,
All good questions!

Will also have a word with my mechanic :-)
Thank you for all the work that you and Susan put into your channel. If you send me an email address, I can send a few photos of our farm~ Diane
@@dianehall5345 HI Diane,
Would love to see your farm. my email is Mike@rvblogger.com

45k for a tear drop wow
We've learned that in many cases, the smaller the camper the bigger the MSRP. Thanks for watching and commenting Lost in Iowa!
All of those were nice, but I guess not for me. It’s just too close of quarters for me.
HI Barbara,
Teardrops are definitely not for everyone!

The first 2 are not teardrop😊 trailers, they are just small campers
Ok. inTech RV would disagree.
That is a great option for those that are handy. Thanks for offering your suggestion. Thank you for watching and commenting.
I am sorry, but you need a little toilet in the ones that don't have a bathroom.

The size doesn't matter as much as the quality, features and materials used when it comes to cost.
