    We have the 2022 Gulfstream Conquest 6280 LE, same model as you reviewed. We absolutely love it. We have been RV owners for many years, going back to the 1980's. We've owned travel trailers, 22 ft up to 36ft, with and without slides. We've owned a 37ft Class A with 3 slides, and we've owned two other Class C motorhomes before this model. This Class C without the slides is by far our favorite RV of all.
    We had some bad luck with slides not going in straight and gears slipping. We decided that no slides was the way to go.
    We are not tall people, so the step up in the bedroom doesnt bother us, plus it makes it very easy to reach things in the overhead storage above the bed. I added canvas totes to use as drawers and it is quite easy to access items.
    The bathroom with the magnetic door to make it an en suite is wonderful. My only complaint was the lack of a place for towels in the bathroom. I had my hubby remove the unnecessary mirror, patch the holes and install metal shelves that are made for storing rolled up bath towels. Plus we installed an over the door towel rack. The RV industry should catch on to some of these storage ideas.

    Keep in mind that Ford no longer warrants RV vehicles, suspensions, engines or transmissions. They are using “The RV manufacturer modified our designs outside of Ford’s specifications” as a reason. If you buy one, GET AN AFTERMARKET WARRANTY as Ford will not help. 😊

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  Год назад +3

      That's the first I've heard of this. We have a Ford chassis and had warranty work done to our motohome. Is there documentation of this somewhere?

    • @Erin-Thor
      @Erin-Thor Год назад +4

      @@RVBlogger - Well… I may owe you an apology. I remember watching a news segment about class action lawsuits against Ford, been about 6 months to a year back, where multiple customers reported warranty denials on suspension and rear transmission issues. Ford was denying claims saying the RV exceeded specs, see the RV manufacturer, and the RV manufacturers said they purchased and built it to Ford specs, see Ford. The motor homes ranged from the F53 class A, B’s and C’s chassis’s, and some of the claims were for engine issues (mostly their V10). I just did a search and didn’t find any recent issues or mentions of settlements. So… clearly I’m no expert. Respond and I’ll delete this thread.

    I have to go with the coachmen freelander. You can actually get completely around the bed without having to climb on the benches like you do in the Gulf Stream although I think the Gulf Stream's bathroom is better designed. Easy access to the bed and shower is important for me being disabled. I also like that the Coachman has a residential queen size. And the Thor unfortunately has one of those squished in corner beds that is no bueno for me. I appreciate seeing no slide models I just wish they were a bit shorter in length and not almost 30 ft long.

    First of all, I like that none of the RV's have slides. As a solo traveler, I like the 3rd (Thor) RV best. The others are too long. I did like the roomy bunk over the cab on the 2nd one, especially the height of the space.
    I do have a question on the first RV with the split bath. You didn't mention if there was anything to give privacy for those taking a shower. The 2nd one had the door to give privacy but on the first one, the door appeared to open towards the bedroom.
    Thanks for the great reviews.

    The Coachman Freelander - The over-cab bed seems to have pretty good head room for a small person or a couple of kids. Don't know how comfortable a bigger person would be sleeping in that area. Does the front passenger seat swivel? I saw seatbelts in the storage area under the dinette cushion. Great for additional passengers. Didn't see seatbelts on the sofa. I like the space around the bed. I like the split bathroom, but they should have made the powder room bigger, or configured differently. Not enough leg room.
    The Gulfstream Conquest - I like that there is a ladder for the over-cab bed. And I like that there's a window for that area. I'm not crazy about the plugs and charging being over the dinette. I don't like cords hanging from the ceiling. Didn't see any seatbelts on the sofa or dinette booths. Don't like the step-up on the sides of the bed. Tripping hazard. The powder room is too small.
    The Quantum - Good head room in the over-cab area. Not very much countertop space in the kitchen area. No oven? Don't like that. They should at least offer a convection microwave. Corner bed? I'm not sure about that. I would need a nightstand. Good leg room on the toilet.

      As a mentioned in your comment on another video, our video style is more of a brief overview of the RVs floor plan and liveability. We don't include all the information about each RV since each video includes 3 different RV tours. The video would be way too long. Our hope is that if someone sees a floor plan they like they can check the manufacturers website for more details.

      Don't forget these are MSRP. Dealerships will always lower prices. Thank you for watching our RV tour and commenting Paula!

    I've owned several RV's. None of the three you presented are worth the asking price.

      The MSRP of RVs is still a bit too high. We are seeing prices lower and dealerships and RV shows drastically reduce prices. Let's hope this trend continues. Thank you for watching our RV tour video and commenting!

    You only talk about the inside what about the outside other class C.

      Sorry, we don't usually get to review the outside. We typcially visit dealerships and RV shows and these RVs are tightly parked. We're hoping that, from our brief overview of the floor plan, if you see an RV that peaks your interest you can check the manufacturer website for more details.
